I absolutely love this shampoo. It feels amazing to lather it in. The sea salt is exfoliating and my entire scalp felt tingly and clean after the first use. I wasn't thrilled about the smell at first, but now I think it smells awesome! Like a Margarita :) I did notice more shine after one wash, but I always add some conditioner to my ends because they tend to be dry from flat ironing often. I also saw volume. I think it is a combination of the salt and the overall cleanliness.

Okay, I confess -- after using this product, I was amazed at how thick and full of body my hair looked and felt. However, I am very wary of using sea salt on my hair. In fact, my hair does feel a bit dry today, especially towards my roots and in the areas where I used the shampoo yesterday. When I think about it intuitively, I simply cannot imagine how sea salt could not be damaging on hair. I have heard that it is great for cleansing the hair, but that it shreds the hair shaft. I remember my hair dresser warning me about swimming in salt water too much over the summer because the salt would damage my hair. So why make it the main ingredient in a shampoo? I would definitely not recommend this for daily use, but it does add a lot of body for special nights out.

I have long, thick, straight hair and have trouble finding a gentle shampoo that cleans thoroughly without leaving residue or completely stripping and drying out my hair. I use Big once or twice a week. I lather the shampoo in my hands first as the sea salt can be fairly harsh if not somewhat dissolved before working it through my hair. Big cleans thoroughly and washes out perfectly. My hair is left straight, light, voluminous, shiny, and soft. Big is by far the best shampoo I have ever used.

I absolutely love this shampoo. I have struggled forever to get my hair to have body and this is the best shampoo I have ever used. I haven't had an issue with it drying my hair out even when I use it daily and the salt doesn't hurt my scalp (I find it to be a nice massage) As for the price, it's worth it to me because one tub has lasted me a long time and it eliminates the need for any root boost or other volumizers. Make sure you have a nice thick conditioner when you use this.

After getting this as a sample a couple of times, I gave in and got it. It's truly amazing! I used it with Big solid conditioner and had tons of volume. I have pretty thick hair, but the hair itself is on the finer side.
I also found that the sea salt helps with my mild dandruff. But I don't recommend using it every day [I alternate with Seanik and Squeaky Green]. Also it doesn't lather up like some other Lush shampoos, but after a few uses you get used to it and it still gets your hair clean.

I was a little hesitant to try this shampoo, because I usually use Nexxus since it makes my hair soft. But let me tell you, I am in LOVE with this shampoo! I never blow dry my hair and even still, this product really worked! It definitely added volume to my annoyingly flat hair. I haven't tried it with the conditioner yet, but I use it with the Nexxus conditioner instead and I have had no problems with my hair being dry.

My hair is extremely thick and is even weighed down by how heavy it is. This shampoo is absolutely incredible. It cuts down oil, lifts my hair and gives my natural waves so much body! I just lather it in my hands before applying it to my hair. I use it daily/ every other day with American Cream conditioner and my hair is so soft and shiny and the health of my hair has improved SO MUCH! For daily use, I would say that a conditioner is necessary due to the sea salt. It can be a little drying. My boyfriend uses it once a week on his thinner hair (without conditioner) to remove any build up or dandruff and it works incredibly for him as well! GOTTA TRY IT!!!

Wooooow! I'm in love with this product!
I was a little hesitant at first to use a shampoo with grained pieces in it since I have a sensitive scalp but with one wash my hair feels amazing, looks amazing and is certainly full of volume.
The smell is gorgeous as well! I have average-thin hair so usually after a few hours my shampoo doesn't feel clean anymore. Not with this at all! A nice, lasting all-day clean feeling every time you run your fingers through your hair. ;)

This is an amazing shampoo, not note that it is VERY harsh and cleanses like a pro.
I would not suggest daily use because it leaves your hair feeling damaged and dry, once or twice a week would seem reasonable.
But if you want volumed hair and a great shine and scent, then this is your shampoo.

It is an absolutely fine product, I imagine, for occasional use. It definitely does what it says on the tin. My hair was huge after using this shampoo and the accompanying Big conditioner, and it didn't need any product after the shower. My hair didn't feel stiff, but it did have a thick feeling to it. My only problem with it (and why I will not be using it anymore) is that it is incredibly harsh on my scalp. The salt is large in this product, and they rub my scalp sore. I also found after using it for a few days my hair was actually dryer than I am accustomed to.
I really wanted to like this one, but my scalp just couldn't handle it.

I bought this shampoo purely on the reviews and I was not disappointed. First, I fell in love with the smell, so vibrant, citrus, and clean. It lingers through my entire second floor of the house for hours. It is a bit pricey but a little goes a long way about a tablespoon and usually last me about 3 months. I consider that pretty cheap considering the volume, shine and joy it brings me when co-workers comment on how healthy my hair looks. It lathers really well and I follow it with the a tad bit of the American cream conditioner- just on the ends and off I go. It is totally worth it!

The frequency in which you use this shampoo entirely depends on your hair type. Those with thinner hair that is quite oily could definitely use Big daily, but if you find that you dont need the extra oil-absorbing ingredients you may benefit from only using it every other time you shampoo. Definitely try Happy Happy Joy Joy. It left my hair very silky, more than I've ever experienced with any other conditioner. I was surprised at the silky condition it left my hair in because right after the shower and during the process of brushing my hair, my thought was that it was terrible because my hair was tangled completely but once it was brushed out my hair was shiny, silky, and soft the entire day.
