I was suffering with sore, sensitive skin that would also break out from time to time. I'd been using a harsh drugstore cleanser, and I'll admit that it was hard to adjust to Angels on Bare Skin because I made the mistake of associating tight, stripped, shiny skin with clean skin. I have never been so wrong. Since using Lush products, my skin has calmed down. I'm no longer red, sore, or dry. Here's my evening routine- I use 9 to 5 lotion to remove my makeup with a kleenex. In the shower, I use Angels (with my Clarisonic Mia brush). As soon as I get out, I spritz Eau Roma water on and follow immediately with Skin's Shangrila moisturizer. I alternate my morning washes with Fresh Farmacy or Ocean Salt. After just a week of using Angels, I noticed a huge difference in the amount of moisture my face held, and a reduction of oil that my face produced throughout the day. I firmly believe that the first step to controlling oil is NOT stripping your face of it completely twice a day.

I love the scent and the texture of this cleanser. I've previously used Fresh Farmacy but it dried out my skin. Angels on Bare Skin is gentle and fun to use. It does feel like it leaves a bit of a residue on your face but it gives my dry skin a bit of extra moisturization. I've found it's great to use before you shave your face.

I really love this product. Enough to write a review about it. I was new to lush and started with a bath bomb. After surfing through the Lush website I really wanted to try something for my face, which is sensitive, and almost always red. I have dry cheeks but oily T zone. I'm so glad I went into the store and asked someone before buying because they talked me into Angels on Bare Skin. At first it was a little confusing trying to figure out how to make a face wash out of the stuff, but once I got the hang of it, it was easy. I use this every night before bed, on make up days I take a cotton ball with the Rosewater toner spray and do a once over with that, then I do a few more spritzes on my face (the smell reminds me of the beach!). After that I put on the Celestial Moisturizer. I'm very nervous when trying new products for my face because I never know how my face is going to react. I did have a little itchiness the first couple of days, but now, almost all the blackheads on my nose are completely gone and the texture of my skin is so much better. My make up looks better and the redness of my face has noticeably changed and I do love the smell. I can't wait to try more Lush products!

I am so happy I got this product. It works well on my face as a daily cleanser and I will no longer use any other stuff. I do like the smell and find it refreshing. It wakes me up and my skin. I have pretty normal skin, so it works great. It leaves my face feeling soft. I love this product

I love this cleanser! Before, I'd been using this really stripping stuff. Then I realized that, duh, that stuff was hurting as much as helping. So, I went in search of a gentle cleanser, and you don't get much more clean and gentle than this. Super, I am getting more of this when I run out! Now, it is a bit messy, and can run down your arm a bit getting it to paste, but god does it work so well when you rub it on. Although you exfoliate, it doesn't feel abrasive. I will forever be thankful for the Lush staff in Chicago who introduced me to this.

I use this every morning. It is so gentle-I have never been able to use a scrub on a daily basis, but this one is made from ground up almonds, and does not scratch the skin like many scrubs. It is a bit messy-I mix it in my palm first with a little bit of water and then gently massage into my skin, and then splash my face with warm water to rinse. I use it in the bathtub because I got the scrubby bits all over everything when I used it at the sink. I am amazed at how well this prepares my skin for foundation. I have a glowing complexion now, and I used to have flakey skin around my nose and chin. All gone now! This is great with imperialis moisturizer as well!!!

Loving this cleanser! I'm still trying to get the "paste" part down, but other than that my face is super soft, acne is going away along with the red and blothiness. Absolutely love it!

I use this in the morning. My skin is so fresh, soft and even-toned when I'm done, leaving me so confident that I have been applying very sheer mineral foundation! I have sensitive, fair, normal-dry skin. I have used sooooo much skincare and this is by far the best. Been using for 4 days so I will update if anything bad happens but usually I have a reaction within 24 hours.

This is my absolute favorite LUSH product. I first started using this as a sample, but once I ran out of it I desperately needed to get my hands on some more. Needless to say, I can't go without it. I use it in the morning when I take a shower to give my face a soft, clean feel. I've tried other cleansers, but after those I feel the need to heap on extra facial cream (which makes my skin greasier, defeating the purpose), but with this one I don't. I've used it more than once a day and it's never dried out my skin. It's the perfect everyday cleanser for any type of skin and I will continue to use this product for a very long time. Angels on Bare Skin is a life saver and makes skin feel like never before!

