As an avid traveler, I have had the luxury of exploring many gorgeous Caribbean islands. It seems now that I have a permanent case of the travel bug. Whenever I do, I just drop in the Big Blue bath bomb and it is like MAGIC! I feel like I am on my own private Caribbean island with the turquoise water and the floating seaweed. Specifically, the color of the water reminds me of the Bahamas. It also smells AMAZINGLY refreshing and it leaves your skin so soft. Just recently when we traveled to Montreal, my husband and I just tried it together in our gigantic jacuzzi hotel tub. He said he never knew he could enjoy a bath so much!
This would be a great gift for yourself and your friends--especially if you're a beach lover like my husband and I are. I love, love, love this product. Thank you, LUSH! :)

The color is beautiful on this one, but the smell was pretty much nonexistent for me. Also, there is a good handful of black seaweed bits in it. They feel cool in the bath, but are one hell of a task to clean up. I recommend socking it if you don’t want to have to clean up. In my opinion, this one is best used in a combination of another bomb to get an actual scent!

This bomb is great for relaxing after a long day. At first I was a little grossed out by the amount of seaweed, but it's soft and full of nutrients for your skin. It settles to the bottom of the tub and didn't bother me at all. I will definitely be ordering more of Big Blue! It's the perfect blend of lavender and citrus.

This was the most amazing accessory to bathtime ever. I dropped it in and it immediately started releasing the scents of lavendar and lemon oil and wonderfulness. It turned my bath blue and after soaking, made my skin super soft. Need to catch up on some 'me time'? Get this thing and spend a while soaking.

I LOVE the Lush bathbombs. And I love Deep Blue. It smells great, and the first time I tried it, it was a gift so I wasn't expecting the seaweed. But it was a fun surprise! Yes, a pain in the butt to clean up but I always go into a bath expecting to be cleaning up after the bath bombs, so I expected that much.
It's relaxing, it smells great without being overpowering, I love the color it turns the water, and I love how soothing and soft it makes my skin at the end of it. Love this one!

Ok maybe I was to quick to judge this on my other review. I used it a few more times and i actually like it now. The smell is great and it does smell like a beach or the ocean only sweeter. I still don't know how I feel about the sea weed but I would still recommend this.

I bought this specifically to try the "Mermaid Water" one of the sales people at my local Lush store demo'ed for me. I was hesitant, since I wasn't really pumped by the smell of the bath bomb in store, but I gave it a try.
For anyone wondering Mermaid Water is when you mix Big Blue with the Sunny Side bubble bar. So amazing! I felt like a little mermaid! All my doubts about the bath bomb washed away as soon as it hit the water. I can't recommend this combination enough.
I didn't mind the bits of seaweed that came out in it, either. They softened in the water, and dissolved in my hands.

I have used Big Blue a couple of times. It is nice in the way that it smells like the sea but sweeter, and turns the bath water a vibrant blue color, and it is relaxing. However the sea weed is a bit much. Once it melts there is a ton of sea weed in the bath tub. I mean it's fine I guess but don't see how it enhances the bath. I could see it if it was a soap since I love the sea weed in sea vegetable soap, but for a bath it's kind of gross seeing how you have to scoop all the sea weed up out of the bath and drain after you use it. Which is unfortunate because I mainly got it to try it since Im a guy and big blue is pretty much the only bath bom b that smells masculine. Other than that one flaw it's pretty good.

Put simply, the smell is amazing. The color of the water was amazing, and it was fun. I don't take baths often, I prefer showers, but that made taking a bath super relaxing, and the seaweed made a nice touch. I love the ocean and the beach, and it just reminds me of summer time.

Definitely a nice bath bomb, smelled absolutely lovely... though the fragrance didn't linger on my skin. I would catch a whiff of it throughout the day from the scent in my hair, so that was nice. I didn't find it to be particularly moisturizing and can't speak for the usefulness of all that seaweed (a surprisingly large amount!) but it was fun to look at and splash around in. The water was a gorgeous blue color, it was like being on an island. I had no problems with residue or clogged drains. A really nice bath bomb, but not 5 stars!

I really liked this one. I felt like I was taking a bath in a warm ocean. I LOVE all of the seaweed in this bomb, and it smells so pretty. If you're concerned with all of the seaweed in this, then put a hair catcher in the bath or put it in an old stocking for easy cleanup.

This bath bomb reminds me of swimming in the Mediterranean Sea with it crystal blue waters and with the sea weed floating through the waters it seems like all you need is a snorkel and you're in scuba diving. An wonderful experience!

Just, eh. Not my favorite bath bomb. I was a little off put by the seaweed for starters. The smell wasn't anything memorable either. It wasn't a bad scent and it did go away and didn't linger in my bathroom for hours or days after my bath like other bombs I have tried. I didn't notice my skin being any softer after my bath. I wouldn't go out of my way to get this one, but I also wouldn't warn against it.

I did really like the Big Blue Bath Bomb and the scent lasted awhile. For some reason though, this wasn't really good for me because even though I like the scent I got sick of it quickly. Guess it just wasn't the match for me. Also, if you have really dry skin and/or open cuts, the salt will sting (that's what salt does). So that's another factor that makes it even more like the ocean. Minus the fishy smell.

I put this bomb inside a thin sock or a knee high stocking so I do not get the seaweed floating in my tub & leaving a mess. I was glad the sales girl @ Lush told me the seaweed would be floating in the tub & make a mess and i'm glad she suggested putting it in some panty hose, etc. I did, once the sock dried out the next day I turned it inside out and emptied seaweed into the toilet and flushed it away.
I loved the smell, how silky smooth my skin was, the color blue of the water...i felt like i was in the Caribbean! :)

I just got out of the bath! This was my third LUSH product, and probably my favorite. My muscles had really been hurting from a sports practice, and they feel great now! The water in my bathtub was a bright turquoise, and the little pieces of seaweed were a nice touch. Some people say it was hard to clean up the bath, but for me it didnt leave any residue and the seaweed went down the drain easily.

I originally bought this for my husband, who has eczema and dry skin problems in the winter.
I gave it to him and he loved it! He didn't want to get out of the bath!
I decided after it was such a big hit with him, to purchase 3 more, 2 for him and 1 for me because I loved the smell so much.
The sslt and seaweed are such a wonderful combination, the bomb fizzes away at a decent rate and the colour is beautiful, it doesn't stain the tub and the seaweed washes away really quickly. I can't imagine not having atleast one of these bombs in my home!

I always cut my bath bombs in half with a large knife, just so that i can get even more out of it! It still works just fine, it colors the water and smells amazing. Although these bath bombs are rather large, they typically only last through one bath. With any bomb, once it has been exposed to water it immediately begins fizzing and disintegrating. You can use it twice if you use a screwdriver and a hammer at the middle seam to gently crack it in half. This gives you two halves to use at seperate times... Just one, really. I suppose you could try to halve one and use it twice, but the bombs are crumbly by nature and I really think that the bath experience would suffer if you only used half. Be a little indulgent and drop the whole thing in! You will love it.

You can cut most of them in half before using them giving you two times the bathing! As a curiosity once, I took the Big Blue and ran a bath for my man and I. We used a full one as we have an oversized garden tub. Afterwards we left the water in the tub. The next day my husband drained about 1/3 of the water and added hot back into the tub and took another bath! The water still felt great on him he said and the smell was fantastic.
