Q:Is this product suitable on hair extensions?Asked on 1/16/2014 by Jessie
A:I don't have hair extensions but I feel it wouldn't be a good shampoo to
use. it is really chunky and requires a lot of work to use. I love it
though :)Answered on 1/17/2014 by Anonymous
Q:I read a lot of reviews that said quite a bit of coconut ends up going down the drain/clogging the drain.
Will I have to worry about this product and my septic system?Asked on 8/26/2013 by Jenne from Bedford, VA
A:The coconut pieces in Curly Wurly are very small and fine, and in general, should not cause any clogs in your drain!Answered on 10/28/2013 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
A:I never had that problem with Curly Wurly. I really scrub it onto my scalp and yes, a few pieces of coconut are still present but the majority I had scrubbed into my hair.

A:Good question! I have noticed a good amount of coconut going down the drain, however I haven't had any problems with it causing a block, because the pieces are pretty small. I don't have a septic tank, however, so I don't know if that's a pickier system. I do love the shampoo though! Not much of a lather, as I'm used to the chemical-filled ones from the store that lather up like crazy, but a

A:It doesn't clog my drain. If you're doing it right, you only use a small
bit with each shampooing, mixing it with water in your hands before
massaging it into your hair. When you wash it out, it won't be thicker than
other shampoo.Answered on 8/26/2013 by Anonymous
Q:My hair is wavy, not curly. Would this still work on my hair? And could it make my hair any more curly, it always has a few straight pieces in it would this help?Asked on 5/29/2013 by Mads
A:Curly Wurly is really effective at taming frizzy and dry hair, so if your hair needs extra moisture and nourishment, then this would be a good shampoo to use. The added moisture will make wave and curl more defined, but it won't make your hair curlier.Answered on 10/2/2013 by Kendra M from LUSH Direct
Q:Is this product safe to use on color treated hair? My hair is dyed red and I was wondering if this product would strip the color.Asked on 3/23/2013 by Marie from Atlantic City, NJ
A:Although we don't test Curly Wurly on color treated hair,it is one of our mildest shampoos, designed to nourish and superbly hydrate dry, curly hair.Because it is made with large quantities of moisturizing creamed coconut and coconut oil as well as protein-rich fresh eggs and hydrating avocado butter,it is less likely to strip the hair color.Answered on 9/20/2013 by Anonymous
A:Yep! I color my hair and this is my daily shampoo.Answered on 4/10/2013 by Cash from Washington, DC
Q:This sounds like it would be perfect for me, but I'm concerned about the price. How many uses can I expect to get out of one pot? How many uses do you get out of one?Asked on 4/26/2012 by Sie by the Sea from Outer Banks, North Carolina
A:I think it depends on the length of your hair. Mine is almost shoulder length. I always get a lot of uses of LUSH shampoos. I have had BIG for 6 months already, and I use it almost every day. Now, this is my first time trying Curly Wurly (I just got it yesterday), and I am pretty sure it will last me for a good 4 months for sure if I use it daily. I know it's pricy, but, what I know a lot of people do is order it through the UK website. It's cheaper that way and it takes about a week to receive it. For me the price is not too too bad because of the way it leaves my hair: moisturized, soft, shiny. So, it's worth it. It's much better than pricy salon brands, which don't work for me.Answered on 6/16/2012 by Sugar Plum from Houston, TX
A:It is a little high up there in price but it is worth it. If you have super curly/frizzy hair like mine i would only wash it every other day (every 3 is best if you can) the frizz will be cut down and you will get more out of the pot. As long as you only use what you need and not more than you need you will have it for about 3 weeks depending on the length of your hair.Answered on 6/20/2012 by brittany from Ulster Park, NY
A:With Curly Wurly, just a little bit goes a long way, so you should expect to get many uses out of one container. This of course will vary depending on how frequently you shampoo, and how much you use each time. The shelf-life for this product is 14 months. We use wonderful fresh ingredients of the highest quality which is reflected in the value of this shampoo, absolutely.Answered on 5/3/2012 by Megan from LUSH
A:You only need about a quarter size for each wash, I've had mine for about three weeks and I'm a fourth of the way through the pot! Hope I helped! The product is totally worth the price though, there's also the Trichomania solid shampoo bar that isn't too pricey and brings moisture to your hair!Answered on 5/4/2012 by Katie from Kansas
A:It is pricey, but totally worth it. I had the same problem at first. I bought it in the beginning of Jan and I am at the very bottom of my jar just now. I feel like that is better than most drug store shampoos. So one jar has lasted about 5 months. I typically wash my hair every other day, but sometimes more frequently.Answered on 5/21/2012 by The Travler from Seattle, WA
Q:How long does the product stay good for? Does it expire earlier than other shampoos since it has raw eggs in it?Asked on 2/25/2012 by Amie from Indianapolis
A:Curly Wurly has been formulated to have a shelf-life of 14 months. On each pot we label the date the product was made, who made it, as well as when it is best used by.Answered on 2/27/2012 by Megan from LUSH
A:look on your sticker! mine was made on nov 30 2011 and good till jan 30 2013 so thats a long time!! :)Answered on 3/27/2012 by livia k from United States
