Like others, I have tried many different natural deodorants and haven't had much luck. I actually found one that worked great, but I could not stand the smell....even hours after putting it on I could still smell it on myself and it made me feel sick. I wasn't expecting much with this since I had tried so many with no luck. I wore it to work yesterday because I ran out of my regular deodorant and I was really nervous. I work in a hospital and I am mostly running around assisting patients, collecting labs, etc. So I sweat a lot. I worked an 8 hour shift and when I got home my underarms were dry and had no odor! I am so happy with this product! Some people might be turned off by the smell, but I couldn't smell it on myself throughout the day and no one said anything to me (I work in very close proximity with my patients and coworkers).

This deodorant smells SO good! Today is my first day wearing it so I don't know yet how well it works. I'll wear it simply for the smell though!

I don't love how "wet" it feels but I put my Lush body powder stuff over it and it dried it nicely.

I use this as my daily deodorant, combined with a sprinkle of coconut powder on top, and I love it. The powder seems to absorb most of my perspiration, and the combined scent of the two products endures subtly all day long. I also road bike, run and hike and these work great. I've tried a lot of other "natural" deodorants, and this works the best, by far. It is a little messier to apply than conventional deodorants, but the little bit of extra time is well worth it. I will buy this again.

I absolutely love this product! While it doesn't last as long as standard deodorants containing aluminum and other yucky stuff, it does last a decent amount of time. I will definitely be rebuying this product.

I am really liking this deoderant so far. I have been wanting to make the switch to a natural deoderant for about a year now and finally decided to try this. I personally think that the bar itself smells HORRIBLE... I actually hold my breath when I apply it because I can't stand the scent! However, once it is on my body I can't smell it at all, and it is 100% effective at odor control and is not messy in the slightest. While BO has never really been a problem for me, I still like to apply deoderant every day just in case my body decided to rebel and be stinky once in a while. I keep it in a plastic baggie to keep it from drying out (which it will if you don't).I hope this continues to work as wel as it has been for me, I would definitely buy it again!

I bought this not expecting too much out of it but I love it. It works well (you may have to apply again after a heavy workout--but that's the same with reg. antiperspirant too). I used for a month and then it broke me out a little (not sure if it was from this or the deodorant powder I put on after) but that went away. It smells great and doen't leave marks on black shirts which is awesome. It stings a tiny bit after shaving. I will buy this over and over.

Originally I loved this product. I thought that the scent was a tad bit over-powering, but when using the Aromaco in combination with the Coconut, it created a more subdued and lightly sweet earthy scent, which I got used to. I had used this product for about a week before one hot day - the day that changed it all.

For normal use at the office/desk all day, this is not a bad product. However, after I stepped outside in rather warm weather with a blazer I began to sweat. The sweat, mixed in combination with the Aromaco, created a most unpleasant scent that made me smell like I hadn't showered in days. And normally I do not produce that kind of odor! When I went to class that evening I had to facilitate a discussion. I made sure to keep my distance! I promptly returned the Aromaco.

The T'eo was a lifesaver though. The scent of T'eo does not last as long, but does not produce that God-awful earthy odor when perspiration strikes either!

I got a sample of this with my last order and I'm really impressed! Not too keen on the smell, but it smells much better when it's actually on my skin. Definitely worth picking up a bar!

I love this deodorant. I've been using aluminum free products for over a year now and I had the hardest time finding something that actually works. I live in Florida and around here it's pretty easy to break a sweat. Tom's deodorant was an epic fail. Left me smelling worse than if I hadn't put on anything at all. Finally I found Aromaco and I'm hooked! It lasts all day and smells great. I'll usually reapply if I'm going out at night. No complaints here! Great product.

This is a deodorant, it does it's job and that's fine. It lats all day for me and helps prevent perspiration. I don't notice any residue or anything, I just don't like the smell.

I have always used deo on my bikini area after shaving it to make sure there are no razor bumps down there... but using non-natural products down there is scary (and what if your boyfriend ... notices?)

Anyhow, this product is mediocre on pits (i smell like b.o. with a tiny scent of patchouli)
it is WONDERFUL on the bikini area! just smooth over (break off a seperate piece to use just for this to be hygenic if you like) after a shave and go. awesome awesome no after-shave itchies.

However, it does make my armpits a bit itchy - but hey, no big deal

This is an update from a previous review, I've been using Aromaco for about a month and a half now and I just recently started breaking out in a horrible rash. It actually got to the point where it was painful to apply.

At first I thought it was coconut but when I stopped using it the rash and pain persisted. I eventually stopped using Aromaco while continuing to use Coconut and the pain immediately stopped and the rash slowly went away.

