I used this for the first time last night, and I must say I am quite happy with it. The only way I could be happier is if it smelled different. It's not the worst smelling thing ever, but it has a pretty strong herbal/earthy smell that I can still definitely smell today even over my American Cream. They call it floral in the description, which I don't get at all. It doesn't lather which will take a little getting used to, but my hair definitely feels clean today. The lack of lather is definitely good for colored hair. You can tell when you feel it that it has bananas in it, the consistency definitely reminds me of mashed bananas which is kind of cool. Overall, I really like this product, I just don't really like the smell so it gets one star less.

Just got this today and what a day it has been. Began with Roots hair treatment. Fantastic!!! So, I almost didn't wash it 'cause my hair felt so good after rinsing Roots out. If I ever decide to follow the CO-wash/No-poo school of practice, Roots will be THE product I'd use. Anyway, there was some Blousey on the lid and my main concern was how much I should use. My hair IS short, but not enough is still not enough. Just using what was on the lid ended up being about a "finger full", a bit less than what you get when you scoop frosting or whip cream. THAT was the perfect amount. Wasn't expecting all the lather that I got due to it being described as gentle and with all the butters that are in it. The fragrance is amazing and if there wasn't a lathering agent in it, you'd certainly catch me heading for it with a spoon! After a weeks worth of styling and sweating, I only washed it once, which is typical of my use of LUSH shampoos. Almost reached for Retread when I remembered I'd thrown Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy into my shower caddy!!!
