Q:Would this work with the Lush Sea Spray? Also, will the product spread easily in my hair or will it grip a bit? & will the product make my hair go into individual spikes? Like I have had a product that did that and it was horrid.Asked on 5/2/2015 by Kevin
A:Yes, Dirty Hair Cream can be used in combination with Sea Spray depending on the results you are looking for. It spreads quite easily since the consistency is quite creamy, but it will still help to provide hold to the hair. The hold is firm, but natural so it shouldn't do anything too drastic in terms of styling!Answered on 5/14/2015 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
Q:Is this product water soluable? And is it hard to wash out/ leaves your hair greasy after washing?Asked on 6/12/2014 by Edie from Buffalo NY
A:Dirty hair cream can be washed out with shampoo, and rinses clean away without leaving any residue on the hair!Answered on 9/25/2014 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
Q:Can this be used on fine shoulder length hair? What were the results? Also what would happen if i put it in damp or wet hair instead of dry hair?Asked on 5/16/2013 by LUSHeeee from NJ/NYC
A:Dirty hair cream can be used on any hair type so feel free to try it on finer, shorter hair. It will help to provide texture and hold and can be used on wet or dry hair!Answered on 9/27/2013 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
A:I use just a bit in my damp hair to define my curls...no more gobs of gel for me! I just flip my head over take a very small finger full, rub in my hands and run through my hair lightly. Then I scrunch it up. Love it!Answered on 6/8/2013 by Dengail from Michigan
Q:I have really wavy, thick hair that doesn't stay straightened easily. Could I use this to make my hair stay straight? And if so, how would I put it in my hair? Would I put this in my hair when it is wet or dry?Asked on 5/15/2013 by Natcat from Texas
A:Dirty hair cream is more of a styling cream rather than a straightening cream. While it is good for adding hold and texture to the hair, it likely won't help when trying to keep wavy hair straight.Answered on 9/27/2013 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
Q:Can i use this on very curly, thick hair? Will it tame my frizz but not make it tooo hard?Asked on 3/25/2012 by maria22 from Ozone Park, NY
I have very curly hair, but my hair is also very thin. I suggest to go to your nearest Lush store and get a sample. This will allow you to check out the product without spending the whole amount. Samples are usually free and Lush employees will be more than happy to supply you with some.
My experience with this product has been positive. This is a great alternative to gel or mousse for me. However, every head of hair is different. Since your hair is thick I wouldn't be able to guarantee that this will be great for you. BUT it does work for me and I do have very curly, dry, fly-a-way hair.
Hope you get a sample and like it. If not there's always Big Tease you can try too. Have fun!Answered on 6/27/2012 by Christine Ash from Uncasville, CT
A:Depends on how you like your hair. If you're looking for natural, yes. If you want some measure of control with very curly hair I'd say look for something with a stronger hold.Answered on 6/25/2012 by Grainne from Chico,CA
A:I find that the Dirty is a great product for exactly that! It doesn't leave you with that crunchy feeling that some other hair products can (although when you first start to use it, be sure to apply sparingly, as a little can go a long way, and too much can leave you looking a little bit greasy/weighed down). Enjoy!Answered on 3/27/2012 by Laura at LUSH from Vancouver, BC
