Q:i have blemish skin using ultrabland can i use this one want brighter face and smooth tell me what do lushAsked on 5/23/2015 by nina
A:Ultrabland is a great cleanser for blemish prone skin, I would follow up with our Tea Tree Water toner and Vanishing Cream to quell future breakouts.Answered on 5/26/2015 by Alexander from Lush Direct
Q:Does this help with acne? I'm debating between getting this, fresh Pharmacy, and herbalism. Which is the best for getting rid of acne and clogged pores??
Thanks!!Asked on 4/28/2015 by Em
A:YES! I used that one for about a year when I was having acne problems and
it helps so much. I noticed that doing it every other day or even twice a
week is better just so that your skin doesn't get used to it. And if you
see that the acne is coming back then take a break for a week and then
start using again because it is probably just your skin getting used to it!
Also everyone's skin is different so just because it worked for me doesn't
mean it'll clear you up right away.

A:Yes, this will definitely help with your breakouts. Fresh Pharmacy is great for sensitive skin, but not for acne-prone, clogged skin.
Herbalism is great for oily, acne-prone skin, which I think can work really well for you. The kaolin clay and rice bran mops up excess oils and deep-cleanses, while a blend of rosemary, nettle, and chamomile leaves skin feeling fresh and toned. It's super gentle and moisturizing, the chlorophyllin, which is extracted from alfalfa plants contain many nourishing vitamins and minerals. This will work very well for acne-prone skin, because it will help clean it!
Angels on Bare Skin is really great too, but is more for all skin-types rather than just oily skin. Like Herbalism it has a kaolin clay base, which will deep-cleanse, while the finely ground almonds and lavender flowers gently exfoliate away dry skin. The lavender oil is great for soothing and balancing your face.Answered on 4/29/2015 by Pauline
Q:does this have an expiration date? if so, how long should i keep one and where should it be stored?Asked on 4/9/2015 by alaura
A:Yes, all LUSH products have expiration dates. I always try to use the
product by its expiration date but it is okay if it goes past by a week or
two. I store my Angels on Bare Skin in the shower where I use it daily to
wash my face.Answered on 4/11/2015 by kc_train from Kansas
A:Angels on Bare Skin has a three month shelf-life from the day it was made. It is best to store it in cool, dry environment where it will not come into contact with water.Answered on 4/10/2015 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
Q:Is the Glycerine Lush uses GMO Free?Asked on 3/23/2015 by Maj
A:Our Glycerin is soy based and coming from our lovely friends in Belgium! It is GMO free.Answered on 3/27/2015 by Kels from LUSH Direct
Q:I have mild eczema on my face. Would this cleanser help with that? or would another be better?Asked on 3/4/2015 by Izzy
A:I would recommend you check out our MOVIS soap or Ultrabland. Both are very hydrating cleansers that will leave your skin more nourished than when you started. Angels on Bareskin is very gentle, yet exfoliating, and the more gentle you are with irritated skin the better.Answered on 3/21/2015 by Alexander from LUSH Direct
A:This is one of only two cleanser I've used. Of the two, it's by far my favorite. It's very gentle on your skin while cleansing and exfoliating. The only reason I have a different cleanser now is because Angels on Bare Skin was out of stock when I need to restock! I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Q:Can I use this as a body wash?Asked on 2/19/2015 by Rinka from Wayne, NJ
A:You could use it as a body wash if you wish, I would suggest taking a bit of it in your hand and adding water so it doesn't get too crumbly in the shower.Answered on 3/21/2015 by Lana from LUSH Direct
A:No, I do not think Angels on Bare Skin would work as a body wash. It is not
like soap at all, it is dry and crumbly so I don't see how you would be able
to wash your whole body with it. Now if you had a small area that you wanted
to wash separately, I believe it would work.Answered on 2/19/2015 by kc_train from Kansas
Q:is the small size also come within the black pot or like a bar?Asked on 11/22/2014 by Jane from RI
A:Both sizes of Angels on Bare Skin come in black pots.Answered on 11/25/2014 by Serena from LUSH Direct
Q:I have pretty dry skin, is this more hydrating/moisturizing than "Let the Good Times Roll"?Asked on 11/11/2014 by Rachel from Minnesota
A:Angels on Bare Skin has more moisturizing ingredients than Let the Good Times Roll. Angels on Bare Skin is made with ground almonds which create almond milk when mixed with water and massaged on your hand. The almond milk soothes and moisturizes the skin while the glycerin helps hydrate it.Answered on 11/12/2014 by Rene
A:This face wash is extremely hydrating and moisturizing. I've been using it for over a year and I love it.

