This bubble bar is my go-to when life feels overwhelming and I want to escape to a fantastic Hollywood starlet style bubble bath. It does smell strongly of patchouli so if you don't like that smell, this one may not be for you. Also, it makes the water very soapy. For me, that's a feature, but some people may be alarmed by hitch hiking bubbles.

Wanting something to relax me and reduce my stress, I rushed into Lush looking for a bath bomb and a bubble bar. I have tried many many bubble bars before but nothing like this! It smells like incense, but nothing too strong. To me it has a hint of citrus to it. The name definately suits this product for it creates this sky blue color to the water and fluffy white bubbles which reminds me of the sky. the bubbles were upl to my neck! I couldn't find myself under the mounds of bubbles! That is something I always look for in bubble bars, I enjoy mounds of bubbles, this definately is the best at creating bubbles. The best part? I can get 6 baths worth of this bubble bar and not sacrifise the amount of bubbles... Definately hands down my favorite bubble bar. Go and try it out, you won't be disappointed!

I always was a fan of sweet smells but when I smelled this I just had to get it! I am holding back on using it though because it just smells so good and I love to smell it every day!

This bubble bar really makes your bath look like Blue Skies (blue bath water) and Fluffy White Clouds (white bubbles). I am a budget buyer but this bubble bar is a really nice splurge for when I want to relax. I have a small bathtub so I cut the bubble bar into fourths and get four very nice bubble baths out of it. Using half of the bar makes my water too soapy and I have to rinse off under the shower, so I stick to fourths. I put the lump of bubble bar in a strainer and hold it under the running bathtub faucet. Lots of suds and the smell is amazing.

Gray skies are gonna clear up, so put on a happy face!! This bath bar, is by far, one of the best bubble baths. It literally looks like the bath water is the Caribbean ocean, the bubbles are the clouds and you are floating in the sky! I only used half of it and it lasted a long time! The smell is a clean and refreshing smell, almost like you're in a meadow right before it rains. Use this bubble bar if you've had a tough day or if you want some sunshine in your life when the wintery gray skies have got you down. Enjoy!!

This is the best bubble bar that Lush has! I am not a fan of sweet candy scents, so bubble bars like the Comforter are not my cup of tea. This has a pleasant, fresh, relaxing scent, and it turns the water the most beautiful shade of blue! As with all Lush bubble bars, it creates tons of bubbles that last a long time. When I have used inferior bubble baths, the bath can be loud because of the the sound of the bubbles popping. It is like a contact chatter coming from the bath. Not with Lush bubble bars, the bath is silent and the bubbles last a long long time. One funny downside of this is that the bubbles obscure my vision of the beautiful blue water! I have to splash around and push the bubbles aside to catch a glimpse of that gorgeous blue water! The bar is also a good size and a good value, you can easily get three or four baths out of one bar.

I have tried a number of LUSH bubble bars and I have loved them all, but not because they have produced mounds of bubbles for me. I have an apartment bathtub with poor water pressure, so my bubble bars rarely result in mounds of frothy goodness and the bubbles that do result rarely last. However, I have found that the essential oils, the moisturizing qualities, and the ammount of bubbles they DO create is still enough to keep me coming back.

As I was looking for some serious relief to deep-rooted joint pain (in the form of a Geo Phyzs Bath Bomb) I wanted to find a bubble bar that woudl complement the earthy scent of the bath bomb and bring a joint-therapy bath to a less medicinal and more relaxational level. Blue Skies fit the bill and I was amazed at the results I go from this baby!

Per other reviewers' suggestions, I grated half of the bubble bar under running water using a cheese grater to get a finer consistency. The bubbles were overwhelming! It was fantastic! Extra bonus, they lasted the full duration of my bath (for a joint-therapy bath, that is over 1 hour). I don't know if it was the grating or the bar itself, but I LOVED the experience and am so excited to finally be able to experience the mounds of bubbles in my lack-luster bathtub!

As far as cons, I would note that the scent of this bubble bar is very heavy and heady. I enjoyed the scent and found it pleasant, but it definitely put me in a stupor after only a few minutes of deep breathing. This might not be a problem for everyone, but I have chronic migraines (on top of the joint disorder) and anything that opens the blood vessels in the head too much or too quickly can rapidly lead to some nasty headaches. I countered this by drinking a few cool glasses of water while I was taking a bath to keep my facial temperature down and that seemed to help. Again, it is not an unpleasant effect, but if you have problems with chronic headaches, I would recommend cool hydration in combo with this bar.

Overall, GREAT product. Made a very painful day into a bearable (even relaxing) night.

