I just want to bathe in this scent. It is so unique. I can't get enough of it. Not sure how to describe it but it's kind of woody/earthy I guess. Definitely not floral which I don't like. Love it, love it, love it!

This is the only perfume I'll wear! I absolutely love it! The rich earthy scent is calming and empowering at the same time, and it keeps me grounded and centered throughout the day. People who know me have come to expect me to smell like Breath of God because I wear it so frequently. The best part about it is that it's a gender neutral scent - Not overly feminine or masculine.

I am an ardent fan of everything and anything Lush. Reading the reviews of BOG had me intrigued and I just had to try it. The scent is overpowering when freshly sprayed on but it gets better over the day as the scent unfold layer after layer. It's long lasting too. Don't let the review deter you from trying the scent. Do try it on yourself and let the scent do its magic....the outcome is different for everyone and I am sure that you will not be disappointed!

It smells amazing for one. It is a very strong scent at first, a little masculine. Then it fades into an earthy, complex smell. It changes due to the wearer a little bit. My brother tried it and it turned to be more earthy than it did on me. To some it may give them headaches if they are severely sensitive to certain smells. I love it. I put it on whenever I want to feel more in touch with the world.

When I tried this in the store, I had on a ton of other products. It smelled good, the Lush worker said she smelled melon on me. When I got home and tried it, I wasn't convinced so it sat on my shelf for awhile.

Recently I've really been into Karma Kream and BoG. I wore it to the office (dr) the other day and got all kinds of compliments! With me, at first it smells more spicy (Exhale). As the day goes on, I swear it changes and turns sweeter (Inhale).

I got the middle size (small spritzer) which is pretty expensive for this amount. That, and the fact that I think you should certainly try it on yourself before you buy it, are the only reasons I gave it 4 stars. I love it. 1 spritz on my neck/chest and one on my wrists, and I find myself smelling my wrists all throughout the day. It's almost like aromatherapy! Calming yet somehow exciting. Never know what it'll smell like throughout the day!

A friend gave me a gift card at my baby shower, and I threw in some of this so I could spend the whole thing, despite not being real into perfume. Oh. My. Goodness. If Lush ever discontinues this fragrance, I will cry, I like it that much.

I bought BoG on a whim. I am sooo glad I gave into whimsy.

When first sprayed on my wrist, the fruity/melon/citrus does a great big slap across the face (at this moment I was thinking, Meh. Not a scent I like)But then it works its magic and the deeper notes take the stage. It is true, every sniff reveals a new scent. Sometimes I catch the melon, sometimes its the sandalwood. The tangle of smells do tickle the nose in a good way, and leaves those close to one sniffing the air to try and decipher where such olfactory seduction is coming from.

I enjoy classic scents like vintage L'interdit... things reminiscent of incense. BoG hits it on the head.

In a nutshell: Love it.

Normally I buy perfumes along the line of vanilla and cake/sweet scents. I like smelling like a bakery! Well I was at my local Lush looking at the perfumes, and absolutely lusting for them. I was intrigued by this one and Vanillary, of course. My husband came up adn I told him I couldn't decide. He had me pick a number and bam BoG it was! I put it on and sniffed it, and god it smelled so good! It is an earthy refreshing scent, with a good deal of spicy goodness. Definitely not my usual pick! However, as we were dricing home I kept smelling myself and fell in love. This is going to be my new go to perfume!

I am so happy I decided to stray a bit from my usual perfume, with a little help from my hubby. Definitely going to look into buying the individual Inhale and Exhale to see how they smell too!

At first whiff I did not care for this at all. It has a very strong, smoky top note. However once it calmed down I couldn't stop smelling it. Reminds me of incense in the best way. It's a very unique scent. Very unisex, I use it with more masculine-scented products.

OH WOW.
I went into a Lush store to choose a "perfume" for my boyfriend's Christmas present. After sniffing my wrists for a whole day, trying to decide between Breath of God and the Smell of Freedom, I realized that there was no contest. B.O.G. just smells like him, earthy yet enlightened...and manly, but not the bro-type.
I bought him the Waylander Rhassoul soap a while ago, and he was really drawn to the subtle, Earthy scent. This stuff smells like that, but with a little extra incense-like spiciness. He loves it, and I'm a little bit addicted to it as well, that is, I spend most of my time burying my face in his sweater to smell the stuff. Make sure you go into the store to try it first, because it's very unique, but don't be afraid to put it on your skin. It changes gradually over time, and it's nice to experience its reaction to your skin.

TRY THIS SCENT! It's like nothing I've ever smelled before. Gorgeous.

BoG is one of my favorite fragrances. It is such a beautiful work of art. It is the most complex scent that I have ever encountered--a kinetic blend of fruit, dry leaves, earth, and woods. I wear BoG when I am in a contemplative mood and want something interesting to smell that makes me think. Not the easiest scent to pull off, but one that deserves admiration and appreciation.

I walked into the Lush in Herald Square yesterday after work with the intention of picking up Lust (I'm Flying Fox obsessed), but after sniffing the samples in the midst of the insane pre-Christmas mob, I found myself curious about Breath of God (love the name, btw). I spritzed my wrist once and skeedattled, since I was not about to stand in line for 40 minutes. I will order online. Wearing the scent for the rest of the night, I noticed that the first sharp citrus and woodsy notes started to soften, then a definite bonfire/smoke scent dominated, then a much softer musky woodsy floral prevaled for the balance of the night. After about 5 hours I didn't notice the scent too strongly, but then I was in an enviroment with a lot of other strong smells. I will absolutely be ordering this. My new husband loved it, and I think it's an equally enticing scent for a man to wear.

I have the solid Breath of God, and the fragrance is simply incredible!!! I really notice the vetivert and the melon when it is on my skin, but the fragrance is very complex. I always get compliments when I wear this perfume. I give this 4 stars instead of 5 because the fragrance does not last very long. It fades after about 3 hours.

The first whiff of this fragrance is extremely medicinal. My mother and sister-in-law both said it smelled like an old lady. So you smell it again because it is multi-layered and there is that deep spice and woodsy,natural smell that is Lush. The intensity does wear down but will last. You will find yourself holding your wrist up to your nose every 10 minutes as you close your eyes tell yourself how much you love it.

Whoa... this perfume smells just like someone was smoking cigars in a used bookstore. It was just plain gross and I usually absolutely LOVE LUSH products. Sorry :/