Q:About how long does a 3.5 oz pot last with once-daily usage? I received a sample in my recent online order and am dying to buy a whole pot, but I don't know what size would be best since it is a perishable item. For reference: I have been using a pea-sized ball once daily for 4 days now and still have about half of the sample left.Asked on 11/5/2014 by CaitO from Clovis, NM
A:It should be good for at least a month or two if you're only using just a tiny bit.Answered on 11/14/2014 by Anonymous
A:I have ordered a number of times and they usually last about 2 months. I
do have a tendency to use a lot though.Answered on 11/7/2014 by Anonymous
Q:Is this suitable for dry skin types? Or will it be too harsh and dry my skin out more than it already is?Asked on 10/22/2014 by Rachel from Minneapolis
A:Yes, it's great for all dry skin and for all other skin types, it is a gentle scrub that really works well to cleanse the face!Answered on 11/14/2014 by Anonymous
A:Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser is for all skin types so I would say it would
be suitable for dry skin. I have T-zone complexion, my cheeks are dry yet my
forehead, nose and chin are oily. I use Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser and
like it very much. It keeps my cheeks moist and my T-zone dry yet not too
dry. Hope this is helpful and best of luck.Answered on 10/23/2014 by kc_train from Kansas
A:I have dry skin. In fact my face was so dry it used to crack, flake, and peel. I started using Angels on Bare Skin cleanser along with Celestial moisturizer and haven't had any issues of dry skin on my face since. I highly recommend these products.

A:This product is absolutely amazing for dry skin. My face feels so soft and moisturized after using this product, that I've stopped using my face lotion for my dry skin. Also, this product lasts for so long that in the end you save money from not having to constantly buy facial cleansers and lotions. I strongly recommend it!Answered on 10/22/2014 by Anonymous
A:In my experience, this cleanser has been anything but harsh. Rather, it gently exfoliates my face and tenderly strips away the yucky residue that has collected there throughout the day, leaving behind ultra-smooth skin. The results of this cleanser show a marked difference from all other face washes I have ever used, which were cream-based. The cream was not very successful in ridding my face of gunk. But with Angels on Bare Skin, the texture is just grainy enough to pick it up, but not harsh in any way. I believe you need a little bit of exfoliation material in every cleanser for it to be effective. The results of this product are still unbelievable to me.Answered on 10/22/2014 by Anonymous
Q:Over time my cleanser has gotten wet and now has quite a moist texture to it. Should I get a new one and prevent this? Does it make it prone to bacteria and less useful for breakouts?Asked on 6/28/2014 by Savannah from Danville, CA
A:It is definitely important to keep the product free of moisture, simply because it does not contain any preservatives to keep it from spoiling. You should be able to see if it has spoiled, but if the texture and scent is still the same there should be no problems with using it in the meantime. Just make sure to prevent it from happening again in the future!Answered on 9/25/2014 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
A:Ideally the product works best when dry. I still used my first one after it had gotten wet and didn't experience any issues with it. So it's really up to you whether you want to waste the rest of it. Here are a few things I've done with my second container and the product has stayed just as dry as it was when I got it, (and I'm almost out!): never keep the container directly inside the shower, place it ideally outside of the shower and carry it in with you or place it between the shower curtain and liner, grab the amount you need before you get your hands wet, but if they are wet then hold the bottle at and angle and grab whatever is on top to prevent water sinking to the bottom. Hope this helps!Answered on 6/28/2014 by Anonymous
Q:Can I use this cleanser everyday , both morning and evening ?Asked on 4/9/2014 by philosophy from San Diego , CA
A:Angels on Bare Skin is gentle enough to use twice a day, so if it is working for your skin feel free to use it morning and night!Answered on 4/11/2014 by Anonymous
Q:I have oily combination skin...dry in the cheeks, oily everywhere else. In the summer, which is coming up soon, it can get EXTREMELY oily...should I use this cleanser rather than Herbalism or Dark Angels? I have pretty frequent breakouts and occasional redness...so far it has been pretty nice on my skin, as I got a small pot of it, but I'm not sure if a cleanser made for oily skin would be better. I follow up with Breath of Fresh Air (now I'm thinking I should have bought the Tea Tree Toner instead, somehow the salesperson talked me into buying BoFA instead because I said I had combination skin?) and Imperialis moisturizer. I use Grease Lightning on any zits. Anyway, I would like to know how this cleanser works on acne-prone, oily/combination skin.Asked on 2/23/2014 by Bethany :) from Raleigh, NC
A:Angels on Bare Skin is a really nice, gentle cleanser. If you're face gets oilier in the summer and you're already acne-prone, I might switch to Herbalism more regularly as it works really hard to reduce the amount of oil by regulating oil production. Breath of Fresh Air would still be a good toner choice as Tea Tree Water might be too drying if you have combination skin.Answered on 3/21/2014 by Kendra M from LUSH Direct
A:might i recommend mask of magnanimity, apply twice a week then follow through with angels on bare skin every other day. hope this helpsAnswered on 3/15/2014 by Cupcake from Miami, FL
Q:Does this product help remove acne scars and prevent future breakouts?Asked on 1/16/2014 by Skin-Crazed Sara from Phoenix, AZ
A:This cleanser will definitely help prevent future breakouts. The exfoliating properties of it will help a bit with your acne scars, but more effective products will contain fruit juices to brighten the skin and reduce the appearance of your scars.Answered on 3/8/2014 by Kendra M from LUSH Direct
Q:Is it okay to use this product both in the morning and night?Asked on 1/5/2014 by Ariana
A:Angels on Bare Skin is definitely gentle enough to use both morning and night so please feel free to do so!Answered on 3/14/2014 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
A:I mainly use Angels on Bare Skin in the morning, but occasionally use it twice a day without any issues. I love this product and see no reason it can't be used twice a day. It does not dry out my skin or make it oily. It is great for me! (I have dry skin and use oil free products)Answered on 1/6/2014 by Anonymous
A:Yes! I use this product as often as I want. It cleans your face without leaving it feeling dry.

