This is one of the first products I ever purchased from Lush. I saw a review on a haul I was watching on YouTube.
The fall/winter months are the worst time for my poor pucker. I have 2 jobs and do freelance makeup work as one of them so I do my makeup every day before work and I'm constantly re-applying lipstick or gloss which dries out lips even more. When I was at the checkout counter at my Seattle Lush, these caught my eye right as the girl at the counter suggested them (which is the point and it seems as though many others saw them this way too lol)I was so excited to have found them after wanting to try it for so long.
Technically you're not supposed to exfoliate every day, especially your delicate lip tissue, but if I could, I would!I was hoooked from first use! The feeling of how SOFT and HEALTHY your lips feel after one short use is ADDICTING!! I honestly couldn't remember my lips ever feeling that smooth and nice. Lipbalm and Lipstick apply like a DREAM on such an amazing surface and it's all thanks to this product.
The little tub has lasted FOREVER since you only need a finger tip worth to scrub in cirular motions and concentrate on the corners and middle below the cupids bow on top and bottom. Plus, It's freakin' Bubblegum, my favorite flavor in the world. And however gross it may seem to thereafter lick the scrub with your dead skin off your mouth (Ew!), ALL of us do it. And that is why I labled this: Guilty Pleasure.
Now it's right next to all my other beauty essentials on the vanity counter! My "hall of beauty fame", if you will. I'm not a fan of clutter, or having products out, only a few make it on 'The Counter', and thats one of them, alongside Angels on Bare Skin.
Thank you Lush for yet another wonderful product! The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is its consistancy. I've made my own lipscrub from organic suger, olive oil and vanilla extract(for taste and smell) and just wish this was a little more "goopey" to scoop out and stick to the skin easier, which the olive oil does when a few drops are added :)

I heard a lot of good things about their lip scrubs and since there were a bunch conveniently by the register at checkout I picked one up. I thought the bubblegum would smell great/sweet and was fun. This scrub is good and works well as far as exfoliation goes but I am not loving the scent/taste. This does not at all remind me of bubblegum but moreso of a medicinal cough syrup taste. I do wish that this was more of a wet sand texture where the scrub stayed together better. The grains of sugar seem to easily separate and it is hard to pick up and out of the jar. I often times lose some into the sink. I may try a different flavor in the future but tweaking the formula would allow you to not waste product during application.

I bought this because I live in Baltimore and the winter dries out my lips and I just have chapped lips in general. I am not really a bubble gummy kind of person but to be honest I didnt really like the taste of the other lip scrubs. I also was really surprised that I would like the taste but I do! This product really works and leaves my lips soft and smooth. I just use whatever chapstick I have because I don't have one from lush yet but I would recumbend using chapstick after using the lip scrub. Also you get a pretty decent sized jar for your money. I have used this so many times and have barely made a dent in it!!! I would defiantly recommend this to someone who has chapped lips!

This is my favorite Lush lip scrub! My lipstend to get chapped in cold or dry weather, and get that peeling skin on them. This scrub exfoliates and removes that skin without leaving your lips raw, and the oils protect the new skin from more chapping.
The bubblegum flavor is strong, and best suited to users with a sweet tooth.

Yes, it is easy to drop while you scoop it up. But if you take a pinch of it and spread it carefully on your lips, you'll do just fine. It really tastes like bubblegum, and I love licking it away after applications. Best of all, it leaves subtle color AND my lips feel so soft afterwards. Can be used with or without gloss beforehand. I carry this with me everywhere! Pricey, but you only need a little bit at a time so this should last long enough anyway!

This was one of the first things I ever purchased from Lush! I attempted to try it out in the store and found that it had a sand-like consistency, which I initially did not like. I purchased a jar anyway, though, because I liked the scent and flavor! I had a friend tell me that if you add a tiny bit of oil to the jar, it will help solidify it a bit. I was afraid of adding too much oil, so I didn't, but it eventually solidified to the perfect consistency from steam in my bathroom. Another thing I noticed was that it was almost sickeningly sweet at first. I guess I either got used to it or the flavor/scent wore off a bit! Definitely not for people who don't have a sweet tooth, but PERFECT for those who do, like me!

I saw this one day while at LUSH & didn't think it was something I needed, so I passed on it. A few days later I was dealing with severely chapped lips & had cracks in the corners of my lips that no amount of chapstick would fix. Then I remembered the little jar of pink sugar I had passed on. I ended up going back o LUSH first chance & bought the Bubble Gum lip scrub. After one use, I had found relief. After a few days, my lips were healed. And it's a delicious little treat too!

I also bought this with my Ocean Salt Scrub as a first purchase for myself. They were out of the limited edition popcorn lip scrub which is what I wanted. But, I was told this was a great one to have since it smelled like the Snow Fairy. So, I purchased and it has yet to let me down. Next one I need is the Sweet Lips. That smells amazing!

When I first read the review for this product, I ran to my nearest Lush to get it. I am a fanatic of lip balms/butters/scrubs and I love sweet, pink stuff so I knew I had to get this. I started using it immediately, and for me it has been exactly what I expected: really sweet, really pink, really really scrubby. I for one love exfoliating, so I think that's great, but for some people it might be a little bit rough on their lips. My lips feel so much smoother after using it, ready for some lip gloss. I used to get cracked lips so easily, but since using this product my lips have been hydrated and smooth.
I have to stop myself from using it all in one go as it tastes so delicious, but for others who are not that into really sugary flavors, this might not be for you.

When I walked into Lush I was not expecting to buy this little container of sugary goodness but thank god one of the workers suggested this to me!
It tastes SUPER YUMMY and I don't think I could live without this now. You just lick your lips and your finger a bit and dab some of the sugar onto your lips and scrub with your fingers! Of course you might want to do this over a sink or outside because the excess with fall.
This product seriously lasts a long time and when it runs out I WILL come back to buy another tin!

I tend to get chapped lips in the winter and obsessively apply lip balm. I knew I wanted to try a scrub to see if that helped so I ordered this. I was afraid it wouldn't be as great as people say it is but it SOOOOOOO is! It tastes really good, smells amazing and works so well! I really loved the first lip scrub I got which was the Popcorn scrub - but this one for me is a little too overpowering with the sweetness smell. I do love how it leaves me lips and that it gets all the dry skin off - but I'd rather go with something not so sickingly sweet.

In my opinion, this product is just an over priced, teeny tiny jar of sugar with a little bit of flavor added. I gave it two stars because the product does do what it promises, but you can get the exact same results using regular sugar that you can buy at grocery stores by the half gallon. The only advantage I can see in buying this product is if you want to carry your lip scrub around in your purse and use it whenever and wherever you want. Because it's all natural, you can indeed use it wherever and lick the product off your lips when you're done, which I suppose is another advantage. But personally, that doesn't make the price worth it to me. I'll use it until it's gone because I paid good money for it but I will never purchase it again.
