I tried this despite someone I know thinking it was disgusting. Glad I did! It worked just as well as my other natural toothpastes. I'm not sure if it does anything other than freshen breath--guess I'll find out at my next dental check-up! It wasn't as minty as I expected. My only real complaint is that I only had 37 tabs when the box says 40. I bought it from a LUSH store and it did not appeared to have been opened prior to my purchase.

This was definitely an interesting investment. I bought this product to use while traveling, and it did its job. Using the tabs instead of regular toothpaste took some getting used to, but after a few uses, the product grew on me. The taste initially is unexpected, but not unpleasant.

I've got sensitive skin that has not been happy with ANY cleanser I've tried before LUSH (and twenty years is a LOT of trying!), so I decided that sensitive gums might be soothed with Toothy Tabs. So far, my gums are super-happy (conventional drugstore toothpaste leaves my gums swollen, cracked, and bloody, and the health-food-store stuff usually tastes gross). The only downside for me is that the flavor is SUPER mild - I guess I expect toothpaste to "cover up" any lingering halitosis - but there doesn't seem to BE any lingering halitosis, so maybe I'm just paranoid. I won't stop using them, and I hope it will just take a bit more getting used to.

When I came across these in a local LUSH shop, I had already read up on Toothy Tabs. The reviews from customers AND salespeople are quite mixed. I decided to give it a whirl, and found that Dirty has many of the same flavors found in the toothpaste I normally use. First time I used them, I foamed at the mouth like Cujo. Then I realized it may actually be better to brush with a semi closed mouth. In all my subsequent uses, I have found that my teeth look exceptionally clean, bright, and my breath smells pretty awesome. The tabs are quite small, and though I haven't actually counted how many are in a box, it seems like it would last about 1 month for 2x/day brushing. I alternate between my regular toothpaste and the TT, since I normally brush my teeth in the shower in the A.M. and these would stand no chance of survival.

I was skeptical at first, but decided to give it a try since the texture of conventional toothpaste can make me gag, especially early in the morning.

These were surprisingly fun! They're a little chalky and strange at first, but you get used to them and they end up being lots of fun! And they leave my teeth with a fresh, clean feel.

These tabs are great. They can be weird at first because you have to chew up the tab then start brushing. But they leave my mouth feeling really clean and fresh without that burning sensation after. And you can drink anything after and it ont taste horrible (especially orange juice).

I love this product! My teeth have been feeling a lot cleaner in comparison to my regular toothpaste. It's actually helped whiten them. It does foam up quite a bit, but nothing terrible. The taste is a little weird, but not too bad and it does leave my breath pretty fresh. I really recommend toothy tabs. They're worth a try. I was surprised to see so many negative reviews.

I was surprised by how much I loved the tabs right away! They make my mouth feel cleaner than regular toothpaste while using natural ingredients. The taste is clean and neutral, good but not strong. There are just hints of mint, they mostly just taste like baking soda.
These are great for when you are in a hurry or on-the-go. I keep a box at home, at my office, and in my car. Even if you are missing a toothbrush, chewing up and swishing with water with a toothy tab is better than no brushing at all! Great for camping and travel since they do not melt or take up any space. One tiny box is a couple weeks worth of brushing, just make sure you count your box to make sure you got the entire amount the box said it should contain!

Dirty toothy tabs are good. They work well, and have a nice clean feel after you use them. A couple things though. For me I didn't really get to much of a minty taste so much as a baking soda taste. I don't really mind even though baking soda tastes awful, the dirty toothy tabs do work so I will continue to use them. They are messy so you should be by a sink when you use them because they foam up and what not. Also I usually only have to use half of one. The best way to use them is to take one or half of one crush it in your front teeth, wet your toothbrush and brush while it foams and what not. Also the nicest thing about the toothy tabs is they don't have that gross chemical aftertaste like normal toothpastes and you could use them and then eat or drink something without that gross aftertaste other toothpastes usually have.

This product is honestly horrible in my opinion. The moment you bite down on the tab your mouth gets an explosion of chalky very fragrant blast. It tastes so horrible that I could not possibly try to brush my teeth with it. The taste lingered in my nose for literally four hours! Would not recommend.

The first time I used this I was presently shocked by how easy it was to use! I enjoy the rest of the dirty products and I was apprehensive about the toothy tabs but I am so happy i picked them up!

