Great gentle clarifying shampoo that cleans thoroughly and rinses out completely, smells like a fresh glass of lemonade! The bottle does recommend that it helps with Chlorine head, so I took it to the water park with me and tried it out. I did have to lather twice and heavily condition afterwards, but I didn't notice any weird pool smell on my head after using it.

I only wash my hair every other day, and I only use this shampoo every other time. I love the invigorating smell and it really works to cleanse and clarify my hair. If I visit a friend who smokes a lot of cigarettes, I'll use this wonderful lemony shampoo to rid my hair of the smell of smoke. I will continue to purchase the biggest size of this as I can. Very satisfied!

Not for dry hair. It strips out oil like crazy, so it's perfect for oily and thick hair. Goes great with Veganese.

This is the best shampoo! I use a little more than the size of a quarter (I have very long hair) followed by Veganese. I know this shampoo does the trick because I've used others with Veganese without such great results. My hair is long and wavy and my scalp gets oily quickly while the ends are dry. It smells great and refreshing, adds shine to my normally dull hair, and significantly reduces flyaways and frizz. It also doesn't dry out my hair like I thought it might. I don't want to wash my hair with anything else!

Really like this product! Makes my short hair very shiny, and smells like lemon candy (Jolly Ranchers maybe). However, my only complaint is that it's very one-note. It just smells like lemon candy. None of the pleasurable additional scent notes of some of the other products.

I love lemon scents, so I ordered a bottle without knowing much about it. LOVE. IT. I used to love Big but now I think my hair does much better with this stuff. I have fine, wavy hair that gets very oily at the scalp. I absolutely have to wash my hair every day. I also color it. So far it has not stripped color and leaves my hair shiny, bouncy and easy to style. My hair is chin length and I use about a nickel-size drop. Please, LUSH, do not ever discontinue this!

i use this in the shower every day and i love it! when i first smelled it, it was like a weird heavily lemon scent but using it in the shower is way better. i do use a good conditioner so i dont anything about it drying out hair. afterward my hair has a faint lemony smell, not too overpowering which is excellent. and my hair is somewhat shinier.

I bought this shampoo because I'm a blonde (color treated) that struggles with brassy and green hair due to my hard/well water at my home. The water of the shower & the pool always wash away my color. Needless to say, this is an AWESOME product! My hair is shiny, soft and as blonde as it has ever looked! I'm so happy with the results especially after trying other LUSH shampoos and brand name "purple" shampoos.

This is my first experience with Antiphilitron...and I <3 it!!! I was loathe to try another bottled shampoo after getting a rancid bottle of Rehab but wow!! So glad I did!

The smell is very fresh and summery and it lathers really well! Great shampoo for the Vegan in all of us!

I am used to creamy and smooth Antiphilitron, a pale yellow colored creamy/pearly liquid that always smells wonderfully like lemons. When I received my last order of the stuff, I noticed it was very different. I was shocked and very disappointed.

#1, it's not creamy anymore. It's best described as "gloppy." When it comes out it's gloppy and it falls on the tub floor, gloppy.
#2. It's not pale yellow anymore. It's a darkish yellow and much less opaque than it used to be.
Not completely transparent, but not a "pearly liquid" either.
#3. It smelled the same at first, and then when you put it on your hair, there is a weird "plastic" smell.

It seems to work the same, but the experience is not nearly as pleasant.

I got this shampoo from "Santa" this Christmas, and it has saved my life. I love citrusy smells, so the lemon scent is great. Not expecting much, I took a shower and used the shampoo. Before I even put the conditioner in, my hair felt extremely smooth. It was very easy to comb my wet hair, and once it was dry, my hair was soft, shiny and full of life! This shampoo is definitely worth the price if you suffer from thin, oily hair.

First the smell is like Zap! Pow! Bang! to wake your brain up. Then it makes me all happy and ready to face the day. It degreases my hair (as I have oily hair) and makes it light and fluffy. Just be sure to not inhale too deeply, because if you accidently inhale some of the shampoo it will sting for a long time.

Good god I love the smell of this stuff. It gets your hair squeaky and clean. I don't know if it has amped up the shine at all but a little will go a long long way. I have shoulder length hair and only need a dollop the size of a quarter~ It is so thick!

LUSH does lemon well and this is as lemony as it is possible to get. You need a very small amount because it lathers well, so the price is worth it. And nothing holds a candle to the smell. I wonder why they ever dicontinued this one? This has got to be one of my favorite LUSH products ever.

This product works great for me. Most of the time I use moisturizing shampoos and other products to fight frizz, but after a time my hair gets so heavy with oil and moisturizing agents that it stops feeling clean even after it's been freshly washed. I use this shampoo about once a week or so to get my hair back to feeling really clean again. It does its job without being harsh and without leaving my hair frizzy. In fact, my hair feels quite soft afterward. I also love the way it smells. Citrus scents really get me going in the morning!

The smell is really great, but it's very drying. I didn't particularly notice an increase in shine, but I didn't really like what it did to my hair anyway. My guess is this is better suited for folks with pin straight, thick hair. Not my wavy, medium weight hair. Oh, well!

Antiphilitron shampoo is ok but I definitely needed a good conditioner after using it. I love Lush citrus scented products, and this smells pretty good while you use it, but afterward I can't really smell anything in my hair.
