When I first opened this product I initially thought the smell was a bit sharp and was cautious about putting it on, and when I first applied it I looked at my arms and couldn't see any sparkles. But once you get a little flash of light these sparkles are all over!! I love how fine they are and that they're gold, it gives a classy sophisticated look.

When I look in the mirror my skin looks shimmery and amazing! It makes me want to save the powder just for special occasions, but every day I look at the bottle and want to use it because it just plain makes me feel happy!

The scent on the skin is light and lovely, not overpowering rose or sharpness at all, so don't let the initial smell out of the bottle fool you.

When I use it with a lotion it takes away the filmy residue but keeps the softness. I like to use it with the Mange Too massage bar because together they make my skin smell like a not-too-sweet frosting!

This powder is great after showering! I have been using it for 3 months every morning now, and I have always taken the time to apply it. Because it is a powder, it can be messy and time consuming to apply it everywhere, but it dries that "shower dewy" feeling and makes your skin feel smooth. It helps for your bra like you wouldn't believe. My batch had a balanced blend of glitter specks (not overpowering but enough to catch the light) so that wasn't an issue for me. The scent is a little light and a bit old-fashioned but that just made me think of drama period pieces, so not a bad quality at all. My only complaint is that the smooth feeling and the scent doesn't last all day for me. By the afternoon, I would have to reapply it if I was walking to lunch or meetings. Otherwise, it is a great morning or late night product.

I ordered this product expecting it to smell just like roses, but it has a citrus smell to it as well which pleasantly surprised me...maybe from the calamine in it? I also did feel that this powder absorbed moisture :) Though everyone else has commented that they didn't see or barely saw any sparkle/glitter I see a BUNCH! When I apply I see it everywhere that I'm applying it too... I don't know if its just my batch but... one thing I will say though about the sparkle is that it often falls from your skin onto the floor so my floor is not glistening :)

I love this powder! i'm a huge Silky Underwear fan, but the cornstarch in Silky Underwear makes me breakout. That's not the case with Bare Naked Lady, I can go naked with confidence now. This powder helps with underarm and shaving rash and any kind of sweat rash an athletic person like myself can get. It smells like amandapondo, but rosier, the scent is light, but just beautiful and long-lasting. Really great powder! Love the formula! I just wish Lush's other powders had calamine instead of cornstarch!

I use this product in a lot of different ways from freshening up sneakers, to dusting my face/body to keep from sweating on hot days, everyday use, and nights out. I ride horses professionally and (embarrassingly) chaffing can be a problem. This powder is a lifesaver, and is a lot of product for the money. Very floral and a little lemony scent, reminds me a lot of my mom, definitely noticeable. I bought this along with silky underwear (the LUSH product, get your minds out of the gutter), and while this is a great powder and does the job well, personally I'm more of a silky underwear sort of girl. I'll definitely still use this in my boots, shoes, to make my room smell nice, etc., it does make my skin feel great and really shines!

I was a little hesitant on dusting powders until I went to my Lush store and they used T for Toes on my feet (which I had to purchase) and then I was all for this one. What sold me was the glitter. It's not in your face at all. A few specks here and there that blend in with your skin so you just shimmer in the light. Then scent is light as well, mixing with the Rose Gorilla perfume fabulously.
I like to use this powder after I've shaved, for a night out or in the usmmer - like now - when it's too hot for the whoel beauty routine.

I purchased Bare Naked Lady powder, because it said it had a rose scent and a slight shimmer.

It sat on my counter for some time before I got to open it, and when I did - I was disappointed. There was no sign of sparkles, shimmer or glimmer - no matter how slight.

I shook the can, thinking maybe the sparkly stuff had settled. No good. I was still left with pinkish-white and zero sign of any sparkle.
I reread the description - yep, it said sparkles, though the reviews did say they were subtle and one mentioned that they were so subtle you had to look for them.

So, either Lush has changed the formula and not updated the product information, or someone forgot to put the sparkles in a batch.

Either way, I was disappointed, because otherwise, the powder smells lovely and feels nice.

I am 49 years old, so I need soft, not bright, products. I bought this to use on my neck area to soften the appearance of fine lines and some, yes, aging spots! I bought it because I like the look of subtle glitter & the description of the rose scent sounded nice, too. I have fair skin. This powder is super fine, like powdered sugar. Color is the palest pink. It blends PERFECTLY on my neck/cleavage area, leaving my skin smooth and softer looking. I guess it seems to turn back the clock a little. And the glitter is so minimal, I think it will be noticed just for a second, and then disappear. Just little pings of sparkle. It looked so natural, and so absorby, I tried it on my forhead because my forehead gets shiny. And PRESTO! it's lovely that way! I use a soft blush brush, over my forehead, nose and chin, it disappears, taking away the shine and leaving younger looking skin with just a teeny sparkle if the lights just right. This is my favorite new cosmetic item.

For ladies of a certain age, no matter how toned and fit, we have, shall we say, folds..., that are made infinitely more comfortable by a dusting of powder? This powder is so finely milled, so delicately fragranced, and so modestly sparkled. I feel feminine just dabbing it on.

I love using body powders and this product I especially love. A couple of weeks ago I bought the most beautiful Spring girlie silk blouse - on sale! I loved it so much I put it on immediately when I got home and then started making dinner. It wasn't long before I had OLIVE OIL on the front. Did I mention it was silk? Needless to say I panicked. I tried everything to get it out. Someone suggested powder so I ran and got my Bare Naked Lady powder and dusted the front of the blouse. The blouse is good as new and no sign whatsoever of the olive oil! Thank you LUSH!!!

I just used this product for the first time.`It's the first time I've used a dusting powder and I think it's really lovely.

I used it right after a shower. I normally lotion after showering, and I was worried that the dusting powder might not mix well with the lotion, or might counteract it, but I was wrong to worry! The powder actually worked really with the lotion; it took away the extra greasiness but didn't stop the lotion from doing its job.

I don't know if it's the lovely smell or the way it makes me skin all soft and smooth, but this powder had a very calming effect and me and made me feel sort of . . . cozy. I think it would be great for after a pre-bedtime bath or shower because it's so calming.

The smell isn't pure rose. I really can't put my finger on it though. It's very nostalgic and floaty and a little bit lemony.

One of the reasons I chose this is because of the glitter. I'm crazy about glitter! There actually isn't that much glitter in it - just a speck here and there. In fact, you kind of have to go looking for it. I'm a little disappointed but I like it anyway.

Maybe it's just me, but the packaging took me a while to figure out. I finally realize you have to sort of stab the perforation around the big tab . . . you'll see what I mean.

I used the powder by sprinkling it into my hand and then rubbing it on, but I think I'm going to look for a powder puff for next time. It's a bit messy this way.

All in all, I can't give it a rave review, but I really think it's worth a try. Personally, I think there are going to be more of these in my future! I liked Bare Naked Lady, but I'd like to try some of the other dusting powders next time.

This is a lovely rose fragrance, not overpowering, very light. What's most important to me is that talc is NOT used in this powder. The red and gold sparkles are pretty and not too excessive.

I'm not sure why, but when I got this (after watching for it to go back in stock forever) I hated how it smelled. It doesn't smell at all like the roses I thought it would. It smells like old hot dogs. Perhaps I got a bad batch or something, but I'm not taking any chances and repurchasing this.
