First of all, if you're considering this, I recommend you get a sample or try it out in the store to make sure it's your color shade. I thought I would be too light for the dark yellow, but it's actually the most perfect shade ever on my skin. This 'foundation' is very light and doesn't take much to cover. A dab on the cheeks, nose and temples work perfectly to get medium coverage on your face. If you use too much, you may have to let it air out to seep into your skin. I find using a finishing powder makes your skin look like porcelain after using this product, which is amazing!! I will never buy another $50+ foundation, unless this product comes in a bigger tub to last me a lifetime

I use this product as a daily light foundation. The color is a great match for my skin tone; I am Hispanic, and most foundations have pink undertones, which never seemed to match my skin. I apply it with a foundation brush and it blends easily. I use a finishing powder over it, and it lasts most of the day.

So i went on vacation and visited LUSH for the very first time. Unfortunately the closest LUSH to my town is 2 hours away which needs to change!! Needless to say i went nuts and wanted everything, i came across this product and my mind just exploded. I've tried more so many different foundations, from drug store to high end products.

I have combination skin and that T zone kills me. My forehead gets extremely oily and then down my nose. But then the sides of my nose are incredibly dry and flakey! I've tried so many different combinations of using mineral foundation on my forehead and then liquid on the rest of my face for the moisture. But nothing works, by the end of the day i still feel as if my forehead is leaking oil down my face, onto my eyelids and down my nose. Its so disgusting and makes me extremely self conscious.

So stumbling upon this tinted moisturizer i though well it seems light and airy, when i tested it on my hand it spread well and had a nice texture. But the fact that its only a tinted moisturizer and not a full coverage foundation worried me a bit. But i figured, hell give it a try the worst thing that could happen is you don't like it.

...and I'm so glad i made the choice to purchase it. It goes on so smooth, blends perfectly, the coverage is actually perfect. It hides my imperfections but yet still gives my skin that totally natural look. But the big deal breaker is that it keeps my skin dry, yet incredibly soft and moisturizes all at the same time! I couldn't be happier with this product!

I am asian, light/medium and this color is perfect for me. I use a tinted moisturizer in the day that I love, but sometimes i just crave a lil more coverage. I figure this will be a good way to increase coverage without buying a new tinted moisturizer because I tried a new brand and it broke me out. I mix equal parts of dark yellow and my tinted moisturizer and then apply on face. I think the color supplement alone might be too thick to apply evenly on the face. I use it alone to conceal undereye area. I have some acne, and I think the dark yellow is too dark to use to conceal the blemishes/hyper-pigmentation, so I use my own concealer for that. When the concealer runs out I might buy light yellow for that purpose. good product!

I have been using this product for a week now. I was skeptical about my color choice (I ordered online) but after watching a few user reviews on youtube I went with dark yellow. Great choice !

This can be a base coat for the face or a dark circle/spot corrector. For the first few days I only used it for my dark circles and it worked like a charm. It didn't sit in my eye creases either, which my former foundation did. I was very happy with the results when I used it all over my face, it gave my skin a consistent look that usually takes me a base coat and concealer to achieve.

The most impressive think about dark yellow is the texture. It is neither oily for dry, and if you apply it before your moisturizer completely absorbs, you will get the dewey, healthy natural look on your skin. The texture reminds me of mousse. It won't get dry as the day goes by, nor will your oily t-zone (if you have mixed skin like me) react and overproduce oil.

Five stars, for ease of use, natural look, not irritating my redness prone skin, blend ability, not to mention a little bit really does go a long way.

my go-to for everyday. i am italian, and i have the worst trouble color matching ANY makeups on my olive skin. this is the absolute perfect shade. unreal. cant believe i survived without this!

I started out with the Light Yellow color and it was too light so I bought the Dark Yellow which was too dark at the time. I ended up mixing both colors for a few months to get the shade right. Now that summer is over, I can wear just the Dark Yellow without looking like a Kardashian. When I first started using it, I hated the way it felt on my skin. Kinda like it was a thick oily coating just sitting there but for some reason when I use it now, it feels comfortable. Maybe I just got used to it? I use this as a foundation since I found mixing it with my moisturizer made it barely noticeable at all. I use a good amount each morning and it evens out my skins appearance but doesn't do anything to cover problem areas. I don't really have many problems areas any way so it works out for me. I'm getting to the bottom of my pot and I'm thinking I'll repurchase again. My skin is dryer now for some reason and it feels better now then when I was oily. If your looking for a foundation with good coverage this is not for you. If you want to even out your skin tone and have dryer skin, this might be good!

I love it!! I use it every morning. I combine it with moisturizer with the ratio of 50/50. It's easy to blend and perfect for my skin (I'm asian). The pot provides plenty of uses for me; I've been using it for 4 months and there's more than half left.

