I tried a sample of the almond coconut smoothie and I was intrigued. I bought the big container since there were such great reviews about it. I used it now for the third time and my skin was dry to the touch and extremely itchy. It calmed down after applying the charity pot lotion. I wanted to love the product but apparently my skin doesn't feel the same way.

I recently moved across the country away from my family and my beloved town that I have known and loved all my life. This morning I was feeling particularly down in the dumps and I pulled this product from the back of my bathroom drawer. I hadn't used it previously because I didn't care for the smell straight from the jar. Once in the shower it was a whole new ball game. The texture is light and fluffy and the smell!!! Oh the smell is wonderful! Like a creamy vanilla comfort food for your whole body. My skin felt wonderful after my shower and smelled good too. I never wanted to wash it off. I am a complete Lush junkie but some of their products put me off with the heavy Jasmine smells (Which I hate) but this one was very pure. Make sure to step away from the direct stream of water however or it will slide right off. Over all it put a spring in my step for the whole day.

I have annoying leg hair just like everybody else. Most shaving creams dry out my skin, or just leave me feeling itchy, with razor burn, stubble, etc. This smoothie is TOTALLY WORTH IT just for shaving alone. It just makes me feel generally more comfortable to have smooth, moisturized, freshly shaved skin.

The only con is that the wonderful vanilla, almost cookie-like smell doesn't linger on the skin, or at least, it isn't very strong. Have to settle for shoving my face inside the pot for a few seconds.

Otherwise this is perfect. <3

I was nervous about buying this product since I have read a lot of negative reviews on this product. I wrote two lists for my lush haul, one including this smoothie and the other without. When I went into my local shop in the mall, I had totally forgotten about this smoothie until I noticed someone using it for a demo. The girl I knew at lush said it feels like whipped cream! She rubbed it on my arm and I knew I needed a pot right now! It smells just like frosting! It has a sweet nutty scent that I fell in love with! It lingers too! I was smelling my arm all night long! Don't pay attention to the negative reviews this stuff rocks! I also have many cuts on my arms from my rats since they climb all over me and many products make them irritated and itchy to the point where I cannot wash my right arm! With this I could wash right over them since it has a low soap content.. Also it isn't really suppose to lather! It does a little but you don't need a lot more product because it doesn't lather. I use a little scoop on each part of me and it still lingers and softens. If you love sweet scents like godmother or porridge soap pick this up on your next lush shopping spree!

I looove this shower smoothie. It smells so good and spreads easily. I feel like people don't take generous enough amounts and end up not getting anything on themselves. I don't use it for shaving, I only use it for cleaning, but it's definitely worth it!

I want to say how excited I was about buying this product, and then how sad I was when I tried it. For being called coconut almond smoothie I was surprised it didn't really have a smell to it. I purchased this thinking, I can't wait to have the island coconut smell, and I tried it and it smelt like nothing. It does moisturize well. I can understand the no lather, most of the smoothies don't have much lather. I just am still really disappointed in the lack of scent. Don't buy if you are expecting a coconut smell.

This smoothie is very smooth, no kidding ;) It has a wonderful, light and warm scent that just makes me happy in the morning. It is great for adding moisture and cleaning your body during the winter, and not too heavy for summer. I use it on my whole body because it doesn't dry out your skin and leaves no heavy residue. Great for after shaving, feels so comforting! The scent doesn't last longer than an hour, but it is more about making sure you start your day right than adding perfume that wafts behind you.

seriously, this stuff is so fluffy and creamy like a mousse and smells like a delicious tropical banana smoothie, it almost makes me want to taste it ! but i resist every time haha. i bought this on a whim after the sales lady let me try it out. it works like a charm! i get really dry legs and arms and this stuff takes care of them in a flash ! such a great product.

So, this was the first thing I have ever tried from Lush (I bought online). I watched many videos and read a ton of reviews on this stuff. I must say, the smell isn't at all what I expected. I actually really disliked it when I tried it the first few times. But it has grown on me, and now I love it. It smells like food! You have to scoop a bit out on your fingers, and then rub it in like lotion. It doesn't lather a ton, but it does just enough to know that it's working. I love love love this stuff, definitely a staple in my shower now.

mmmm smells like whipped cream!! i use this after my shower jelly and it is amazing plus it makes my skin smell great! i think it would go great with the aqua mirablis body butter because they both have almond in them. that's what i use anyways:)) overall great product don't use too much thinking it will give you more moisture though because it only gives you so much moisture and u don't want to waste it:))

This stuff is amazing if you use it correctly! I take a small scoop, less than a tablespoon, spread it on both hands then slather it all over a moistened, plastic-mesh body scrubber... the results are luxurious! It lathers wonderfully...so many folks complain that it doesn't and that is simply not true...Lush should consider re-writing their directions on how to use this product. It's also a great time to shave those legs! You cannot get it to lather up by rubbing it on yourself! Do it right and you will be pleased with the results!!!

I love to cocktail this with the Butterball and the Rub, Rub, Rub. Soft, gentle smells...this Smoothie is nearly scentless, but what you can smell is nice.

The smell is unbelievable. I love that it is a cream soap for the winter time. Unfortunately it is not moisturizing Enough. I need extreme moisture in the colder months. Still love this and highly recommend it!

I bought Creamed Almond and Coconut Smoothie because I wanted a product that would clean and moisturize. You know, sometimes I just don't feel like doing the whole dance with lotions and stuff, I just want to shower and be done.
Well, this is not the product. I was hoping it would be thicker and, I don't know, greasier? Don't get me wrong, it's very light and fluffy and cleans very well but the moisturising effect just isn't there. Maybe it's the SLS, I don't know.
I also tried to use it for shaving but it didn't work too well.
Basically, it's a soap. A nice, creamy, light soap. And that's it.
The scent is very delicate and nice, smells like cookie dough- nothing wrong with that;)
Most likely will not re-purchase.

This was my first experience with a Shower Smoothie. It took a few showers to figure out the right amount to use and how to get it to lather. But once I got it, I was blown away. I suffer from horribly dry skin and this is a life saver. I use it after my soap and before my body lotion. It works so good I only use it every other shower. And it smells so good, I have to resist eating it every time I use it.

On one of my trips to Lush, I discovered this yummy body wash. I think the name is deceiving. It smells sweet but I don't think I'd say it smelled like almonds or coconut o.o but I still love the smell ^.^

I think this would work pretty well as a body wash, but I use it for shaving my legs. This stuff works amazingly well and you don't need that much. It's easy to use and I haven't nicked myself. Better than any shaving cream I've ever used.