I was so happy to receive this bubble bar in the mail, but when I opened the package its smell overwhelmed me. The bar itself has a very very very strong smell that does diminish somewhat in the bath but not very much. I loved how big it was ( I cut it into about 5-6 good size pieces) and I was able to use it for a long time until I couldn't take its strong smell. It makes fantastic bubbles and crumbles/dissolves easily in the water. It also makes the water turn this beautiful turquoise/sapphire color. If you really really like patchouli and sandalwood and frankincense this is perfect for you. It was really a great Lush product, but the smell just didn't suit my tastes.

this was the first product they ever showed me in the store. it was so blue and smelled like rain. i broke it up and used it like 6 times with my bath bombs that didnt smell so great. I think i will always buy this just because it takes me to a happy place

When I need to contemplate something and slow my life down, this is what I throw in my bath. I cut it into EIGHT pieces and each one of those pieces more than lathers effectively. I LOVE bubbles, so I am picky about not having enough, and this doesn't disappoint at all. Even my boyfriend likes to get in the tub with this in the water, something I can't say about The Comforter. I can just lay back and think, with a clipboard and a pen nearby, and pretty much solve any of my problems.

This is my #2 bubble bar. The size is good--I get about 2-3 good baths in my huge, garden-size tub. The water is a beautiful blue, and the bubbles are fluffy and long-lasting. I like the scent, but I have to be in the mood for it--it's very "hippie" and not as sweet or girly as I usually like. I like to have my scents go together well, so I use the more masculine scents with this bath--Dirty springwash, Jungle, and Breath of God. It does dry me out a little bit but pretty much any bubble bath will do that--you could use it with a bath melt which would improve it--but I hate gunk in my tub so I never use those!

My favorite bubble bar. The smell is more frankincense than patchouli. I like earthy, and sweet fragrances. This delivers. It gives you blue water and clouds of bubbles. It also makes my skin really smooth. This is a good one for men too. Also, a little tip. Start crumbling right when the tub fills up for maximum bubbles.

This was an amazing bubble bar! I cut this bar in fourths. One fourth was enough! The bubbles were huge and frothy. I was a bit worried because in the package, the smell was a bit overwhelming. But, when I cut it, it was perfect! I definitely recommend this product!

This bubble bar smells so fresh and has lovely bubbles. It does look kinda like blue skies with fluffy white clouds in the tub! I get 4 uses usually out of one bubble bar. Very cost effective :)

This is the only bubble bar I've tried so far, but I definitely think this the best smelling one of all the ones I smelled in the shop. I'm all about anything earthy smelling and this has a wonderful, absolutely addicting spicy wood smell! But the most amazing thing about this is that I cut it into 12 pieces! That's right, I said 12 pieces! I have a combo shower/bath and I let the shower part run down to the tub so it's coming down hard and fast from the height of the shower head and I can get more than enough bubbles out of 1/12 chunk! It's not super strong smelling when I do it this way, but I'm pleased with it. It makes the water a really light blue and it feels really luxurious. I like that I'm really getting my money's worth out of it.

Anyway, this is a really dreamy pleasant smell for anyone who like earthy/woodsy smells and I definitely would recommend this to anyone!

This is my absolute favorite bubble bar. The smell is just fantastic, very pleasant and relaxing. One bar is big enough for two very bubbly baths. I've bought these several times before and will certainly buy them again.

I love this bath bar! I bought it since I have never actually smelled frankincense before (I always thought it was a spice-like smell). I bought a bar and to my surprise (and amazement) it was actually a nice woody-pleasant smell. It really softens my skin after working all day and it's nice to come home and relax with a softening, nice scented bubble bath. Note that I have broken my one bar into eight pieces so I can stretch the use. A small piece goes a long way, and make sure you fully crumble it in your hands before slowly adding it to the running water-that way you get ALOT of bubbles. If I would have smelled the bar in the store I wouldnt have bought this, but I'm so glad I didn't. It smells wonderful in the water and you get two+ baths with it with tons of bubbles and lots of color! I'll defiantly be buying this again, it looks expensive but you get lots out of it :D

I shave/crush my bubble bars to get better usage out of them. I did the same with this one and mixed a bit of the karma bar in with it and it equalized out the scent. I am not a huge fan of patruli (Spelled wrong lol) but if you mix this product with a small amount of another, it works perfectly. I am a HUGE Lushie and have tried most of the bubble bars and this one produces the most bubbles!

Oh man.. I can't say enough about this bubble bar!
Its easy to crush up and it mixes well with alot of diffrent bath bombs. It's perfect on its own as well coloring the water a beautiful sky blue and really lives up to it's name. The scent can be strong but not overwhelming when you get in the bath and it stays on your skin for a while which is geat.
I love this bar so much!!
