As someone who has sensitive, red skin, but wears lots of makeup daily, I need good cleansers and makeup removers. I started using Aqua Marina as my facial cleanser, but felt it wasn't getting my eye makeup off enough. This helped in ways I can't explain. I get two round cotton pads and wet them, and then apply 9 to 5 to them and place them on my eyes for 30 seconds to a minute, then gently just rub around to get any stubborn eye makeup off. THIS WORKS beautifully. I then wash my entire face wit Aqua Marina, apply Breath of Fresh Air as my toner, and finally Cosmetic Lad as my moisturizer. My face has never looked better, and it smells AMAZING. I have no irritation for basically the first time in my life, and my skin actually feels clean when I go to bed. Perfect product, hands down.

I am one of those gals who hates to wash her face at night with water... so I LOVE this product because I can just wipe it off with a cotton ball, and all my makeup comes off with it!!! I was amazed at how it powered through my mascara and left my skin super soft. This is my new nightstand staple! No more make-up stained pillowcases for me!

Love this product! I think I used something like it about 25 years ago at "another store"? Very gentle, cleans my face without drying it out. I do not feel the need to wash with something else after. No breakouts either. Does it take off all my mascara? Nope. But that's okay, because this is the best cleanser, and I'm glad it's back. Works great when used with Celestial as a moisturizer. I have super dry skin, but have occasional breakouts, and this stuff just rocks. Please, don't every get rid of it!

It did have a lovely smell and felt great going on the skin. But it was a pain to tissue off. I thought it would be sort of like using face wipes-just out it on, then easily wipe off. It did not leave a greasy feel, but my skin just did not feel clean afterward. Also, after a few days I began breaking out terribly. I quit using it for a week to see if it was the product, and when I began using it again, the same breakouts resulted. I love lush products--but give this one a miss.

I use this almost daily to remove my makeup. I have a hard time getting off my mascara and this product seems to help a little more than just washing my face. I like that it's moisturizing but wish it was just a tad bit stronger as a cleanser.

Last weekend i bought this on a whim, i had heard it was great as a makeup remover and i had yet to find a good one so i picked up the 3.4 oz bottle.

What i like about it: It makes my face feel amazing after i use it! It's great for taking off face makeup!

What i don't like about it: It's horrible at taking eye makeup off!Even after using a decent amount on my eyes and rubbing with a cotton pad, it just smeared the makeup around.

Overall, i love it for my face, not so much with my eyes.

I love this cleanser! I used a similar cleanser from a big name brand and liked it but it tended to dry out my skin and leave it tight, not to mention I couldn't pronouce one ingredient in it! Then I found this and it was heaven! It's like using that same big name cleanser but without the drying, irritation and all those chemicals! I also am on a prescription acne med. so I needed this to be very gentle and non-breakouty and let me tell you it pulled through! Never going back to another cleanser! As for the make up removing aspect, I do not use any make up so I have nothing to say on that feature.

I have the world's most sensitive dry skin. I get allergic reactions to products all the time but 9 to 5 has been a real life saver! It is so gentle that it could be used on a baby yet it takes off makeup amazingly. I wash my face with this morning and night and follow up with a dab of celestial moisturizer. Also, love that it's a liquid unlike some of LUSH's other products!

(Other than extreme dryness and sensitivity I have never had any skin issues such as break outs or acne - so I cannot vouch for anyone who has!)

This product is simply, amazing. I loved how it made my skin feel just trying it in the store. I needed something to help reduce my break outs when I would forget to take off my makeup before going to bed. Those "9 to 5" days can be brutal and can make you ridiculously tired. This product offers a quick way to end your day on a high note and also gives your skin that extra "oomph" that it needs. Love, love, love this product!

I use this to remove my makeup before my shower, also I use it in the morning before I put on my makeup. I use it with cotton balls, so after I put it on my face, let it sit for maybe a minute, then wipe it off with a cotton ball, or damp wash cloth. The smell is awesome, one of my favorite smells from Lush, hands down. I wish they had soap that smells like this! But after I use this to take off my makeup, I use Angels on Bare Skin while in the shower, as a cleanser/exfoliant. This combination is very light, and doesn't break out my face at all. I have very sensitive skin, and was worried about the oils in this, but they have done nothing but good so far!

This is my new favorite cleanser! Here is the way I use it: I apply a small amount to my face including the eye area and massage it in a circular motion. I then remove it with a cotton ball. No rinsing necessary. It removes all the makeup and yet it's very gentle. It leaves my skin feeling really nice and moisturized but NOT oily at all.

