I first smelled Cocktail when it was available as a soap years ago and fell in love with the scent. I looked to B Never to possibly purchase the perfume but could never justify the cost of shipping from the UK. When B Never shut down I thought that my chance was gone so needless to say I was thrilled when I saw that it was available again. It is a perfect sophisticated floral scent without being overpowering or smelling too "old".

I love this scent! It makes me feel very sexy and sweet. My boyfriend loves it. I also get a lot of compliments from others. If you like musky, sweet smells, then this is for you.

I was really excited to get this when I first saw it introduced with the new line of perfumes online. The fact that it was supposed to be reminiscent of a 1930's French perfumery seemed like it would mesh well with my vintage-loving nature. However, I was quite disappointed when I actually received it and put it on. It starts out smelling like grain alcohol (the name Cocktail started to seem quite apt), and then blends down to a mild flowery/baby powder-esque scent with time. Needless to say, I really don't care to smell like an alcoholic senior citizen. The one positive note is that the color of the perfume was not staining or apparent on my super pale skin. Other reviewers (for Karma and other such solid perfumes) had said the bright color left pigmentation on their skin, but I haven't found this to be the case with any of Lush's perfumes.

Cocktail is an amazing perfume! It always gets me in the mood to go out to a fancy shindig. The scent is refined and sexy but also playful and not cloying. So happy to be able to share it with my friends!
