As a company, we have a habit of making delicious lip balms and tints. This time though, we've made a chocolate lip tint that's suitable for vegans! We use cocoa absolute and dark chocolate (chocolate lovers-contain yourselves), hazelnut and brazil nut oils moisturize, and icing sugar to give Double Choc it's creamy texture.

This is a true lip tint and not a balm or a gloss. When I first tried applying it I wasn't in front of a mirror and was confused by the hard texture. I pushed my finger into it and smeared some on my lips. I used too much! It's hard because you don't need much product to tint your lips. You really just need to rub your finger over the tint and then apply to your lips. You can adjust the intensity of the color by layering more tint on your lips.
I like to top it off with Honey Trap or lip gloss. Sweet smelling, tinted lips.

Hi, I'm Lace, and I'm a chocolate addict. So I had to get this stuff; it's chocolate, yum! It does work better if you mix it. The top layer kinda dries out a bit, I guess, just sitting about. The color isn't bad, it's a bronze-y brown that you can apply as just a wash of color, or as a stronger color with a bit more. It clashes with my cool undertones, but I can deal with a light coat of the color since it's otherwise very nice.

I got this for times I don't feel like putting on lipstick. At first I was REALLY put off by it cause I tried swirling it on my finger and it still felt gritty. Until today, when I took a toothpick and swirled it around. First off, it's lighter! Second, it got creamier since I guess the oils were under the chocolate. Finally, I put a little (you only need a little) and wow! A huge improvement! It is a tiny bit gritty, but it melts away in a minute and my lips are smooth and feel silky. So if you buy it, mix it up first! Great product!

This was my second tint purchase,"it started with a kiss got me hooked!" The color on this is a nice light copper on my lips,goes on nice and smooth if applied with a good lip brush.My only gripe is the little tin is a bit hard to open,often I don't snap the lid completely down just because of this.

In my quest to find a replacement for the seasonal "Maple Taffy" I tried Double chocolate. I was open to something new, thought the color might be fun. The texture would be nice if it moisturized... at all. The taste is chemical.

i picked this up because is was looking for an easy nudish color for my (African American) skin tone that's beeswax free. The color is gorgeous; it doesn't wash me out like other nude tones and has just a hint of shimmer. My only gripes with the product are how difficult it is to initially apply and that it feels gritty before the warmth of my lips smooths it out. i have found that applying ultrabalm first helps the Double Choc go on more evenly.

I am pleasantly surprised by Double Choc! I was not encouraged by the poor review, but made up my own mind, ordered it, and I am so glad I did. The flavor is pure chocolate joy, and once you melt a little on your finger- it takes a little while- it goes onto the lips smoothly, lasts a long time on the lips and leaves behind a gorgeous bronze caramel tint, shine and fragrance to die for! I do recommend this highly!

If you try to use double choc straight from tin you might find it hard to come on your finger and not very moisturizing at all. What I did was took a toothpick and swirled the balm up a bit. This helped released the oils better and the lip tint became more moisturizing and 100% better. If you find this or any of the tints/balms a little on the dry side, try mixing it w/a toothpick. It will make such a difference. Oh yea, and the chocolate tastes divine!

I love Lush but this product didn't impress me like all their other ones do. I thought I'd try the tint as I love Lush lip balms and I thought it would have the same texture as those, but it's so dry I can't even get the color from my fingertip onto my lip. :( Wouldn't recommend.
But I would recommend Honey trap and chocolate whipstick.
