Q:Do I need to put this in the fridge or can i put it in the cabinet in my bathroom?Asked on 7/31/2015 by Alexa from Miami, FL
A:Air temperature is perfectly acceptable. You're welcome to store it in the fridge, but this doesn't prolong the freshness of your cleanser.Answered on 8/1/2015 by Myriam from Lush Direct
A:I have always kept my pot of Angels on Bare Skin on a shelf in the shower
stall. No need to keep refrigerated.Answered on 7/31/2015 by kc_train from Kansas
A:It does not need to be refrigerated. Mine sits on the edge of my tub.

Q:I recently purchased angels on bare skin, used it a couple times and it made me breakout even more than normal. so I decided to scroll thru the questions and answers and came across an answer that has me curious. is all glycerin made from soy? if so, is it in all the products?Asked on 7/28/2015 by rae
A:Glycerin is derived from soy or vegetable oil. In this case, vegetable. Lush uses grape seed oil in their products! Fear not! Give it time. Your skin needs to adjust to new products. Angels on bare skin is one of my favorites and I faced a similar issue. After about two weeks use my skin was brighter and more even than ever!

A:Glycerine can be either synthetic or derived from plants or animals. All the glycerine Lush uses is soy-based.Answered on 8/1/2015 by Myriam from Lush Direct
Q:Does this product need to be refrigerated??Asked on 7/28/2015 by nimby from fontana CA
A:It does not need to be refrigerated.Answered on 7/29/2015 by Kels from LUSH Direct
Q:since this exfoliates, would you recommend using it twice a day, at morning and night? if not, what other cleanser would pair well with this for combination skin at nighttime? and should I still use a scrub once a week to deep exfoliate my face along with using angels on bare skin?Asked on 7/19/2015 by josie
A:Angels on Bare Skin is a great exfoliator that is gentle enough for daily use. The lavender is very calming and the ground almonds are very gentle. Ocean Salt is a better once a week exfoliator as it is much more deep cleansing.Answered on 7/26/2015 by Alexander from Lush Direct
A:Yes, you could use this twice a day or not. It really depends on how much
exfoliation you want on your skin and if your skin really needs it. If you
have large pores or clogged pores you may want to start out using Angels on
Bare Skin twice a day but once your pores and skin get clearer go to only
once a day. And then try a more gentler cleanser at night like Aqua Marina.
I use a scrub once a week and I use Angels on Bare Skin just once a day on a
normal day.Answered on 7/22/2015 by kc_train from Kansas
A:It's not a harsh scrub. I use it morning and night.Answered on 7/20/2015 by Anonymous
Q:I used to use this product before and since I don't live that close to any Lush stores I went back to drug store products after I ran out, I now re-purchased it but have been getting little bumps and rashes every time I use it. Could this mean I'm allergic to it and should try something else? Or does this mean my skin is cleansing and getting used to it again?Asked on 7/10/2015 by Ingrid from Newark, CA
A:It depends on how long you've been using it- if you don't see an improvement in the little bumps within 2 weeks of use, then I would recommend exchanging it for another product that may work better for your skin type. It could be that you have developed a mild allergy to one of the ingredients in this fresh cleanser.Answered on 7/12/2015 by Haley from Lush Direct
Q:I love angles on bare skin, but only need to buy the small tub every 3 months. Why is the smaller roll no longer available? Is this something that will return? I ordered a different cleanser this month simply because it was available in a smaller portion.
Please bring back the small tub of angels for online purchase!Asked on 7/8/2015 by Jen from IRB, fl
A:It is currently out of stock, but it is always available online and in shops! So it's just a matter of waiting until they are available for purchase.Answered on 7/17/2015 by Anonymous
Q:I was wanting to use this in the morning with no toner or moisturizer. Would this work well for normal/combo skin? And would it work with no moisturizer?Asked on 7/5/2015 by Bee
A:We always suggest using moisturizer so I think this would work best with something like Imperialis! That being said everyone's skin is very different so if you find that you don't need to use a moisturizer after cleansing then you can feel free to do that!Answered on 7/17/2015 by Pauline
Q:Is this product good for blemishes and acne scars/bumps? I don't have that many but I wish my face would clear up and I want smooth skin again. I've been getting bumps on my forehead and cheeks and I just don't think the oil cleansers are doing it for me.Asked on 6/29/2015 by Jackson
A:I think this product will be a good fit for your needs. Angels on Bare Skin is great for deep cleansing, with ground almonds to exfoliate, and lavender and rose help soothe balance out the skin.Answered on 7/4/2015 by Sal
A:I have no idea if you will get the results you want with Angels on Bare
Skin. I can tell you that it did help me greatly. I have used this product
for several years and it has slowly helped to clear my skin and make it
smoother to the touch. Do not expect overnight results. But for me, in time
I can see a noticeable improvement. I still do get the odd pimple or a small
break out but I continue to use the cleanser and my skins clears up quickly.