I have been looking for this my entire life. First time I bought a cleanser from lush, and now Im a believer. Not only did it start to clear up my skin on the first try, but my face was so hyrdated and smooth. My face isnt as red or blotchy anymore. I wash my face with it in the morning and then I apply a light moisturizer. Perfect product. Why couldnt I have found this earlier!?

I have combination skin, so I wasn't sure which cleanser would be right for me. If I don't like a cleanser, I won't stick with it.

I went to my local LUSH and they told me about Angels on Bare Skin, and I'm so glad I bought it!! It smells great, it's a soft exfoliator, and my face feels so nice afterwards!

I recommended it to a long-time friend, who got a sample of it, and she loved it too!!

I am a face wash junkie. I have tried everything and was convinced I needed something with a chemical to keep my skin clean and beautiful. Wrong.

First off, you need to give this and ANY cleanser for that matter a few weeks to really judge it, especially if you are changing to an all natural product. Your skin is going to be confused, break out possibly a little, and needs to adjust to the natural ingredients. I get black heads, occasional random little pimples, and hard red irritated bumps on occasion. My face is also oily, dried out, doesn't know what it wants to do which makes finding the right product more complicated.

Angels On Bare Skin leaves my face smooth, completely washes off, and the best thing? It helps. My face occasionally breaks out because it is still getting used to it but overall I have noticed a difference in the texture of my face, the glow, and even how the breakouts appear. They are not nearly as irritated and are very minor.

I use this after I shower, before bed, great to use a small amount in the morning even to wake you up.

Did I mention its beautiful? You can see and feel the ingredients. All you need to do is put a nickel size amount in your hand, slowly add a little water while rubbing it into a paste, and dive in.

It is well worth it, and you can purchase this by the $ amount you can afford to spend. For someone who is just now coming around to all natural products, this is a top to recommend.

This is my second time reviewing this product. My first review was just after a few days of using the product. After a couple of months of using this product, I can truly say I can't live without it. I have noticed a change in my skin. It's clearer, moisturized, and my skin tone has evened out. I tend to break out along my jaw line and after using this product for a few weeks, I haven't had a breakout since. I absolutely love it. It can be a bit messy to use, but that doesn't bother me. The only thing that bugs me is the lavender pieces they put with it. I like the smell of lavender, but I would rather have more product and less lavender in the container.

I was a little worried about how to use this product in the shower but it is working out perfectly. I take a little bit, make a paste and wash my face. I am very happy with the results. I have an oily T-Zone and this really calms my whole face. I have large pores and to me it looks as though they are getting smaller. Do I dare say it even makes me look younger!?!?

I never used to take great care of my skin...it's just the truth. But I got really sick of breaking out and feeling like my skin looked tired all of the time, so I told my husband that for my birthday I wanted to go to LUSH and pick out some new items.

I started out with thier makeup, and could not rave about it enough! Best makeup I've ever used! But thats another story....

Shortly after I decided to add some other itmes into my routine. My skin has never been so smooth!! I bought the Cosmic Warrior fresh mask and the Tea Tree Toner Water as well. The Angels on bare skin was a little hard to get used to but the results are out of this world! I wasnt even going to buy it, but the associate gave me a sample and told me that I would fall in love and would be back within the week. She was SO right!

I use this at night before going to bed. It totally washes all of the gunk from the day off my skin and leaves me feeling clean and helps me sleep a little eaiser. I also bought the 9-5 to use in the morning - can't recommend it enough either.

Bottom line: LUSH knows what their doing, and their people know how to get the right product in your hands. Listen to them - you wont regret it!

This is an amazing product that lives up to all expectations. It makes my skin feel soft and smooth. It also makes my skin look finished and I am finding that I can wear less makeup now! It has reduced all my pores and blackheads as well! The only thing about this product is that it is very drying. But this is not a problem for me because I have a very heavy moisturizer. I will be buying again.