I still gave this product 4 stars because before the rash appeared it was a great natural deodorant that was very effective at keeping me smelling fresh. I have now switched to T'eo and so far so good =)

After using many "natural" deodorants, I had given up the search. I actually received a sample of Aromaco deodorant with an order of BIG (which is such an incredible shampoo) and American Cream conditioner (also fabulous). I am a long time sufferer of STRESS SWEAT. I used to spend an unbelievable amount of money on deodorant and I would still feel paranoid of smelling. I AM A FIRM BELIEVER IN AROMACO. As soon as I apply it, I feel secure and the smell is so wonderful. Patchouli is one of my favorite smells in the world. If I'm working outside or out on the town with friends, I don't have to worry. If I sweat, I get a burst of the smell of Aromaco and I keep on going. It's incredible. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!!!

I don't "glow","perspire" or anything cute or even human for that mater. Oh, I'm also at that age where I have my own "private summers." I like to go out and dance, excercise and just have fun. I SWEAT, people. Pours like rain. I've tried virtually everything.Clinical-strength products, the crystal deodorant, and the one where you can skip a day. Puhleeez, when I was an adolescent, maybe.I was introduced to Lush some years ago, the Style section of my local newspaper. I went there and haven't looked back since. They've since discontinued some of the ones I first used. But, by golly this stuff works!! "Aromaco" is the ONLY deodorant I use for a night of partying. I did tell you I sweat, right? I do not smell, not even slightly. By the way, the best way I've found to apply this is to leave my armpits damp. It will rub on easily and slightly creamy.No need to use my fingers, unless I miss a spot, which rarely happens. Too much may cause stains, but I'm a bit of a pro with their deodorants by now. Was concerned about the patchpuli scent, but it fades, doesn't clash w/other scents. And as long as I don't smell like I've been working on the railroad, I couldn't complain. I needed and got the results I had thought I'd never find! Thank you Lush. Now, Bring back the other deodorants you've since discontinued. Please. do. it. ASAP.
I've introduced Lush to lots of my girlfriends and frequently give their products as gifts. This is great, absolutely wonderful!!

I. Love. This. Stuff!!!! I'd been considering the swap to a natural deodorant for awhile, but was swayed by the articles that I kept running across about the link between aluminum and Alzheimer's and whatever it is in normal deodorant that causes breast cancer. Yikes! So, I bought a few sticks from a few different stores. The first time I wore one to the gym, I smelled so badly that I actually apologized to the other folks at the gym that crossed my path; I was offending myself with my B.O.!!!! My mom recommended this to me, and I ordered it the same day. Got it, swiped it on, and have never looked back! I'm not super crazy about the smell at first (a little too much patchouli for me), but it seems like it adjusts to your body chemistry or something throughout the day; I literally smell better by the end of the day than I do at the beginning! Haven't really noticed any pit stains either...I layer the Coconut powder over the top. My only complaint is that it is a little rough to rub on the day after I shave my armpits, but other than that I can't recommend it enough!!!!

I perspire very easily and for a woman, it is not attractive:( For years I have had to stay away from silk shirts in fear of ruining them....I just got this a few days ago and it's my first LUSH product:) All I am gonna say is thank you THANK YOU so much for inventing this!!!! So I have been searching for a deodorant that would actually not keep me from smelling more than sweating. I am a person that sweats, but I would prefer not to smell when I do. I was very leery of the patchouli (which I can't really stand, due to bad memories of dirty people). Anyway, I finally decided to give it a try and I was pleasantly surprised. The patchouli isn't overpowering and even though I still sweat it isn't as profuse as before and there is zero smell. The bar has lasted me FOREVER almost a year! But my only gripe is that I have to reapply about once a day when I get home from work, but that is a small price to pay for all of the other benefits.

If I could marry this deodorant, I just might do it. It is amazing. And it smells amazing. Simply glide the bar across your pits for amazing smelling underarms all day. I can STILL smell it on me. As soon as I put it on my boyfriend told me how good I smelled. Did I mention it smells amazing?
Note: If you are not a fan of the scent of patchouli, or even slightly grimace at it, then this is probably not the Lush deodorant for you. The scent is quite strong, and you'll be able to smell yourself all day.

This is 100% without a doubt the best thing I've ever used for sweating. I have hyperhidrosis and have used EVERYTHING.

I've used every over the counter deodorant possible, I've used every over the counter doctor recommended deodorant possible, and I actually have prescription deodorant because my sweating WAS so out of control.

Out of desperation I was supposed to get Botox because I literally sweat 24/7. It doesn't matter if I'm active and on fire or asleep and freezing.

I became a fan of Lush when I moved to Seattle and decided to give this a try and it changed my life. The only downfall of the Aromaco is its smell, to me at least, otherwise it's amazing. I only apply it once a day and there's not a drop of sweat. I swear by it.