I love this product! Im a little confused of how to use it? It seems un-hygeinic to just wipe it off with a cotton ball. So what I do it I use it as a makeup remover, I smear it on my eyes and face, give my face a good 'massage' then i just wash it off with water and my makeup is gone. I then follow up with a exfoliator/cleanser (herbalism atm.) and it works perfectly! It doesnt seem to break me out, but it doesnt help with my acne at all, I just use it to get rid of all my makeup.

I bought this product a few days ago as my first Lush product. I was amazed when I used it to wash my face before bed after already having washed my face in the morning and putting NO makeup on, when I wiped it off with a cotton pad, it was brown! Proof that it cleaned everything well! My only problem, is I have dry skin (and I was recommended this product) and I haven't seen a significant improvement... yet! It is great though, and because of this, I plan on ordering a few more Lush products (since the nearest store is 2 hours away). VERY pleased!

My skin is really sensitive to products and I actually don't wash my face with anything but water. Whenever I use a product my face gets all red and can break out. I have been in search of a face product that will clean my face because water only does so much. When I told this to the Lush associate she recommended 9 to 5 and gave me a sample. It has been a week and so far so good! My face did not break out and after I use it, it does get a little red but for the most part clears right up after a minute. I do see tiniest traces of red here and there, which is why I give it a 4, but I know that this is only noticeable to me (it's that faint).

Hands down, this is the best beauty product I've ever owned. I am terrible about removing makeup/skincare in general, but 9 to 5 makes it extremely easy and it's the only skincare regimine I can follow on a 100% daily basis. I've found that it's a 2 in 1 moisturizer/skin cleanser and leaves my skin feeling fabulous and bright. I have very sensitive acne-prone skin and can't imagine my life without this product. A must must have! If you're on the fence, I really reccomend it. I started with a trial size after it was recommended in store, and had to go back for the large version immediately. It lasts a very long time too!

I love 9 to 5, but when I first bought it I used it so much that it made my skin oily. I have since scaled back, and use it at night as a moisturizing/makeup remover/night treatment kind of cleanser. I also use fresh farmacy and ocean salt to soak up oil/zap occasional zits and to remove dead skin. I think 9 to 5 smells awesome, and conditions my skin wonderfully when used in moderation. I have combination skin that easily becomes oily.

I'm not much of a "face washer." I always do it in the shower and rarely wash my face in the sink. Occasionally when I'm wearing make up. My face washes are always really gentle, like cetaphil. I'd heard a little about using olive oil or other oils as amethod for face washing and I thought it made sense.

I love '9 to 5.' I think it works for perfectly. My skin is likely considered sensitive combo. It can break out like crazy or be very clear. I got this stuff as a replacement for cetaphil and I'm glad I have changed my routine from shower washing to using this oil based cleanser. My face has been so clear since I've started using it!

I always follow it up with a moisturizer, celestial or a non-lush spf moisturizer I use. I liked Lush's rec to use a toner. I may try that the next time I get to lush.

You have to reformulate your thinking about skin care. This isn't a "cleanser" like we've been advertised in teen mags our whole life. It cleans your skin of the junk on top and leaves all the good oils on. If you strip those oils, like in normal cleansers, you end up causing more skin blemishes. So if you're confused or purchased 9 to 5 and don't see the point since its not a "Cleanser" reformate your thinking.

Either way, my skin, which isn't easy to deal with, is sooo happy.

I absolutely love the smell of this product and how it made my face feel. I use it daily right after the shower at night to get any remaining make-up off. What really blew me away though was when I died my hair. Nothing gets hair dye off my pale skin but I tried this just to see and to my astonishment it wiped ALL the dye right off! Amazing bonus to an amazing product.

I am not a huge makeup girl. More of a natural face. When I do wear makeup I love to use 9 to 5 to remove it. It is lightly scented, gentle and works well to remover all residue. It does not leave your skin dry or tight. I use toner and moisturizer after, and my skin feels soft and silky!

I love this cleanser. I was so intrigued when I received it as a gift that it was called a "Lotion Cleanser" after battling with my super sensitive skin for my entire life. It just sounded so soothing and it really is. I am not much of a make-up wearer so I cannot attest to its properties as a make-up remover but I can say that even when my skin appears squeaky-clean at the end of the day, you should see the stuff that comes off on my cotton ball - ewwwwww! It really does keep my skin clean and it is such a great way to end my day and allow me to go to bed with a fresh, clean feeling face with little work and no irritation.