Q:Will this cleanser get rid of zits/bumps, or does it only prevent future zits from happening?Asked on 12/8/2013 by Kingsley
A:It does get rid of your blemishes. However, it takes a pretty long time. I think you should use it with eroama water! Your skin will become so soft and clear!Answered on 8/16/2014 by The Little Mermaid from Sunnyvale, CA
A:This facial cleanser is designed to help minimize and heal existing blemishes as well as prevent future ones from forming.Answered on 2/26/2014 by Kendra M from LUSH Direct
A:I would say both. Well for me at least. I love this product so much! It was my first LUSH product. And I have to say it really does help with acne. I started using Herbalism and I though since I love both of these products and they're helping with acne, imagine both of them working together. So I mixed them both together and it really does help. But it also depends on what skin type you have. I have combination to dry skin and after I wash my face with Angels, I feel like I don't need lotion anymore. But I still do, I use Aveeno and this combo is amazing.Answered on 1/19/2014 by BrendaBabyface from Orange County
A:It helps to soothe irritated skin and clear breakouts for me.Answered on 12/8/2013 by Anonymous
Q:Can this help with acne? I know that it takes 3 weeks for skin to adjust to a new product. I have combination skin. My acne isn't so bad. I have small acne on my cheeks and Ive tried a lot of things to get rid of it but it won't leave. Any suggestions? Thanks!Asked on 10/6/2013 by BrendaBabyface
A:I've got to tell you, I've learned the trick with this product is to use it with the tea tree water. Angels on bare skin cleans your skin, then the tea tree water (which is an natural antiseptic) helps to heal the existing cuts or pimples. 2/3 of my face was covered in acne, and the existing pimples have disappeared, the open cuts have healed literally overnight, and I have not had any further pimples pop up. I've been using this product for 3 days!Answered on 1/6/2014 by Sarah the skin nut from Harrisonburg, VA
A:Angels on Bare Skin is a great choice for combination skin because of the ingredients it contains. The kaolin clay base deep cleanses while ground almonds gently exfoliate the dead skin away. Rose and lavender are added to soothe and help balance out combination skin.
Another product I would recommend is Grease Lightning Facial Cleanser. Our super effective spot-cleansing gel is effective for getting your skin back to normal. A gentle infusion of thyme, tea tree and rosemary cleans up problematic dirt and soothing aloe vera gel calms and hydrates irritated skin.Answered on 11/15/2013 by Lydia
A:I have dealt with acne all my life (I'm nearing 30). Angels and Bare Skin and Herbal is the only cleanser that really seems to help. I still have acne, but the difference is dramatically improved. I know it sounds silly, but after I started using this, I did have several friends comment on the improved condition of my complexion. Hope this helps! :)Answered on 10/8/2013 by Anonymous
A:I personally adore Angels on Bare Skin for my "light" acne :). I also use Fresh Farmacy, Vanishing Cream, Tea Tree Water and Mask of Magnaminty in my regular routine: my skin has never felt or looked better!! Good luck!

Q:Is this cleanser supposed to be really "crumbly"? I find it really difficult to get it out of the container and make it into a paste because it just crumbles in my hands. Is this typical, or is it just an off batch?Asked on 7/2/2013 by Anonymous
A:Angels on Bare Skin is typically a bit crumbly straight out of the jar, but once you add a bit of water it should become more workable!Answered on 10/4/2013 by Brandy from LUSH
A:Mine is pretty crumbly too, so I don't think it's the batch. What I do is pinch off a little bit of the cleanser and instead of trying to turn it into a paste (this never works for me either, it just gets everywhere) I rub the soap straight onto my wet face. I roll the cleanser into a little ball first so it doesn't get all over my hands, and I find this works really well.Answered on 7/5/2013 by Katie from USA
Q:does this product have to be refrigerated?Asked on 2/1/2013 by Dana from USA
A:Angels on Bare Skin does not have to be refrigerated- Just make sure to keep it in a dry, room temperature environment.Answered on 3/8/2013 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
Q:Would this product help treat blackheads and enlarged pores?Asked on 11/20/2012 by Carrie
A:Angels on Bare Skin is a great place to start. The kaolin clay reaches deep into pores to clean out the dirt that causes blackheads, and the ground almonds exfoliate to remove the build up that can also block pores. Following up with our Tea Tree Toner would be a great idea as it specifically targets blackheads, and Grease Lightning and Vanishing Cream contain Witch Hazel, which works to shrink enlarged pores.Answered on 11/22/2012 by Anonymous
