Deep-cleanse and refresh oily, congested skin
Brazened Honey was inspired by traditional Indian Ayurvedic principles, which put emphasis on balance as the foundation to health. Fresh free-range eggs and honey soften, lime oil brightens, spices warm the skin and ground almonds exfoliate. Kaolin clay reaches deep down into pores to pull out dirt and impurities, leaving your skin noticeably brighter and fresher. Our deepest cleansing mask, Brazened Honey is the perfect way to revive sluggish or congested skin.
- Banish dirt and excess oil: Ideal for those with combination to oily skin, or those who want a deep cleansing mask.
- Can you handle it? Brazened Honey is very stimulating, so if you’re quite sensitive, we recommend navigating towards Catastrophe Cosmetic or Oatifix instead!
- Deep clean for your skin: We use ginger root extract in Brazened Honey to warm and cleanse the skin.

Q:I accidentally left this product out in the shower over night. Has it gone bad now? It was out for a little longer than 8 hours.Asked on 5/7/2015 by RiRi from Bay Area
A:I likely wouldn't recommend using it. It would be like leaving food or a beverage that needs to be refrigerated out for 8+ hours. Always better to be safe than sorry.Answered on 5/15/2015 by Lana from Lush Direct
Q:Does this face mask Tan our skin. When I used it for the First time, it made my skin brighter. The subsequent use of this product tanning my skin(the second and thirs sets).
This is how I use it now.
1. I use it daily.
2. Mix it with water and apply it on my wet face.
will the above step tan my skin. Whats the general procedure to be followedAsked on 4/9/2015 by Anonymous
A:Our face mask do not tan the skin at all, however, you will likely notice brightening effects since they are very deep cleansing. It is best to apply the mask directly to the skin, not mixing it with water, and then wash it off after about ten minutes.Answered on 4/10/2015 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
Q:How many uses can you typically get out of this product?Asked on 2/3/2015 by Rachel Gregory
A:Typically you can expect to get about 3-5 uses out of our fresh face masks, but it depends on how much you use with each application. Since they're so fresh and only last for about three weeks, using them 1-2 times a week is perfect!Answered on 2/13/2015 by Meg from LUSH Direct
Q:I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin with VERY clogged pores. Would it be a bad idea to use this product? It seems to be the only one that's MEANT to pull all the gunk out of the pores, just massage and wash it off very carefully?Asked on 2/1/2015 by Ami from Topeka, KS
A:It should be fine just make sure to keep it on for the prescribed time, also to only use it once or twice a week at the most so it doesn't over exfoliate your face and cause you to break out.Answered on 2/14/2015 by Anonymous
Q:I'm dying to try this mask. I've heard nothing but great things and I feel like my skin needs this mask. However, I'm highly allergic to anything with "benz" in it. So the benzyl salicylate, benzyl benzoate and perfume make this product unusable for me. Is there a product you would recommend that would do the same thing as this mask or is there a way I could get it without the aforementioned ingredients?
Thank you!Asked on 1/6/2015 by Ash
A:Mask of Magnaminty doesn't contain any "benz" ingredients, however, if you are highly allergic I might worry about the slight chance of cross-contamination. While we sanitize all equipment in between batches, all of our products are made in what is essentially a big kitchen.Answered on 2/15/2015 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct

Q:Does this product have to be stored in the refrigerator?Asked on 9/14/2014 by Marie
A:Yes, all of our Fresh Face Masks need to be kept refrigerated.Answered on 9/23/2014 by Anonymous
Q:How many days/weeks do you have before the product expires?Asked on 2/28/2014 by Dani from Tacoma, WA
A:The fresh masks are good for three weeks, and there will be a little sticker on the bottom with the date they were made, as well as when you should use them up by. I hope this helps!Answered on 3/19/2014 by Megan from LUSH Direct
Q:Can I use this past the expiry date? I just bought it and it expires soon.Asked on 10/21/2012 by angie
A:No, we strongly advise against using any of our products after their expiry date. The fresh face masks do not contain any preservatives, and thus they can grow bacteria, fungi, or yeast after the expiry date which would not be safe to have on your skin. It's better to discard any that's left after the expiry, and buy a lovely fresh pot. Your skin will thank you!Answered on 11/2/2012 by Megan from LUSH
Q:How many times a week do you use the mask for? Everyday?Asked on 2/3/2012 by Laugom from Chicago, IL
A:It really depends on your skin type. The Brazened honey is really stimulating, so if you have sensitive skin, you might want to only do it 1-2 times a week at most.Answered on 2/9/2012 by Community Answer from None
A:All our fresh face masks are designed to be used 1 - 3 times a week, depending on your skins needs. As only you know your skin the best its a personal decision as to what feels best, but I would not recommend more than this as the face masks are designed as facial treatments not for daily use.Answered on 8/30/2012 by Anonymous
