I have my hair bleached to the extreme (I'm originally a dark brunette and now my hair are champagne blond!) and I need a visit to my hair salon twice a month to keep my hair the color I want. Needless to say that my hair are damaged and dry.
I used this shampoo twice a week (aka each time I'm washing my hair) and this product doesn't help the lack of shine and moisture and is even making my hair dryier. I didn't notice the brassiness-fighting effect.
I used this shampoo for one month and I'm really disappointed. I won't even finish the bottle and will go back to better multi-purpose shampoos that clean, repare, hydrate and help to maintain my color.
If your hair are dry and need moisture, save your money for another shampoo!

I bought this because i read a review about how this is a must have product for blondes who want to lose brassy tones. My hair tends to go reddish when i try and dye blonde so i definitely have brassy tones but this shampoo made a BIG difference, it gave me the light ash blonde look i was going for even after one wash and after several, there is no more orange in my hair. I love that aspect about it. The only con is my husband finds the smell way to strong, as do i, i dont even have to move my head and i can smell my hair after washing. I solve this problem by only using a small amount, really lathering it into my highlights and washing after with a very mild smelling shampoo. If you want a light brighter shiner blonde though, this is the product for you.

I am absolutely in love with this shampoo.
I am a light brunette, and even though this shampoo is meant for blondes and greys, the person that helped me at the store recommended it for my oily, lifeless hair.

Well, my life is neither oily or lifeless anymore! The natural highlights in my hair are VERY noticable already after only 3 washes. My friends asked me if I dyed my hair! So it definitely lightens up my hair. It also adds loooaads of shine: my hair looks like the hair you see in advertisements! Voluminous, shiny, and beautiful. My hair used to be lifeless, dull, and ugly. Everyone around me is noticing how great my hair is looking.

I use this shampoo in combination with the Veganese conditioner: it's a great combination. My hair has never been more beautiful, healthier, and happier! I definitely recommend both of these products.

Product is amazing. It does work! I have blond blond highlights and once I use this it takes the yellow away and it does not leave my hair purple. I am not psyched about the smell, it is quite strong but it's fine, it does not smell like chemicals though. I def recommend. It is quite pricey but last a really long time.

I only bought this product 5 days ago, but I'm totally in love. As a little girl my hair was extremely blond, almost yellow and as the years have gone by my hair has changed color so many times from just age and dye. Daddy-o is actually brining my blond back and I am extremely happy. My mother and sister both saw the results immediately out of the shower. I stepped into the sun and it was beautiful.
Overall, if you want your blond hair to have shine again and have your bright locks back this is awesome. My only problem is I have very thick, sometimes oily, sometimes crazy volume, medium length hair. My hair felt dry after using this product, but it did not upset me because I used my sister's Veganese on the ends only afterwards and that did the trick. I recommended Veganese to use with it only because that conditioner is light and wont weigh your hair down. I have a major problem with conditioners weighing my hair down, and after a few hours my hair feels extremely greasy.

I encouraged my younger sister to buy this because she has blonde hair and we have been noticing that her blonde hair is a lot brighter. Well I decided to use some on my hair because I have blonde highlights in my hair and was hoping it would add some life back into them and it did.

I first got this product as a gift and I have loved it ever since. Natural blonde is a hard color to keep and this does wonders. Works well for highlighted or dyed hair too. Smells amazing like lavender and goes great with the lemon scent of veganese. Be careful though its very purple and can stain your shower curtain purple if you accidentally touch it. Or any other light fabric it gets on. But don't worry it won't stain your hair.

My stylist told me to get a violet shampoo for my processed blonde hair to keep the brassy color away. While I do have a more intense version (a salon product) that I use once a week, I like to use Daddy-O on a daily basis to keep things fresh. I think it smells nice, but it was a bit much at first - someone might find it overwhelming. However, if you have blonde hair, you really can't go wrong with this product. It'll keep your blonde bright and shiny.

I used Daddyo years ago and just received my most recent Lush order, including this great shampoo! It adds shine and brightens my hair. The consistency is thinner and more runny than most shampoos, but it lathers very well and a little goes a long way. I probably wouldn't use it every day, although I have been since I got it ;] I could see where it might be a bit drying, but if you follow it up with conditioner, your hair will be full and soft and shiny! The smell might not be for everyone, but I think it smells fantastic!!!

I use this product as a daily shampoo. My hair has been dyed blonde after being dark for a few years, so it could look a bit orange. This shampoo makes my blonde hair shine and look brilliant and not brassy at all. I also love the herbal scent. Leaves my hair feeling clean and me feeling pretty! What more could you ask for?

i LOVE this shampoo! it smells really good! do you know the candy "violets"? thats what it smells like. it adds lots of volume and wave to my hair and gives it a beautiful shine! if you smell it in the bottle, it smells chemically, but once it drys in your hair it smells amazing! one of my favs!

I have very thin, blonde hair. I have never dyed it, but my hair turns brown in the winter. This product made me hair return to my natural glowing blonde color, and it also made my hair very soft and manageable. The smell is very sophisticated and it lathers very well. I love it!

I use this product every morning and find my hair is in great condition. I tried the Daddy-o because my hair was getting brassy between salon visits. It is gentle enough to use everyday and I get compliments constantly! But I find that if I try and let my hair go two days without shampooing, it does get very greasy. Apart from that I love this shampoo!

I decided to try this, mainly because of the smell, and that it was a violet shampoo :-) I did notice my hair being a bit more shiny, but nothing spectacular. I got the smallest bottle and was planning to finish it, but after about the 3rd wash, my head was covered in flakes! I literally shrieked in horror when I looked in the mirror! Moved on to the NEW! solid, and so far am very happy with it :-)

I remember my old roommate using Daddyo and I liked the way her bathroom smelled after she washed her hair. It's been a good 4 years and I decided to grab a bottle on a whim. While I love the way my hair felt and looked-curls were curlier and shinier-I do not like the smell as much as I thought I might. It does mellow out a little as the day wears on but not even a conditioner and leave-in could tame the smell at first! That being said, I will continue to use it as my hair looks like mermaid hair now. I'll deal with the smell!

I recently bleached my hair to be platinum blonde and was looking for a purple shampoo to help tone down the brassiness. I popped into Lush for some shaving cream and the girl at the counter insisted I try daddy-o. I tried it that night in the shower and was actually truly amazed at how much whiter my hair looks. In fact I can see a big difference between days where I showered and days where it's getting to be time for a shower. I scanned a lot of the reviews before deciding to actually purchase it and one thing I haven't seen a lot of is that it feels REALLY dry in the shower. I have been using it exclusively with a deep conditioner(since I only shower every few days). I don't know if it's just because I'm a processed blonde or what, but the stuff works AND is very drying. Either way, if Marilyn Monroe's shade is what you're after and you have have a good deep conditioner in your arsenal this stuff is bomb.

This shampoo is fabulous! When I was in Atlanta, GA, a sales rep at the Lennox Mall informed me about this! I am a blonde, and have curly hair, I was skeptical at first, especially when I saw how dark the purple it was. But the sales rep showed me on my arm what it does.....and I was sold! I used it the next morning, and when my sister and I where shopping, I had a few strangers come up to me and asked what perfume I was using!

I informed them it was my shampoo from Lush, and they where blown away! My hair hasn't felt so good in a very long time! I will buy this forever!!

I used this shampoo for the first time today followed by Retread conditioner. The shampoo just felt luxurious while I was washing my hair, the scent is fantastic, and my hair is now incredibly soft and shiney. My strawberry blond hair looks bright and healthy. I recieved this as a sample, but I cant wait to get to the Lush store to purchase it!