Best of luck.Answered on 6/30/2015 by kc_train from Kansas
Q:I suffer from rosacea. I have bumps and lots redness on my cheeks and although I've talked to the doctor and she has given me antibiotics and tropical cream. I wonder if this product will be to harsh for my oily, sensitive skin due to my rosacea?Asked on 6/25/2015 by Anonymous from Los Angeles,CA
A:Angels on Bareskin face and body cleanser was created for even the most sensitive skin! The rose absolute with reduce redness and the lavender oil will balance out sebaceous glands. Also check out our 9 to 5 cleansing lotion if you want a smoother texture in a facial wash!Answered on 6/30/2015 by Coley from LUSH Direct
A:I would think you would want to ask your doctor about using this product
since you do have such sensitive skin. Perhaps ask for a sample at your
local LUSH store or try the small size container with your next on line
order. Personally, I think Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser would be fine for
your oily, sensitive skin.Answered on 6/26/2015 by kc_train from Kansas
A:I have found this to be a very calming face cleanser. I have very sensitive skin as well and I did not have any issues with it being irritating in any way.Answered on 6/25/2015 by Anonymous
Q:I bought this product last week in a boutique and when I arrived home I realized that my container did not have a production date or a best by date on the labels. What is a good ball park time frame for this product?Asked on 6/23/2015 by Tiffany
A:It depends on when it was made. I would contact the store that you had purchased it from and inquire about when your batch of Angels on Bareskin was made.Answered on 6/29/2015 by Kels from LUSH Direct
A:Wow, you bought this product at a boutique and not an actual LUSH store! I
would have been leery that it was authentic LUSH. If it were me, I would use
it up ASAP. My thinking is it is already way past its expiration date hence
not being sold by LUSH. Having said all that, looking at my Angels on Bare
Skin production sticker, it says "made on 07 APR 2015 Use by 07 JUL 2015".
It was made by Adrian if anyone cares! LOL Hope I answered your question
for you, just ignore the other part if I misunderstood your bought in a
boutique.Answered on 6/24/2015 by kc_train from Kansas
Q:I love this product. LOVE. I have bought it tons of times. But I just can't seem to figure out how to use it without making a mess. Suggestions would be very much appreciated! I feel like I waste a lot of it dropping it everywhere.Asked on 6/3/2015 by Autumn from Los Angeles, CA
A:It helps to create a paste in your hand with a little bit of water so it adheres to the skin more when you go to apply it. It can be a little bit messy, but practice makes perfect!Answered on 6/3/2015 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
A:This is my favorite LUSH product as well. And I feel the same way you do, I
feel like there are days I waste a lot of product by dropping it everywhere.
For me I cup my hand so I end up with a small well in my palm. I then put
the amount of AOBS cleanser that I want to use with the water and make my
paste then quickly move my hand containing the cleanser to my forehead or
check and spread out in a circular motion from there eventually I get enough
product all over my face and I can use both hands to wash my whole face.
Some days I drop very little other days more but I am getting better!Answered on 6/3/2015 by kc_train from Kansas
Q:I recently bought this cleanser and I LOVE it! But I was wondering if this cleanser would be okay for removing eye makeup, specifically mascara.Asked on 5/29/2015 by gracie from Barstow,CA
A:I use coconut oil with cotton balls to remove the makeup, including the mascara, and after that I clean my face with this product.Answered on 6/30/2015 by Pri from Portage, MI
A:If you find it works to take off your eye makeup, there is no harm in using it as so. With that said, most people find it to be a little bit difficult and will choose a liquid cleanser like 9 to 5 or Ultrabland to do the job.Answered on 6/1/2015 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
A:Angels on Bare Skin cleanser is my favorite as well! I do not think it would
be okay for removing eye makeup. It has too many fine ground particles that
could get into your eyes and be painful and uncomfortable, in my opinion. I
believe LUSH recommends 9 to 5 softening cleansing cream to remove make-up
but check either in store or on line for further information.Answered on 5/30/2015 by kc_train from Kansas
A:Hi! I also love Angels on bare skin but would probably not use it for removing mascara because of the exfoliating consistency. I would not want to get it in my eyes! Ultrabland is perfect for removing eye makeup! I use that and then sometimes another cleanser after like angels on bare skin or herbalism! :)

Q:I can't decide what size I should get. If I used it twice a day would it not be worth it to buy the smaller pot? And if I bought the bigger one would I be able to use all of it by 3 months since its preservative free?? Also I haven't had a sample yet of this product but based off the reviews I know this product is for me.(: hope u guys can helpAsked on 5/27/2015 by Harshi
A:Using the recommended amount of cleanser twice per day, you will likely want to choose the larger size. If you give the product a try and it doesn't seem to be working out for you, you are definitely welcome to return it.Answered on 6/1/2015 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
A:I bought this product without trying as well, just based off the reviews and
Angels on Bare Skin is by far my favorite LUSH product. I use a little more
than their recommended pea size once a day when I wash my face and I go
through the large size a little past its best by date. Bear in mind, nothing
bad happens to the product if it goes past its best buy date by a day or two
or even a week but I wouldn't use it much past then. Based on the fact that
you said you wash your face twice a day, I would think the large size would
last you just find. You will probably go through the large pot long before
it expires. But you could always try the smaller pot just to see if you like
it.Answered on 5/28/2015 by kc_train from Kansas
A:I can use the large size in 3 months. If you've never tried it before, you may want to start with the smaller size to be sure it suits your needs. I love this product but my skin is at its best when I use an exfoliating cleanser. It's a very individual thing.

