I have 2 in my shower. I love that I am able to keep my many delicate bath luxuries safe.. When I'm ready to use a new product I simply clean out the tin and pop a new soap or Buffy bar in. It may seem ridiculous to pay extra for an essential part of lush products, but these tins are long lasting and you can switch products quickly and easily as often as you like. Well worth the couple dollars to safe guard the life of your purchases

Also I love these for traveling no need to worry about products leaking or carry on requirements..I will cut a little sliver of my Buffy and a piece of my soap to fit one tin and I'm good to go!

I don't use this for Body Butter, I use it for my shower soaps. It is a life saver, it helps extend the life of your soap while being the perfect size and shape for me. When I buy a huge chunk of soap I just cut it down to fit inside and stick the whole tin in my shower.

This tin is so useful for so many of Lush's items. In fact, I use this for just about everything except body butters! Ha. I have my Aromaco bar in one, because I find that the bar dries out and gets filmy when not kept airtight. I also purchased T'eo, and it crumbled into a powder as soon as I used it. Luckily I had an extra tin on hand, and now I can just scoop the powder out of my tin! It saved that product for me. I keep Full of Grace, Aromaco, and T'eo in these tins. It doesn't quite fit Mange Too, but it will once it has melted down some. This is a great product for the package-free bars!

I love the Lush tins because of their clean design and practicality. It's even easy to open in the shower with wet hands and it's perfect to chuck into a suitcase or overnight bag. Plus, with strong smelling products like the Snakeoil my husband uses, these tins seal in the fragrance so that the whole room doesn't reek!

My only complaint about Lush's tins is that they all have a slightly ROUNDED top, which means that they can't be stacked; if Lush would correct that, then their tins would absolutely be a "Must-Have" item, but as they are now the tins are nice to have, but not necessary.

Perfect size for under my shower on the caddy. Keeps my soaps from getting soaked! And I don't even close it all the way. And the tin never gets warm even though my boyfriend likes to bath in lava! the tin stays cool and keeps my soap and especially my body butter from melting.

Holds my Lush soaps perfectly. I keep it in my shower caddy and it keeps the water from getting in and soaking my soaps! And I don't even close it all te way!

I actually don't use LUSH body butters at all, but this tin is a great size for other products I do use, namely Trichomania shampoo (one of the odd-size shampoos that comes in chunks instead of the regular little puck-shaped shampoo bars) and the Mange Too massage bar (which is more than 1 ounce larger than most of the other massage bars). I think this is the largest tin LUSH makes, and it's a great size. I just cut down my Trichomania shampoo bar chunk until it fits in this tin, and store the extra in a plastic zip-top bag until there's room in this tin for it. If you have a lot of trouble getting your shampoo bars out of the tin that fits them exactly, you might try this tin, instead, since it would give you room actually to reach inside and get your fingers around the bar instead of having to thump it out of the small tin.

I bought a Buffy bar today, and I love it, but I'm having a problem with the tin. Aside from the fact that it's pretty expensive, I've been having trouble getting the lid to fit right. I don't know if it knocked against something while I was wandering around the mall, if I got a defective one, or if I'm just not very good at fastening things; all I know is that, no matter what I do, a little corner of the tin keeps popping back up just when I think I've got it secured all the way around. :( It protects my Buffy well, though, regardless of the problem/defect.

Okay, so when I bought my first little square body butter, I was like, "Eh, why pay the extra $4 for a stupid tin?!" I have since learned my lesson. The regular size body butter fits perfectly in this thing, and makes it easy to transport anywhere or store in the shower. If you're anything like me, and consider Lush products to be a splurge, you'll do anything to make them last...there's nothing worse than watching your new pricey treat wastefully head down the drain. Give it a home. Lush products deserve homes. They want to goto their homes, where they can be safe while waiting in gleeful anticipation of the opportunity to serve you next.

If you're going to get a regular sized body butter, you NEED this tin! It fits PERFECTLY. It protects your expensive, already short-lived butters. Unlike the shampoo bar tin, you just turn this upside down and give the bottom a whack and your body butter comes right out unharmed.

Your butters need to be stored somewhere. This tin is perfect. People saying it's expensive kind of makes me laugh because what at Lush is cheap? And this can be used over and over again. You can take it right back to a store and put a new butter in it and spare the world the extra packaging it'd have to be wrapped in. It also fits a lot of other Lush goodies. It's a GREAT value.

got this free with the purchase of a body butter & massage bar (what a great deal) i love it. i dont have to worry about my bar at all & its good for traveling. the only thing is that the big buffy doesnt fit in here =/ oh well, it will eventually after a bunch of uses

This does keep your body butters dry and keeps them from dissolving so quickly... unfortunately, the bars sometimes get moldy inside the tin :( Doesn't even take too long (I skipped using the bar for 1 day and returned to find it smelly, yellowed and fuzzy.) <p>I washed out the tin with Pine-Sol and scraped the mold off my body butter then doused it with some chilled alcohol, then let it dry out for a day before closing it back up in the tin. I hope that'll be enough to save the investment.

Great product. Just wish it wasn't so pricey. It would be nice if all the massage bars and body butters were made either round, square, or oval (to fit in the tins). I can't fit my Mange Too in any of the tins, so it stays in it's little baggie.

I got this free with purchase; it was quite the steal! Body butters were 2for1; but that still counted as "two" purchases, and therefore got the tin free! I like not just randomly leaving my stuff out in the open - this lets me put it away in a drawer, and not have it get all over everything :)

I bought it to fit my Mange Too Massage Bar - doesn't fit yet, but I'm sure it will after we use it once/twice. For now, my Baby Face fits in there well, so I'll use it for that, for now.
Great product, but a little pricey.
