Cleanse your face and pat dry. Smooth a good dollop of Fresh Face Mask over your entire face, making sure to avoid the eyes and mouth. Leave the mask on for about ten minutes (do not let the mask dry completely). Now is a good time to read the latest LUSH Times! And finally, wash off with warm water and follow with your favorite toner and moisturizer.
Deep-cleanse and refresh oily, congested skin
Brazened Honey was inspired by traditional Indian Ayurvedic principles, which put emphasis on balance as the foundation to health. Fresh free-range eggs and honey soften, lime oil brightens, spices warm the skin and ground almonds exfoliate. Kaolin clay reaches deep down into pores to pull out dirt and impurities, leaving your skin noticeably brighter and fresher. Our deepest cleansing mask, Brazened Honey is the perfect way to revive sluggish or congested skin.
- Banish dirt and excess oil: Ideal for those with combination to oily skin, or those who want a deep cleansing mask.
- Can you handle it? Brazened Honey is very stimulating, so if you’re quite sensitive, we recommend navigating towards Catastrophe Cosmetic or Oatifix instead!
- Deep clean for your skin: We use ginger root extract in Brazened Honey to warm and cleanse the skin.

Q:How many days/weeks do you have before the product expires?Asked on 2/28/2014 by Dani from Tacoma, WA
A:The fresh masks are good for three weeks, and there will be a little sticker on the bottom with the date they were made, as well as when you should use them up by. I hope this helps!Answered on 3/19/2014 by Megan from LUSH Direct
Q:Can I use this past the expiry date? I just bought it and it expires soon.Asked on 10/21/2012 by angie
A:No, we strongly advise against using any of our products after their expiry date. The fresh face masks do not contain any preservatives, and thus they can grow bacteria, fungi, or yeast after the expiry date which would not be safe to have on your skin. It's better to discard any that's left after the expiry, and buy a lovely fresh pot. Your skin will thank you!Answered on 11/2/2012 by Megan from LUSH
Q:How many times a week do you use the mask for? Everyday?Asked on 2/3/2012 by Laugom from Chicago, IL
A:It really depends on your skin type. The Brazened honey is really stimulating, so if you have sensitive skin, you might want to only do it 1-2 times a week at most.Answered on 2/9/2012 by Community Answer from None
A:All our fresh face masks are designed to be used 1 - 3 times a week, depending on your skins needs. As only you know your skin the best its a personal decision as to what feels best, but I would not recommend more than this as the face masks are designed as facial treatments not for daily use.Answered on 8/30/2012 by Anonymous
