My hair is a little less than wavy, but not at all straight. I plant to use this several times a week when I want to dry naturally, wear up, or curl. It made my hear voluminous and soft. It smells terrific! I've purchased this for my mother and sister who both have fine, thin hair.

Big Shampoo is my first ever Lush product. I waited anxiously for it to ship and I just used it this morning. I have been looking for something "dramatically different" to use on my hair. I am sick and tired of shampoo products on the market today and I have started to dread washing my hair. That all changed this morning. Big was easy to use, lathered well, and made my hair really shiny and soft. The smell is interesting, but it is growing on me. I expect I am just used to the overly perfumed chemically infused shampoos I had been using. Most importantly, my hair feels CLEAN. I highly recommend Big if you want something different. Drastic. Amazing. Thanks Lush!

I use Big about once a week for a good scalp cleansing. It is wonderful! I only use it on my scalp and roots area, using Irresistible Bliss on the rest of my hair. I found it a bit too drying for all my hair. I get good and wet and take just a big finger full and rub rub rub. I add more water as needed. It lathers well and gets my hair really clean and full of volume on top. It isn't frizzy. I smell my hair all day, it just smells very fresh and clean and even though I don't rub it into the ends, I can smell it there, along with the other shampoo scent. Mmmmm. I follow up with Retread, which I also use only with Big. The other days I use other solid shampoos and lighter conditioners. The tub will last me a year probably. My hair looks 17 again, lol.

I am absolutely hooked on Big. I love the mini-massage it gives my scalp and how it makes my hair look and feel. A little bit goes a long way, so one container lasts quite a while.

Big shampoo is no joke. I have thick, long-layered Asian hair, and it loves Big shampoo for the sheer amount of shine it gives it. Which is a lot. The amount of shine that Big shampoo gives my hair is actuallly noticeable. More shiny, than healthy hair, think along the type of hair you see flowing along in the breeze in a commercial for shampoo. I would laugh if LUSH did commercials (random, sorry). I personally don't have dandruff or limp hair (just normal hair), but I imagine Big shampoo would work spectacularly for those who do, especially if your hair is oily with dandruff.

Anyways, it feels good, smells good, lasts a long time, makes your hair look good, and everything is all good. Just buy it and see how you like it. If you don't like it, just dump the remaining amount in a bag, ship it to me, and then use the black pot it comes in to redeem yourself a free Face Mask. No biggie :)

The only thing is to make sure absolutely no water gets into the container when using it in the shower. Zip. Zero.

I tried this for the first time tonight and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to use. I read many reviews saying how people weren't getting a proper lather out of Big, but all you really need to do is lather it up in your hands before applying it to your head. A little goes a LONG way, so I'm expecting this bottle to last me for months! It smells great as well! My hair felt really stripped afterward so I just followed up with American Cream.

I have fine, oily hair that gets weighed down by most shampoos and hair care products. I'm always looking for new shampoos to help make my hair have more body. This is the first (and only) Lush shampoo that I've tried, and it typical Lush fashion it's very unusual. Luckily it works and gives my limp hair lots of volume.

What makes it so unusual is the texture. It's mostly sea salt, so it's really weird to get used to at first. However I find that I only need a small amount, and once I start rubbing it between my hands with some water it lathers up easily. Afterwards my hair feels light and bouncy.

The smell is definitely unusual. Very salty and beachy, but I don't have a problem with it. Also, like many volumizing shampoos, it will dry your hair out. I definitely don't use it every day, just a few times a week, but I prefer to mix up my shampoos.

If you've got fine hair that's usually limp, definitely give this a shot.

I don't write reviews ever, but I had to say something about this product. I have long, fine, really wavy hair, and volume is a big concern for me. My hair gets oily fast, and gets weighed down. This product has given me more volume than any other volumising shampoo I've ever used. Getting used to the weird texture and working up a lather took some time though. I love the smell of it. I use Veganese conditioner with it, but i hate the smell. I wish Lush would make a conditioner specifically to go with Big.

As a hairdresser my hair has been so over-processed that its now limp and dry BUT the day after I bought this my boyfriend actually said my hair looked "bigger" after one use! Coincidence....I think not! Thanks LUSH!

I am a convert to this shampoo. Been looking for a voluminizer for my thin, fine, and color-treated hair for years. Plus, I can't quit sniffing my hair! Smells fantastic! I also love the way it goes on - fun, chunky!

I've had severe psoriasis going on 5 years now and i've never been able to successfully replicate a healthy looking scalp my own from home and the only way i could is if i went to a salon and go my hair professionally done, so believe me when i say THIS STUFF WORKS! I love the fact that their products are fresh and organic as most products sold today contain mainly harsh chemicals and words that are uncommon to my dictionary, lol. I use this product in the shower as my every other day or so shampoo along with Superbalm and R&B. using all 3 products it does a great job at delivering moisture, reduction in flakes, and dryness. plus it also has a pleasent smell :3. honestly, i can sit here and type away at all the awesomeness this product brings but you can buy it yourself and experience it first hand! :D you'll be happy you did! i know i am!

for plaque psoriasis i use DREAMWASH & DREAMCREAM. the best over the counter results i've ever had!

I have fine, oily hair that requires daily washing. It's so straight and flat that I gave up using hair products to add volume because it was pointless. Big shampoo adds more body and shine than any product I have ever used.

I have long, thick, straight hair and have trouble finding a gentle shampoo that cleans thoroughly without leaving residue or completely stripping and drying out my hair. I use Big once or twice a week. I lather the shampoo in my hands first as the sea salt can be fairly harsh if not somewhat dissolved before working it through my hair. Big cleans thoroughly and washes out perfectly. My hair is left straight, light, voluminous, shiny, and soft. Big is by far the best shampoo I have ever used.

I absolutely love this shampoo. I have struggled forever to get my hair to have body and this is the best shampoo I have ever used. I haven't had an issue with it drying my hair out even when I use it daily and the salt doesn't hurt my scalp (I find it to be a nice massage) As for the price, it's worth it to me because one tub has lasted me a long time and it eliminates the need for any root boost or other volumizers. Make sure you have a nice thick conditioner when you use this.

It keeps my hair longer than any other shampoo. At first, it feels like you're just rubbing salt into your head, but it gets a good lather as long as your hands are pretty wet. I love it because it smells good and it makes my hair truly clean. I like to use it with its companion conditioner, which boost the shine and yummy smell. I LOVE BIG

After getting this as a sample a couple of times, I gave in and got it. It's truly amazing! I used it with Big solid conditioner and had tons of volume. I have pretty thick hair, but the hair itself is on the finer side.

I also found that the sea salt helps with my mild dandruff. But I don't recommend using it every day [I alternate with Seanik and Squeaky Green]. Also it doesn't lather up like some other Lush shampoos, but after a few uses you get used to it and it still gets your hair clean.

I was a little hesitant to try this shampoo, because I usually use Nexxus since it makes my hair soft. But let me tell you, I am in LOVE with this shampoo! I never blow dry my hair and even still, this product really worked! It definitely added volume to my annoyingly flat hair. I haven't tried it with the conditioner yet, but I use it with the Nexxus conditioner instead and I have had no problems with my hair being dry.

This shampoo does wonders for my fine, oily hair. I believe if you have dry or damaged hair this may be a little harsh, but it's magic for mine. My hair has shine and bounce that I've never had in my whole life. It smells great and works perfectly.

I wash my hair daily (yeah, I know, it's not a great idea blah blah), and this shampoo is my favorite. It smells HEAVENLY and lather so well. It feels great on the scalp and a little goes a long way. I haven't had any issues with drying out my hair like some others did, but I also use a conditioner after.