This is my first experience with toothy tabs. It takes a little getting used to. The taste is a bit chalky and kind of like baking soda. But I love lush and I'll keep trying :)

I love the idea of these Toothy Tabs so much. It certainly makes traveling on a plane so much easier without trying to find the right size tube of toothpaste. They're fun and easy to use. Unfortunately, the taste is not that good. Due to the description, I expected minty freshness, which is my favorite flavor, especially for brushing. Instead, these taste like soap. My mouth is clean, but I feel like I ate a bar of soap. I don't even taste the mint because the soapiness overpowers everything. I'm saving these for travel and camping and sticking with my tube of toothpaste. If Lush makes these much tastier, I will be back for more!

I was really skeptical (yet excited) when I heard about Toothy Tabs. I asked the Lush staff which ones were them mildest, and they recommended Dirty. After crunching them a few times in my mouth, I started brushing and they foamed like crazy! It was a weird sensation to feel the grittiness of the Tab for a bit, but it completely dissolved in a few seconds. After brushing my mouth felt clean....really really clean. Like coming back from the dentist clean. My breath also smelled really good, a combination of mint, but also sweet and slightly perfumy. It is a but weird to have perfumy smelling breath, but it was pleasant. I used one this morning and my teeth still feel clean, it has been about five hours after brushing and I have eaten breakfast and snacks too. I am still hesistant to completely give up on flouride, so I use the Toothy Tab in the morning and use regular toothpaste at night. I will defintely use these for travel, they are so much easier to pack! I also gave my husband one to try and he hated it. He travels quite frequently, and he told me that he would rather haul around a five gallon tub of toothpaste than one Toothy Tab. So I guess they are not for everyone...he hated the taste and the texture. But I love them!

When I found out that regular toothpaste is pretty much the devil and can kill you and your children. I came to Lush and immediately bought the Toothy Tabs and I love them! I use two at a time because I am over cautious and when you get them to foam up a lot it makes brushing your teeth so much more fun. I love that they don't make my tummy turn, because the "normal" tooth paste I would use always made me feel sick after I brushed my teeth. I highly recommend them especially if you are wanting to protect yourself and your family!

I wasn't sure about this product at first but the results are amazing! It's easier than toothpaste because you can walk around and do stuff while chewing. The taste is a bit funky at first but goes away as soon as you start brushing. Totally makes my teeth feel soft and smooth and my partner likes the smell

I like it because it cleans my teeth really well. it leaves them feeling so clean and i can feel it when im brushing. It even helped with my wisdom tooth, that area always felt yucky till i would brush with dirty tabs. Wish it had more mint flavor.

This is the second flavor I've tried. Sparkle was strong and long lasting--a powerful peppery flavor that lingered long after I finished brushing. Dirty is about the exact opposite of that.

Just like Sparkle, I only need half a tab to get a clean mouth with sufficient suds, so the tabs last twice as long as advertised, a good thing actually since it helps offset the price of the tabs.

Again, if you've brushed with arm-and-hammer toothpaste, you know that slightly salty taste of baking soda that is present in baking soda tooth products, so if you are not used to that there will be an adjustment phase there. Outside of that, this was a very very subtle minty tone. I barely noticed it at all--it literally tasted like nothing when I was done brushing my teeth.

I find that a positive thing if I am about to go eat, or if I have just finished eating as flavors do not get altered. The mint is just barely present, enough to freshen but not enough to linger. You'll be kissable without anyone knowing you just brushed your teeth. If you want a powerful flavor do not go with Dirty. This was a very no-nonsense, basic plain jane squeeky clean experience. But anyone sensitive to things like peppermint making their tummies upset after brushing, or making them gag when they brush, this will help with those situations.

It cleans just as well as toothpaste does, and since the box was too moisture prone I just throw them in an old aleve pill bottle that holds them perfectly and safely. I bite one in half for the morning and use the other half in the evening.

Took one star off because it was heavily advertised as being spearminty, although the flavor is much more subtle than what I was used to from regular toothpaste. The product itself was great.

I didn't like this AT ALL! I did what lush instructed, chew with your front teeth. It started fizzing and didn't taste good! I tried again thinking I may just need to get used to them.. Nope was just as bad the second time!