Q:i have blemish skin using ultrabland can i use this one want brighter face and smooth tell me what do lushAsked on 5/23/2015 by nina
A:Ultrabland is a great cleanser for blemish prone skin, I would follow up with our Tea Tree Water toner and Vanishing Cream to quell future breakouts.Answered on 5/26/2015 by Alexander from Lush Direct
Q:Does this help with acne? I'm debating between getting this, fresh Pharmacy, and herbalism. Which is the best for getting rid of acne and clogged pores??
Thanks!!Asked on 4/28/2015 by Em
A:YES! I used that one for about a year when I was having acne problems and
it helps so much. I noticed that doing it every other day or even twice a
week is better just so that your skin doesn't get used to it. And if you
see that the acne is coming back then take a break for a week and then
start using again because it is probably just your skin getting used to it!
Also everyone's skin is different so just because it worked for me doesn't
mean it'll clear you up right away.
CalliAnswered on 4/29/2015 by Anonymous
A:Yes, this will definitely help with your breakouts. Fresh Pharmacy is great for sensitive skin, but not for acne-prone, clogged skin.
Herbalism is great for oily, acne-prone skin, which I think can work really well for you. The kaolin clay and rice bran mops up excess oils and deep-cleanses, while a blend of rosemary, nettle, and chamomile leaves skin feeling fresh and toned. It's super gentle and moisturizing, the chlorophyllin, which is extracted from alfalfa plants contain many nourishing vitamins and minerals. This will work very well for acne-prone skin, because it will help clean it!
Angels on Bare Skin is really great too, but is more for all skin-types rather than just oily skin. Like Herbalism it has a kaolin clay base, which will deep-cleanse, while the finely ground almonds and lavender flowers gently exfoliate away dry skin. The lavender oil is great for soothing and balancing your face.Answered on 4/29/2015 by Pauline
Q:does this have an expiration date? if so, how long should i keep one and where should it be stored?Asked on 4/9/2015 by alaura
A:Yes, all LUSH products have expiration dates. I always try to use the
product by its expiration date but it is okay if it goes past by a week or
two. I store my Angels on Bare Skin in the shower where I use it daily to
wash my face.Answered on 4/11/2015 by kc_train from Kansas
A:Angels on Bare Skin has a three month shelf-life from the day it was made. It is best to store it in cool, dry environment where it will not come into contact with water.Answered on 4/10/2015 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
Q:Is the Glycerine Lush uses GMO Free?Asked on 3/23/2015 by Maj
A:Our Glycerin is soy based and coming from our lovely friends in Belgium! It is GMO free.Answered on 3/27/2015 by Kels from LUSH Direct
Q:I have mild eczema on my face. Would this cleanser help with that? or would another be better?Asked on 3/4/2015 by Izzy
A:I would recommend you check out our MOVIS soap or Ultrabland. Both are very hydrating cleansers that will leave your skin more nourished than when you started. Angels on Bareskin is very gentle, yet exfoliating, and the more gentle you are with irritated skin the better.Answered on 3/21/2015 by Alexander from LUSH Direct
A:This is one of only two cleanser I've used. Of the two, it's by far my favorite. It's very gentle on your skin while cleansing and exfoliating. The only reason I have a different cleanser now is because Angels on Bare Skin was out of stock when I need to restock! I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Q:Can I use this as a body wash?Asked on 2/19/2015 by Rinka from Wayne, NJ
A:You could use it as a body wash if you wish, I would suggest taking a bit of it in your hand and adding water so it doesn't get too crumbly in the shower.Answered on 3/21/2015 by Lana from LUSH Direct
A:No, I do not think Angels on Bare Skin would work as a body wash. It is not
like soap at all, it is dry and crumbly so I don't see how you would be able
to wash your whole body with it. Now if you had a small area that you wanted
to wash separately, I believe it would work.Answered on 2/19/2015 by kc_train from Kansas
Q:is the small size also come within the black pot or like a bar?Asked on 11/22/2014 by Jane from RI
A:Both sizes of Angels on Bare Skin come in black pots.Answered on 11/25/2014 by Serena from LUSH Direct
