I really love this product in that it is the ONLY deodorant I have ever found that doesn't make my underarms break out or have some form of reaction. Unfortunately, I don't like the smell of patchouli and it is pungent! My whole dorm room gathers a smell like the lingering scent of incense if I leave it out on my counter. Also, it doesn't last all day. I'm usually not a smelly person and my only activities are really walking to and from class and around town. I find that about 3/4 of the way through my day I can smell body odor from my armpits, which I never previously had a problem with. I'm going to try applying it twice a day now and see how that goes.
Even if I do have to apply it multiple times a day, I'm still going to stick with it just for the pure fact that my body doesn't have an allergic reaction to it like it did with all of the other deodorants I've tried.

If you really like patchouli and are ok with multiple applications I would say go for this product.

When I first got this product, about a month and a half ago, I wasn't terribly pleased with the scent... but after using it every day, I have come to love it! I find my pits are dry all day! After reading reviews, I decided to combine it with Silky Underwear dusting powder. It makes it smell less intense, plus it dries faster that way. I love that it is all natural and I don't have to worry about chemicals and such. Another huge thing for me is that it is lasting so long.
For those people who have struggled with hard edges on their bar, just scrape it off with your fingernail then place the bar in an airtight container. Voila! No more drying out :) I will NEVER go back to store bought deodorants! This is amazing!
Apparently it is good for foot odor as well, but I'm not willing to share my bar with someone with stinky feet lol

Dang this stuff is great. I refuse to use deodorants with aluminum in them, and I've tried so many different brands and methods of application. Seriously, Aromaco has been the best for me. I used it for a few months and then moved on to some other products and started STINKING again! Luckily I rediscovered this lovely deo and I don't think I will ever go without it. I enjoy layering it with other natural deodorants, and I also love using it with the Guvnah on really stinky days. All in all, a really wonderful and fantastic product.

Switching to natural deodorant always felt like the final Lush frontier. I am not a sweaty person, I spend 8-10 hours in the office and if I forget to use deodorant, it's not a crisis.

I got a generous sample of aromaco from the ladies at State St in Chicago. It smells beautiful for those of us who like the smoky piney scents like Jungle, the consistency is great and it goes on clean (that's right-no deodorant streaks on dark clothing!!) The sample lasted forever. The best way to apply it is right out of the shower when you are still a little damp, so the bar slides easily.

I noticed that the product dried out very quickly so I kept it in a zippy bag. Note if you are thinking of stocking up- a tin won't suffice. Put it in a zippy or glass jar.

Initially all was well. Around the second week I developed a rash uder one arm, and over the next couple of weeks the other side did the same. It wasn't painful or itchy, just unsightly. Also, the deodorizing effect only lasts if you don't exert yourself, be prepared to carry this in your bag and reapply if you go out for more than 6-8 hours. Reapplying really does the trick, but its impractical.

After 6 weeks I had to let it go. The rash wouldn't go away and thought the smell of aromaco is amazing, my smell would expire too quickly. Heartbroken, I yield two stars.

This product is so great! I have been struggling with finding a deodorant that actually smells good at the end of the day and keeps me from sweating..and I have finally found it! Obviously my body sweats..something would be wrong if it didn't..but I definitely don't sweat as much and when I do it smells so good!I found the best way to apply it is to run water over my finger and run my finger over the top of the product to loosen it up then I apply it to my underarms!

Like many others who reviewed this product, I have been searching for a natural (read Aluminum free) deodorant for a long time. I also perspire easily. All the products I've tried don't cover the odor after a long day. Now, I have to say that while I don't mind patchouli, it's not my favorite scent. This is a strong scent when you first put it on, but it does calm down after a while. It doesn't keep me completely dry, but it does help and I certainly don't stink at the end of the day like I would with other natural deodorants!! This one is a keeper for sure!
I keep it in a plastic baggie so it doesn't get messy!

I was searching for an alternative to conventional deodorants because I find them irritating. I have tried other natural choices that were not effective. After reading the reviews for this product I was weary about the smell so I went into my local lush--After making this purchase I dont see me searching again-there is no funky smell-I perspire less, issues? when I first purchased it I had to cut the outside layer because it hardened and didn't go on smooth at all. Also it will transfer to your dark clothes when you apply-like most unclear deodorants

Well, I love that Aromaco is a more natural alternative to traditional deodorants. It does take a long time to dry and it can be a little sticky until then, but it seems to work well. All of that is fine though. The only thing I cannot handle at all is the smell. Don't get me wrong, if you're into masculine scents, its perfect. However, it did NOT smell good on me at all so I will be passing it on. I'm sure it will smell great on my brother.

