I have long curly hair- it has seen some abuse and has been dry and frizzy lately. The first time I used this product- I liked the idea and smell (not super coconuty, it actually smells a lot like american cream conditioner) of it, but found that little chunks would get caught in my hair (I rub the bar straight onto my hair). I learned that by applying the bar AND american cream conditioner (which wasn't strong enough by itself to help my hair)- the problem was solved and now I have awesome smelling and healthier hair.

I love this conditioner! I have curly hair so it needs moisturizing, but too heavy of conditioners can weigh my curls down. This doesn't weigh my hair down at all! It feels so soft, and definitely controls the frizz. It can be difficult to spread the conditioner around my hair. It's not as easy as the solid shampoos, but definitely worth it.

The Smell is GREAT!!! At first it doesn't feel as though you are getting any conditioner on your hair, so you do have to keep working it, but once you style your hair, you can feel the softness. I love the way my hair smells, feels, & looks with this product. This will become a staple product for me. I can smell my hair as I am typing right now, and it has been at least 6 hours or longer since I washed my hair :) It has a bit of a baby powder smell (to me anyhow). I LOVE IT!!!

A really nice addition to the solid conditioners. I had tried the jungle one and it was too heavy for me. The Big Solid was lighter and didn't weigh down my hair. The only drawback is it isn't cut to fit into any of the tins available so I have to make due with a bowl so it's not as portable.

I have very fine hair that tends to look very flat and limp. I've tried a lot of "lightweight" or "volumizing" conditioners in the past, but none have worked HALF as well as this product! First, it smells amazing, just like Lush's Big shampoo. It makes my entire bathroom smeel citrusy and clean!
The best thing, though, is how incredibly lightweight yet effective it is. When I tried it for the first time, stroking it done the length of my hair, I was a little skeptical--it felt like it wasn't leaving anything behind! When I rinsed, though, I could instantly tell that my hair was softer and smoother. When my hair dried, it was so shiny and health, but incredibly feather-light and full of volume! AND, the volume lasts for several days after I shampoo/condition--I usually only wash my hair 3-4 times/week or so, so that's a big deal!
I also love the fact that it's a solid, so no packaging and TSA-friendly. Between my Lush solid shampoo, toothy tabs, bar soap, body butter, and now conditioner, airport security is such a breeze--no more trying to stuff all those 3-oz. bottles into a baggie!
If you have fine, limp hair that needs volume like mine, I would DEFINITELY recommend this product! It's now one of my Lush staples!
