Apply by gently tapping, not rubbing, the bottle on underarms and rub in with your fingers. Be sure not to wet the powdered deodorants.
Coconut is probably the world's only deodorant with powdered coconut milk, both creamed and desiccated coconut and coconut oil to help it stay in place all day. It's scented with two of our favorite calming essential oils; fragrant vetivert grass and benzoin gum. We've blended it into a moisture-absorbing mixture of tapioca, cornstarch and natural mineral magnesium carbonate, our microfine powders. Use it and smell like a tropical cocktail.
- We're coo coo for coconuts! We use four different kinds of coconut extract in Coconut.
- Stinky feet? You can use Coconut on your smelly feet, too.
- Smell like a tropical beach: If you love that coconutty beach scent, this deodorant is for you.

Q:Can this coconut deodorant be used on rest of the body like the Silky Underwear powder? I know it's safe for feet, but is it safe for other more sensitive areas to keep dry and odor-free?Asked on 9/13/2013 by Em
A:Yes, The Coconut Deodorant is great on any external part of the body! Sometimes I like to use the Coconut Deodorant powder after I apply moisturizer on my arms and legs to help the skin stay soft!Answered on 9/24/2013 by Anonymous
A:I use Coconut deodorant all over my body. I find it works good after a shower or on those hot days.

A:I have used it elsewhere and it does feel very silky on your skin.Answered on 9/14/2013 by Anonymous
A:I think it could be used on sensitive areas, I'm super sensitive all the time and I haven't had any reactions to this product and it works amazingly!! I would maybe do a test spot just to make sure but it seems to be super gentle especially because I use it under my arms right after shaving with no problem

Q:Was this formula recently changed? The bottle I purchased this May doesn't have the same smooth feel and great smell (up to January 2013 it seemed to). I'm hoping I somehow got a bad batch, if the formula has changed I'll be devastated!Asked on 5/14/2013 by Lily from DC
A:The formula for the Coconut Deodorant Powder hasn't changed at all so it sounds like the batch may have been a little off. We definitely suggest following up with the shop you purchased it at to have this fixed up!Answered on 9/25/2013 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
Q:They told me at the store that for about 2 weeks, until my body got used to it, I would over-produce sweat. I'm not sweating any more than usual, but I do reek. I've tried putting on more, putting on less, sprinkling, rubbing, what-have-you. I smell terrible. Is that what they meant when they said it would take 2 weeks? It's only been one, but I'm back at work, and no one wants a smelly caterer. :(Asked on 8/10/2012 by Lady J from Milwaukee, WI
A:It sounds like a stronger deodorant might be a better choice for you, as the Coconut powder is definitely once of our lower strength options. I would recommend checking out either T'eo or the Greench, as they are stronger than the Coconut Deodorant.Answered on 10/31/2012 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
A:Perhaps it doesn't work well for your body, maybe trying another scent would have better results. Just like perfumes smell different on each person that could be the issue. One of the kids I work with claims to smell clay when I wear it but no one else does.Answered on 10/11/2012 by Mom of LUSH kid from San Diego,CA
Q:What ingredient makes this product non-vegan friendly? Am I missing something?Asked on 8/5/2012 by Pat
A:The coconut milk powder contains dairy ingredients. We're working on a dairy-free source, but until then, we want to be transparent and not make any claims about it being vegan when it's not.Answered on 8/28/2012 by Megan from LUSH Direct
Q:is this product safe to use on the face?Asked on 7/12/2012 by jasmine from st.louis,MO
A:I would not recommend using our body powders on the face. We have a delightful new powder just for face called Emotional Brilliance powder. Give it a try! I find it helps to set my makeup perfectly.Answered on 8/28/2012 by Megan from LUSH Direct