I use it as a concealer then add lotion to it to use as a foundation. Thats all I did for awhile and the coverage didnt last long. I started using a finishing powder and the coverage now lasts all day. The jar lasts forever & I love that it doesnt feel heavy. I didnt think I would buy another jar but now that I figured out how to use it - I will.

This is the perfect foundation base for multiracial skin! The yellow undertones are perfectly balanced and the whole effect is very natural. I love how multi-purpose it is... concealer, adjustable foundation, and especially for tinting my natural mineral sunscreen so it no longer makes me look like Casper the Ghost. Love it for travel especially as it's very compact (and I only have to carry one product instead of two). My insanely sensitive skin does not react to it either. This is perhaps my favorite Lush product!

I am glad I was at the store when I purchased this product, looking at the description on line, I probably would have purchased the light yellow, which would have been too light. Anyway:) I use this product after vanishing cream (before it vanishes completely). I take a tiny bit of product, rub it between my hands and apply where needed (it's easy to put a little bit more if needed). It goes on smoothly, a little goes a long way and it gives my skin a really nice finish. I can see how the little jar is going to last a long time! My skin is pretty good right now so I only apply a little bit where needed but I applied a little extra on a scar I have in my t-zone (I have combination but sensitive skin) and the spot is still not oily after wearing this for 8 hours. Also, I never find the need to re-apply during the day. No touch up required. I put it on in the morning and I am good to go! Which is good since I like to sleep as long as possible and I have 2 little ones to get ready as well.

I have a medium to dark skin tone and use this as a tinted moisturizer and concealer. I apply a creamy moisturizer first and immediately apply the dark yellow, with a light hand, all over the face, concentrating most on the areas that need more coverage. And it works great as an under-eye concealer because of the yellow undertones!

I got a sample of this product in dark yellow before I committed to purchasing it. I am so glad I did that first because I ended up using it twice and decided to be done with it. It made my face oily, especially on my t-zones. I actually used it as an under-eye concealer and concealer on some of my acne scars. It just didn't do it for me...It didn't cover my under-eye circles nor my blemishes. It was also a very sheer cover but it didn't even feel sheer. It was too thick and hard to blend. The dark yellow was too yellow for my skintone but this was the only color that was closest to my skintone. This was a disappoint because I had high hopes for this product. I hope Lush improves this product or comes up with new make-up soon!

Didn't know if I would like it or if color would match based on previous reviews but surprisingly I love it! And the color is my best match yet, I am glad I purchased dark yellow because of summer. This is best for a person who likes light coverage, it does cover scars beautifully and dark eye circles amazingly, and I didn't mention my pores are clean and my skin looks amazing at least my husband says so, I will recommend to many!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product. I am 30 and have very dark circles under my eyes and my skin is uneven. This product is SO smooth and evens out my skin like NO other product I have ever tried. I use it as a concealer under my eyes and any blimishes and then smooth over the rest of my skin with a moisturizer. It is perfect, my skin is smooth and even and the best part is that it's not gone by 1 PM!

This colour supplement is perfect. I LOVE IT!!! My skin has never looked better. I put on moisturizer and then apply this. It spreads easily and evenly. The coverage is perfect & looks so natural. It covers my blemishes, redness around my nose, and my under eye circles. I hardly have to use any concealer. I dust my face with a little setting powder and I'm good to go. It cut the time it takes to apply my makeup in half. My search for a perfect foundation is over at last! Must have, life-saver, and cult classic all in one.

I love this makeup! It makes my skin look nicer than all the foundations I've tried from drug stores and [@]. It makes my skin look better than Bare Minerals! I do use Smashbox primer and concealer underneath though. It creates a beautiful finish that I've never achieved before. I only wish it weren't a cream because I have oily skin, so I make sure I have blotting sheets in my bag. I use it straight: not diluted with moisturizer because A)I need full coverage and B)I don't need any more moisture on my oily skin. I also wish it were waterproof and less easily wiped off. I carry pressed powder for touch ups because it comes off on my napkin if I'm eating. The picture is darker than the actual makeup. I blend it with Dark Pink to match my medium-tan/olive skin. I still love it for making my skin look pretty.

I live in south Louisiana so it's difficult to use this as a foundation..it just melts right off the minute I walk outside. I do wear it in the evening and if I know I won't be outside much, but otherwise, I'm saving it for winter. (Well, the little bit of "winter" we do have, at least) When I have worn it (mixed with Celestial moisturizer) I've gotten compliments, every time. I've been told it looks dewy and natural. My husband couldn't stop staring at me the first time I wore it! Great product!

ps..my skin is a fair olive tone and the dark yellow is a perfect match.
