I love bananas, so when Lush sent me a couple of slivers in my most recent package as samples, I was thrilled. I love it, its very luxurious and moisturizing, but it melts quickly unfortunately. My husband doesn't like the smell and it can be a lot, so you REALLY have to like bananas to use this soap. Its also a little annoying that it does not come in a vegan alternative.

This was the first Lush soap I bought over 10 years ago. I've tried almost all the other soaps since, but this one is one of my favorites. I always make sure it's part of my soap stash. Love the banana scent, and my skin feels so clean and moisturized after a shower.

i freaking love this soap! it's so beautiful and fun and happy and wonderful, i just can't get enough! i hope it's here to stay <3 it's sweet, sexy, slightly powdery and sophisticated banana, not kiddie banana. i wish there was a lotion or massage bar with the same fragrance, and i wouldn't even call myself someone who loves banana smells.

I love this smell! It is just like real bananas/banana nut bread. I just wish it lingered on my skin. This is my #2 favorite (#1 is Honey I Washed the Kids) soap. I will try Gumback Express next. Lush make more banana-scented products, maybe a massage bar, please! Love it.

I am in love with Gumback Express, so I had to try this. And yet again Lush amazes me! This product not only smells amazing but afterwards my skin feels amazing! The smell lingers which is nice because I love the smell as well as my boyfriend. All around lovely product!

I love this soap because it works perfectly as a soap and the smell is just lovely. It smells exactly like a banana smoothie. If you don't like bananas then this soap is not for you because banana is the main scent of this soap. I got it as a sample in the mail and tried it out and because I loved it so much I then went back and bought some just now. Lovely soap.

I hate artificial banana stuff. It usually makes me feel ill. I worried that this soap would smell the way that stuff does - but it doesn't. This is REAL banana and smells just like you peeled one and sniffed it. On top of that, it's ridiculously moisturizing. The only bummer is that it could last longer. (It's just that it's soft and doesn't stand up as well as some of the harder soaps.) I'll happily deal with that, though. It's just that good.

First of all, I love the smell of this soap. It's not a fakey candy banana scent, but it's the actual mashed up real bananas in it that you smell! Just soft, sweet, creamy bananas and it lathers beautifully. It really does moisturize and leave your skin feeling smooth, soft and completely pampered. If you want to continue the banana love, smooth on some Sympathy for the Skin lotion afterwards. You won't regret it!

Bought this on a whim because I wanted to try some Retro products that I hadn't seen in the Lush at our [@]. It does smell quite strongly of bananas, not just the fruit but the way the skin of a banana smells- that's about the best way I can describe it. I don't find it unpleasant... Not a scent I would seek out, but not bad at all.At first I was shocked at how yellow it made my washcloth, but it didn't stain my towels or anything thankfully. It also perfumed my whole shower, with the smell lingering esp. on the shower curtain. It cleaned well, didn't dry out my skin, and I felt soft all over. I also used it on my face tonight because my new face wash just isn't cutting it (not from Lush) and I was super oily- a little bit of Banana Moon went a long way and my face feels fantastic now. Not sure about long-term use on your face, but if you're feeling oily (it's getting hot for spring where I live, and my face shows it...) it cleans it right up.Honestly, the only complaint I have is it doesn't seem to last long enough! My bar now looks like a hotel-room sample soap and I haven't had it for very long at all.One last comment about the smell; it's not a traditional soap smell but I think it's good. If you really hate bananas you might want to pass on this, but I personally like how fun and funky it is.

OMG! Loved this soap! Fresh banana smell and lathered decently with a body pouf. I can't say exactly how mositurizing it was b/c after my shower I used Shnuggle and Sympathy for the Skin. The soap feels so creamy and soft so I'm sure it would moisturize just fine by itself.

I received a good-sized sample of this in a recent order, and I usually somewhat enjoy the smell of banana. This soap was a different story. There was an odd, unpleasant undertone that I can't quite describe, but I had an immediate aversion to the smell, and I tried to use it as hand soap, but the smell stayed on my hands for ages and made me cringe every time I caught a whiff... Eventually, I used it in the shower and tried to get it to melt as much as I could. There were small specks in the soap that acted as mild exfoliants, which I liked, but that was literally all I liked about this product. Definitely smell it in-store before purchasing.

I used this soap for the first time and loved it! I was skeptical of the banana smell but when I used it actually was not too overwhelming which was great! It felt natural and made my skin feel soft and moisturized, would buy it again!

It was my very first purchase from Lush and I have to say I LOVED it! The smell is truely addictive and I have to refrain myself from taking showers all the time.
I wish it stayed even longer on my skin but I'm sure I'd look stupid smelling my hands all the time!

When I first got this, I was disappointed with the smell, until I actually used it. When it's dry, it smells a little like rotten bananas, but when it's wet, it smells amazing! Great soap, I felt completely relaxed and clean. I used it all over my body, and it hasnt gotten any smaller, so i think it'll last a while!

I love anything banana-scented. I had both Gumback Express and Sympathy for the Skin and loved them both, but Banana Moon had only the faintest of faint banana smell to it. Mostly it smellt of anise, which I hate. I made it halfway through a shower with it and tossed it. I have a very sensitive nose, so maybe it's just me who detected a subtle fragrance that I hated. Or maybe just a bad batch.

This soap smells like you could eat it! It's definitely bananas for banana. I use body butters in the shower because I find that all soap period dries out my skin too much...but this one doesn't dry out my hands as much as others did.

I received this soap as a sample with another product and fell in love. I ordered a bar a week later and couldn't wait to jump in the shower with it! It smells delicious, but my skin felt very dry and tight when I got out of the shower. After 4 uses, it was almost gone. I also wished the scent stayed on my body longer, but it was almost gone as soon as I was done towel drying off. As much as I love the smell, I wouldn't buy this again, as it is not worth the money since it doesn't last very long.
