This was the first LUSH product I purchased - and the only thing I purchased that day. I'm a bathtaker, but I'm very picky about what I use in the bath and shower. I have sensitive skin that breaks out easily, and I'm also allergic to many strong dyes. This, however, I found to be just perfect.

Not only is the smell AMAZING (I actually kept from using it for about a week because the smell of the bomb itself was just too amazing!) but it really does soften the skin - well, at least mine. Everyone's is different, and I admit it was subtle. If you're not particularly skin sensitive, chances are you won't notice too much of a change.

To me, the smell lingered perfectly, and was just strong enough in the bathwater to be present the entire time but not overwhelming. I do however, have a small tub and a very small bathroom, so that may have something to do with it as well.

So, it may not be for everyone, but for me? This is PERFECT, even after sampling other LUSH products. I maybe pick something new each time I go, but I also am sure to pick up at least one Avobomb each and every time. :) Well worth the money. Thank you LUSH, for making my bathtime all the more special! <3

No chemical smell like I get from some of the bombs! Just light green, lemongrassy, yummy smelling fizz. Simple and delightful! I'll definitely be buying this one again.

I tend to like Lush's creamy candy and gourmand scents better than the citrus ones but I love Avobath. With it's bright, zippy fragrance (it smells like Froot Loops to me) it seriously energizes me and there are no floaters in this so you don't have to spend time cleaning up the tub. The bright green bathwater this creates is fun looking and it moisturizes well. I don't remember how bubbly this is but with all the other advantages Avobath has, I don't really care. This is a great intro to Lush's bath ballistics.

I LOVE IT! grab this on a whim i just fell in love with the smell <3 its so fresh! i like that it isnt strong at all and it only slightly lingers :) my bath water looked like a sparkling green pond it was quite lovely to look at <3

Smelled great before I used it, but the smell was weak once in the tub. Not sure how long the fizzing should last but in my opinion it could hsve lasted longer. Not a bad product, but far from my fav.

This is by far my favorite of all the bath bomb products. If you love the smell of lemongrass and want to be soothed by the feel of avocado bits then this is the bomb for you. I literaly drive over an hour away just to purchase this item; I am that hooked on it. Some people find the scent overwhelming but I adore it. It smells just like it does in it's solid form. I know some bath bombs smell timid until they hit the water. With Avobath you smell just what you'll smell while bathing. My favorite thing about this (besides the emerald water and the skin softening) is that it is a scent that actually lingers on my skin. It lasts throughout the next day even. I love this product. :)

Let me start by saying that for the longest time I HATED avocados. I work in a fast food joint that, for the longest time, has tried to hop on the health food bandwagon and decided to include avocados on the menu. From there, I hated the gross avocado slop we served and anything avocado related.
I went into a Lush store a few weeks ago and the employee grabbed the avobath bath bomb and said it matched my pants therefore it suits me and I should buy it so I did (even though that seems like a silly reason to buy something) since it smells good and had a pretty color. I saved this for the longest time still scarred for life by past avocado experiences but finally I got up the courage to use it and I loved it. The avocado really softened and soothed my skin and the lemongrass was relaxing and perked me up. If you're having a bad day, this will help make you feel all better.
I still won't eat avocado but at least now I know it's good for something. I can't wait to buy this again!

I purchased this bath bomb after viewing it on the website a couple times. I was really excited because it was called an "Avo bomb" I figured this implied that it was mostly an avocado based product.

I would agree with some of the other reviewers that it smelled and looked nice but did not do much else. Relaxing, but not mosturizing, which I really expected this to be based on the ingredients.

My friend bought me a "Sex Bomb" and I found that to be much more mosturizing than this product.

I have no problem spending money on Lush products, but I don't think I'd go for this one again.

Avobath is great because it has a very strong and long lasting sent. I love lime and lemon smells so this a perfect bomb for me. It fizzes away quickly so that was a bummer but otherwise it was amazing.

this is just a lovely bath. it doesn't have many frills like the other bath bombs, which i don't miss at all as the scent is divine and lasts for a long time. it did wonders for my sunburned skin.
can't wait to get more!

I was super excited about this bomb when I bought it. The smell is light and refreshing. When I put it in my tub however the smell didn't last. The water was a pretty shade of green and my skin was soft afterwards. Just wasn't what I was expecting I guess.

This is the first bath bom I have tried. Recently I have been having issues with dry skin- everytime I get out of the shower I am itchy and miserable because it dries out my skin so much. I took a bath with this before I showered today and I have no itch! My skin is soft and the smell is very relaxing and calming.

I absolutely love lemongrass scented things, and it's not an easy fragrance to find, so I was pumped to discover the Avobath. This was my very first Lush bath bomb! The tub turned a great spring green color, and it smelled incredible. Wonderful, uplifting citrusy and earthy fragrance. The only bummer was that I did not notice any of the promised skin-softening effects. Still, it was a great bath, and a fun first experience. I would totally go for this bomb again!
