Cocktail is a mysterious blend of what smells to me like cinnamon, mint, and maybe some florals. After reading the other reviews, I briefly wondered why other people called it flowery. The florals are there, notably a kick of lavender when you first spritz it on, and a warm, sensual underbelly of jasmine as the scent develops, but I smell more the punch of cinnamon, peppermint, or something that is as oriental. Together, the spice + floral combination is mouthwatering. I'm definitely considering this as my signature scent, although it isn't the most long-lasting on me. For the spice part, think ALTOIDS. That spicy but minty fragrance of cinnamon Altoids really fits the bill as what this main note in this fragrance is reminiscent of. The juicy, exuberant florals like lavender that mellow into a heady jasmine are basked in the captivating, lush woodsy/spicy scent. If I was a guy I would totally be into a girl who wore perfume like this (hmm, that sounds a bit strange). Thus, seeing as I am a girl, I will wear this perfume out and silently jump with joy for every man who turns his head as he is hooked in by Cocktail. Then we'll go for cocktails ;) (hmm, another set of sentences that sounds strange)

Finally, I just wanted to mention that once when I wore this scent, my mother commented as she walked into the room. She said: "This room smells so good!" Oh. my. gosh. For my mom to actually like the smell of something means the solar system has to disalign itself. Or the equivalent of! I am so incredibly proud that I've found a fragrance that my sensitive mother doesn't get a headache from. Up close, Cocktail is a deep breath of spicy and sensual inviting air, but the floral notes are what carry over, just a little more than the fresh spice into the air farther away.

I put Cocktail Perfume on right after getting out of the shower with 17 cherry tree lane. the smell of the soap on my skin mixed with cocktail smells amazing. very floral, kind of beachy, and smells a little bit like my fabulous grandma who always smells heavenly! (She comes from the 30's too!)

I have the new Gorilla sampler set, it is the best thing I think Lush does as it allows one to sample scents and see how it smells on your body etc.
This is a prime example, while I was not 100% sure about this scent when I smelled in in the vile, once I put it on and it settled into my skin I really really like it!
I am not a huge rose or Jasmine scent fan but those notes really work in this perfume

this is succcchhh a gorgeous scent. i am such a fan of anything floral lush does (in order: Ginger, Flying Fox, Bathos, Lily Savon, Fever) and they did not disappoint.on the uk site someone said it smelled like vicks or antisceptic? No. You get a strong ylang ylang to start but there is such a gorgeous womanly floral powdery scent to finish. you really get a sense of carrying a bouquet of white flowers with this. well done lush!