I think this is a great alternative to modern deodorants, especially anti-perspirants, but I don't like the scent and the scent gets stronger when my body is working harder. I also wonder how I'm supposed to apply it when it gets down to its last bit. All-in-all it's not a bad product, it's just not for me. I'm going to get the T'eo and see if I like that one better.

Im not one to use deoterent because i hear it alot of store bought deoterent have brest cancer causing cheamicals in it..so i would rather go around stinky or wash my pits but then i was introduced to lush and i wondered how could i live my life with out this i love this deoterent not only because its "safe to use" but also because IT WORKS! It keeps me from stinking and sweating. the only thing i do not like about this product is that ALOT of people hate the smell of it and i can understand why its not fruity or perfumy but once you put it on and smell your armpits it seriously isnt that bad.the smell dissipears once its on your armpits, i would go for it if you just want a normal natural deoterent

After desperately needing a natural deodorant (without crazy cancer causing chemicals), I was introduced to Lush's deodorant line. I did a little research online. Because I have very sensitive skin and allergies I was a little concerned when I heard about the rashes that some seem to be getting. My skin has never before been exposed to witch hazel, so instead of purchasing a large chunk, I went into my local store and asked for a $2 amount -just in case.

This product is incredibly cost effective. It has been over a month and I still have 3/4 of the original bar. I've had absolutely no problems with the ingredients. At times the bar is a little abrasive, but if I warm it in my hands or apply it to wet pits it's not an issue.

It doesn't stink, I promise. It's a little dank, but not in a bad way, it just smells mossy or "green". The smell was never off-putting for me, just something to get used to. I actually enjoy it! I'd prefer my underarms to smell like this instead of B.O. The smell lasts for a long time.

I recommend dusting silky underwear over it while its still drying, but any dusting powder will do. This works nicely on days when you might be sharing intimate space and don't want to bring attention to the deodorant.

I use this product after showering every day. I find it easiest to use if my pits are still damp or by quickly wetting the bar before using. I apply enough to get a slight white lather and allow it to dry before putting on my shirt (to avoid any clothing stains).

I have easily irritable pits and have tried just about every all natural deodorant on the market. The Aromaco stick is the best! The only thing that could make it better is some sort of holder, although that would create unnecessary environmental waste, so I'm happy to go without. Nice job, LUSH!

I love Aromaco, the first LUSH deodorant that I tried was T'eo and it dried my underarms out so bad that I had a rash for 3 weeks, and I only used it two days. I got a sample of the Aromaco to try, since it looked like it would be more moisturizing. I love it. It goes on completely clear and I've never had to rub it in. This past Sun it was rainy and drizzely aned very humid, I wore it to a rappell and zip event and it kept me fresh and dry the whole day. Prior to trying LUSH I had only ever used Mitchum for Women becasue I sweat very easily and so much that the Mitchum was the only product I could use that worked. I am extremely happy that I was able to use a LUSH product that is so much better for my skin, health and the enviroment but I didn't have to give up anything!

I have spent my whole life looking for something natural that eliminates my wet underarms. Lush you have done it! I am not a fan of the Patchouli smell but will wear this everyday for as long as you sell it. I can get past the heavy scent in the first hour because this product works. I can wear cute shirts now without pitting out in the first three minutes, and am still dry and fresh 7 hours later. Thank you! I cannot say it enough.

Im really picky about deodorant you cannot buy a womens deodorant from the grocery store that doesnt leave white marks ive tried like all of them and the only one i found was old spice for men, but my bf hates that i smelled like a man so i tried this and its amazing, no white marks. But after a few days it will dry out a little then you just scrape the side of it a bit and i goes back to being soft.

I may have the most sensitive underarms in the planet. I received a sample from this at a Lush store and decided to give it a try, and I did not have any irritations. My only issue was that even the small sample dried out before I was able to finish it. So, I ended up throwing it away.

First day with this on and I haven't sweated yet. I live in FL and it was around 90-95 degrees today. I was outside for about 15 minutes and I did not sweat (which is unusual with other natural deoderants, esp in FL). I find the scent very nice and not offensive at all. If anything changes I will write another review but I think thus far it is a great product! :)

I've tried many natural deodorants over the years because I'm very afraid of putting aluminum on my armpits. Unfortunately, none have worked for me(hint: I've tried the brand with a one-syllable man's name, and another one that is what gypsies use to tell your fortune).

I know that what works for some, doesn't work for others. I can't tell you it's going to work for you, but it definitely works for me. I even tested it's limits by not reapplying the following morning after a shower and hit the gym, and I still didn't smell! It goes on easily, with almost a creamy consistency. Doesn't leave white marks on my clothes, and I think it smells really good (although some may disagree and think it smells like a dread-locked hippie)

I didn't notice in the shop what a strong scent this has. I can't wear it; the cure is almost worse than the disease. I will admit that it applies gently to underarms still damp from the shower, and the scent seems really long lasting.
