A:Medium. I miss this with my enzymion lotion so that thins it out slightly.Answered on 6/18/2015 by BekBek from Michigan

A:I would say this gives medium- slightly high coverage. I don't use it
anymore, because I no longer have a need for it, but I used to have really
bad rosacea, which is redness of the face. I had some really concentrated
areas on my cheeks that were really really red and puffy. I would first
use this product to cover up the red, and it did a really good job. I then
used a powder over top of it, because it was kind of shiny by itself.
Overall, I think this product did a very good job, and helped me feel
better about my condition (obviously it couldn't take my puffiness away,
but it covered the redness really well!).Answered on 6/18/2015 by Anonymous
A:I'd say medium but you can build it up if you're looking for more coverage. I use it as a concealer and foundation, I just add a little more on the spots I want covered.

Q:This would be my first time buying any type of color corrector so I'm not exactly sure how everything works yet. I have the Tea Tree Cleanser, but not a moisturizer, is it mandatory to use a moisturizer when applying this product?Asked on 12/25/2014 by Abbey
A:Dark Yellow can be used with or without a moisturizer as either a) Tinted Moisturizer or b) Foundation/Concealer. As a tinted moisturizer (more subtle and dewy), mix a small amount of colour supplement with your moisturizer and adjust the colour as you go along to get the perfect shade. As a Foundation or Concealer, dot a small amount of colour supplement on your freshly washed, damp skin. Blend evenly with a clean fingertip until smooth.Answered on 12/29/2014 by Elizabeth from LUSH Direct
Q:Can you mix this with my foundation? My current foundation is too pink for me and I was wondering if you mix it together with the color supplement will it make it yellow?Asked on 9/22/2014 by Manyluck from Florida
A:Yes, you can definitely mix this with your foundation! It will give it a deeper color and also try using it with your moisturizer to give you a lighter coverage.Answered on 9/25/2014 by Anonymous
A:Absolutely! The vegetable oil base of our color supplements makes them very easy to mix. You can use them on their own, combine them with other color supplements to create your perfect match or mix them with your moisturizer for a light coverage.Answered on 9/25/2014 by Rene from LUSH Direct
A:Yes! This is a great product because you can use it alone or mix with another item. I usually combine it with moisturizer to create a tint or with some highlighting liquid when I want a "glow" I have mixed it with foundation before, and it worked fine, but I don't usually use full coverage so that's not what I normally do.

Q:I am very interested in this product but want to know which one would best fit my skin tone. I am NC 42- NC 45 which one would you recommend?Asked on 11/3/2013 by Domi from New York,NY
A:It sounds like Dark Yellow would be the closest match, but the only way to know for sure is to try it on your skin! Our Colour Supplements blend well with a range of tones, which is why our selection of colours is a bit on the small side, and they don't directly correspond with other brands.Answered on 11/29/2013 by Brandy from LUSH
A:I am Caucasian with medium skintone and just a hint of olive. This is the only lush color I've tried, but it blends perfectly. I mix a dab of moisturizer into it and use on my whole face. Doesn't look like I'm wearing makeup at all!

A:I'm not familiar with the terms NC-42/NC-45 but I bought the dark yellow
colour supplement a few months ago and have liked it pretty well. I usually
put it on everyday with an spf moisturizer and it does an excellent job of
evening out my skin tone. A friend told me it made my skin glow. I like
that part of it; and that is never looks too heavy and stays on all day.
However, sometimes it does make my skin oily, which might be the rice bran
oil. I think there's a powder that lush recommends with the colour
supplements that I thought about buying for getting rid of oily spots
during the day.Answered on 11/4/2013 by Anonymous
Q:I'm definitely thinking of buying this product, I'm looking for an a more natural alternative to what I use currently as my foundation (Covergirl Outlast 3 in 1 or something like that). I love the coverage from it, because I have some acne. Will this product conceal mild-moderate acne well?Asked on 8/4/2013 by Sarah from United States
A:Since everyone's skin is different, it is hard to say whether the supplement will provide enough coverage; some will find that it works effectively, while others may need to use an additional concealer to help completely cover a specific spot.Answered on 9/25/2013 by Anonymous
A:This is a great natural base, but if doesn't really cover reddish acne very well, I usually have to use concealer on those problem spots with this product.Answered on 9/18/2013 by LORAELLIE from RANCHO CUCAMONGA
Q:Hi, I have some questions on this product. My skin color is light brown, I'm indian so I'm not really sure which one will go good with my complexion. So will this product blend with my skin easily? If it doesn't then which of the color supplements will blend easily with my skin? My undertone is neutral and has a combination of red, blue and yellow base. ThanksAsked on 6/18/2012 by Chloelovesglitter12 from New York, NY
A:I have the same challenges! So hard to find the right foundation isn't it? I love these because I can customize them - especially as I'm more reddish in the summer and more yellow in the winter. I'm guessing that the Dark Yellow and the Dark Pink will work together to make the perfect blend for you.Answered on 9/7/2012 by SLCR from Boston, MA
A:Dark Yellow is a nice choice for Indian skin tones because you can change the concentration of the product depending on how dark or light you are. We would suggest experimenting by mixing different amounts of moisturizer with the color supplement to find a tone that suits your skin.Answered on 10/27/2012 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
