Q:Is it okay if I forgot to put it in the fridge for a day?Asked on 11/30/2014 by GC
A:It should be alright, although these fresh face masks are meant to be placed in the refrigerator as they are fresh made products and have a more sensitive shelf life then the other LUSH products.Answered on 12/3/2014 by Anonymous
Q:Why can't you let the mask dry out completely? What happens if you rinse after it has dried on your face?Asked on 9/1/2014 by PurpleDinosaur
A:An ingredient found in the mask can cause irritation when dried so it is best to follow the directions.Answered on 9/8/2014 by Kayla from LUSH DIRECT

Q:What is the life span of this product?Asked on 8/25/2012 by Ramyata from Dublin,CA
A:The fresh face masks have a shelf-life of three weeks. Each one has a sticker with the date it was made, the name of the person who made it, as well as the date it expires. It doesn't contain any preservatives, so it also needs to be kept refrigerated at all times.Answered on 8/28/2012 by Megan from LUSH Direct
Q:How exactly are you supposed to use this?Asked on 6/28/2012 by Tiffany from New York City
A:Apply a thick layer of the mask to dry skin. Leave it on for about 5-10 minutes (not long enough for the mask to dry or start cracking), and then rinse off. Some people cleanse before using the mask, and then tone and moisturize after, some people cleanse, tone and moisturize after using the mask, and some people skip cleansing altogether when using a mask! I personally cleanse after using a mask, to make sure that I have removed everything from my skin, but as long as you rinse thoroughly, it isn't a necessary step.Answered on 7/13/2012 by Laura from LUSH
Q:How long does it last and how quickly does it expire?Asked on 6/28/2012 by Tiffany from New York City
A:This mask has a shelf life of 3 weeks from the date that it's made. You can check the face sticker on the bottom of the pot to see what date your mask was made on, and see the best by date as well. Shops get fresh deliveries once a week, which means that you will have at least two weeks to use your mask once you purchase it. We generally recommend using about 1/4 of the pot per use, twice a week, to make sure that you use it in time (and that you get a nice thick layer of the mask when you apply it!).Answered on 7/13/2012 by Laura from LUSH
