I am adamant about brushing my teeth multiple times a day. I wanted a product that I could throw in my purse and take with me. This product certainly fits the bill! After brushing, my teeth felt as smooth as the day I got my braces off! Impressed!

Admittedly, these taste AWFUL when you first chew them up, and they break down faster than you'd expect. That being said, I probably will never go back to regular toothpaste. Once you start brushing, the awful soapy taste turns into a smooth, semi sweet flavor that lasts well after you've finished. It gets the job done, and I can feel good about the ingredients. Definitely worth it.

I hate all kinds of toothpaste because they are either mint or that nasty red cinnamon or baking soda. Most toothpastes also hurt my gums and leave a foul aftertaste... but maybe I'm just a weird one haha. Anyway, I found this product while shopping for soaps, gave these a try and I looove them. They foam up into a lovely froth with a light taste of earthy goodness without the unpleasant tang of fluoride. I will be getting more of these. Thanks Lush!

I saw these at the counter when I was checkout out at my local Lush store. They looked like packages of gum, so I picked one up to see what kind it was and saw that it was actually solid toothpaste tabs. They didn't sound appealing to me at all, so I put it down. However, the cashier offered to give me a sample of "Breath of God" to try.

I was skeptical, but I figured there's no harm in trying it and who knows, I might really like it. Boy, was I wrong! I put a tablet in my mouth and chewed between my front teeth as instructed, but this tab had an overpowering strange and very unpleasant taste. If it was just a soapy taste, I might have been able to tolerate it, but this was so much more pungent than just soap. On the plus side, when I finished brushing, my teeth felt very clean and looked really polished. It also seemed to remove a bit more plaque than my regular toothpaste, though it did not get rid of it entirely.

Although I am pleased with the results, I am not going to be purchasing this product because of the awful taste. I might be willing to try one of the other flavors, though.

This is the first toothy tabs I have tried. I don't usually leave reviews but I just loved these so much, so I wanted to share my opinions. I was a little nervous to try these because I've never used a solid toothpaste before. But I'm going to make the switch now after trying these lovelies. I really like the taste, it's not too overpowering. I would say the licorice taste is pretty faint, but there's enough there. I don't get much of the vanilla taste at all. Breath of God is truely divine (corny, yeah) and I love the somewhat earthy taste it has. I would definitely reccommend to anyone that's on the fence about trying a solid toothpaste. Go for it!

So if you like that fresh clean feeling you get whenever you go to the dentist then this is for you. It has a sweeter minty taste that freshens your breath literally all day long. It's not like most tooth paste where after you brush your teeth you can't drink or eat anything because it will result in a nasty taste, with this you can eat right away without that gross taste. I love it.

First of all, after being pregnant and going through morning sickness four times I have a very strong aversion to anything minty. That said, I do love for my mouth to feel all fresh and clean. I love that this is a bit tingly but not spicy. The first tab I tried was exceedingly unpleasant, but after that initial one (maybe it was just a bum?) the rest of the tabs are amazing. My mouth feels much cleaner than it ever did brushing with toothpaste. I know that my breath doesn't reek and yet I dont have to gag through a mouthful of mint in order to get there. As long as you don't get them wet (this can be challanging in a bathroom) they will travel much better than toothpaste and of course they are infinitely cooler. This product is a must-have for me. And for [$] isn't it worth a try?

I didn't like it at first. I can't taste licorice or vanilla. I can barely taste anything. After I used it a few times I detect a note of sandalwood but I wish it was stronger.
Before I tried it I was a little apprehensive about a sandalwood taste in my mouth but now I actually want to taste more of it:)
Overall, a good product. Cleans well, polishes teeth nicely, I just wish the taste was stronger.
Also, these are the sturdiest tabs out of all I've tried. Others crumble rather easily.

I'm a fan of toothy tabs, and I'm a fan of Breath of God. But sticky chalking, foamy, perfume tabs in my mouth was a no go. It's great on skin, but I wouldn't recommend it for your teeth

I was really excited to give this product a try- I think it's a great idea and seems like it would be more effective than toothpaste! As far as cleaning my teeth goes, it did the job. However, the taste made it not worth it.
The main flavor is salt, with an aftertaste of awkwardness. I really can't think how to explain it, all I know is as soon as I chewed it up, I wanted it out of my mouth. It may be a fun and potentially more effective way of cleaning your teeth, but it's simply not worth it

I couldn't wait for the UPS guy to get this here. It was already evening so this is the flavor I tried ( I also purchased the Atomic and Aquatic). After reading the mixed reviews, I left myself open for whatever experience. The tabs were smaller than I anticipated, lighter brown than I expected. When I emptied a tab into my palm, a few crumbles also fell. Hmm. Must be careful with these boxes, I see. I popped a tab and a half in my mouth and chewed it up to get ready to brush. Hey. These aren't as hard as I thought they would be, either. Nice. I enjoyed the brushing experience because regular toothpaste burns my mouth (literally burns a layer off-so gross). I love this stuff. But, can you please pack these tight in a tin? Tightly to protect from transport damage. Anyway, I kissed my hubs after and asked what did he think. "huh? Clean" sheesh, Babe. Bucket of adjectives, you are.

This is more convenient to me than a paste. Also, I only use a half a tab at a time and it's plenty! The only thing I don't care for is that sometimes if the chunks aren't broken up enough, leftover pieces end up in my toothbrush. It's not hard to clean out but it's just a minor inconvenience. That's the only reason I didn't give this item 5 stars.

I really like the Toothy Tabs. I've been using them for three weeks now and I think my teeth are cleaner and whiter than ever. I love the way they make my mouth feel and taste after brushing. Even my 12 year old daughter tried one and she said it made her teeth look a shade whiter, although she didn't like the taste. I do, however. It's not strong, but it is an effective breath freshener. The only con is that it never completely dissolves as I brush and I end up spitting out chunks of it in the sink, which is kinda gross since they're brown, but I've learned ot overlook that. I've also tried Sparkle and I don't like the taste as much, but it dissolves perfectly and foams a little better, too. If only I could combine the pros of each one...

I bought these to satisfy my curiosity and I am very pleased that I did. I used this product for the first time today and I am impressed! The taste was different (Breath of God) - I thought it was strong and a little bitter - but decided to ignore it because it is a new concept for me and shouldn't be held to my old standards. But here it is 3 hours later and my mouth still feels and, more importantly, still smells fresh. I also bought Sparkle and Aquatic - can't wait to try those out :)

I love to brush with this before bedtime! It has a mild vaguely sweet taste and my breath smells absolutely wonderful afterwards. I imagine this would be great for kissing sessions. If you're not used to brushing with baking soda the taste will seem weird to some but your tastebuds will probably adjust fairly quickly. This product leaves my mouth feeling much cleaner than regular toothpaste with no funny aftertaste!

It's the only thing I HATE from Lush! It really sucks :/ It tastes bad, feels bad and smells terrible. My boyfriend did hate my breath after I tried one.
They should discontinue this!

I was initially facinated by the concept of "unconventional" toothpaste.
I find the flavor really intense when I first nibble the Toothy Tab, but it mellows out once I start brushing. The vanilla undertones make it pleasant. I noticed my teeth actually look a little brighter too!
