Dragon's Egg is the mother load of all bath bombs. Everything you ever wanted in a bath bomb, this one has got it. Hand's down, my favorite Lush bath bomb. Actually, it was the first bath bomb that I used. I even called over my mom into my bathroom because it looked so amazing!
Firstly, the smell is wonderful. It's citrusy and feminine. The scent is well-balanced; it's neither overpowering or weak. It's definitely a nice little nudge to the senses. And, after you step out, the scent lingers in your skin as well. I couldn't stop smelling myself!
Aesthetically, it's BEAUTIFUL. It swirls in this scene of white and orange, like a glittery melted bowl of orange-sicles. And huge pieces of rice paper confetti (that dissolve!) that dots the white foam with bits of playful color.
Also, as a note, there is no such bath that doesn't require cleaning after you've finished soaking. Like, you've never left a tub-ring? C'mon!!! So, despite this product being named after a mythical creature, don't expect Dragon's Egg to magically clean the tub after you've finished. Lush did their best to provide us with a fun product and it really IS a fun product. They did everyone a favor by making their confetti dissolvable. And I was told they use a special grade of cosmetic glitter that tries its best not to cling to your tub but all these fantastic oils in the bomb, it's inevitable to NOT get a little residue.
Take it for what it is. So what if you had to rinse off after it? You will have fun during your bath. You'll come out smelling great, lightly sprinkled in glitter, and definitely relaxed!

I was in the mood for a bath, so I took out of of the new ones I bought yesterday. It smells great, moisturizes well but I happen to dislike glitter in my bath. So, don't buy if you aren't into a ton, and let me emphasize a TON of glitter. I had to shower and scrub it off and wash out the tub after.

This was my second bath bomb after I used Butterball. Butterball is a nice, calm little thing. Dragon's Egg was big and flamboyant and I adore it. I love the glitter and when the center starts to fizz it's like a baby Dragon is born and it's soaring through the glittery night skies (if you want to get poetic with it.) I love this one! Will definitely buy again.

This bath bomb is great because it is gigantic! Which I wasn't expecting because I ordered it online. It smells wonderful and has a lot of glitter in it, which I personally like. Fun to use before going to a party. It smells like lemon ice cream. Sweet citrus is such a nice smell! The only downside for me is it felt weird to have a dark orange bath. The color put me off, but if you start to stare at it and see all the swirling glitter it actually looks very pretty. This one is truly unique.

I bought this the first time I decided to try out Lush, and it absolutely won me over. I broke up the bath bomb and got three uses out of it, but it was no less fun to watch in the water! It turned my bathwater a really pretty gold color, and there's a ton of small flecks of gold glitter in the center. The smell is reminiscent of fruity pebbles, with slightly more lemon. It's delicious! When you're actually in the bath, you can still smell it, but it's not unpleasant or overpowering. The most surprising part for me was that I didn't have to moisturize after my bath. My skin was incredibly soft already, something I didn't think a bath bomb could do! Lush, please please PLEASE keep this around. If this goes Retro, I will be so sad.

Dragon's Egg used to be an absolute delight, I love the smell (my bf commented it reminded him of pez candy) and I adored the crackling and the show. However, I noticed recently that they changed the glitter they use. I asked in store and they said that they found out the old glitter was a synthetic. I actually don't mind that bit. What bothers me though is now if I use Dragon's Egg my tub has glitter stuck everywhere and I'm covered in glitter as well, which I end up finding in random places days later. It's unfortunate but I don't think I'll be buying Dragon's Egg anymore due to this. It's such a shame since I loved it dearly....

It was my birthday today, so I decided that yesterday I would get a few things; one being a new bath bomb. I've been excited to try Dragon's Egg for a while, so that was my choice.
As I dropped it in, I was amazed at the foam and the colors. It's definitely a fun bomb show! The smell wasn't overpowering, but was enough where it floated through the bathroom and lingered on my skin afterward.
The glitter was what I had mixed feeling about. It was gorgeous in the tub, reminding me of Sunny Side a bit and I love that bubble bar, only these were larger pieces of glitter in the bomb. I got out and dried myself to find some stuck on me, which I didn't mind much either. It was when I got up from my bed and saw that my pillow case was COVERED in the glitter that I felt like I may have made the wrong choice.
I also didn't like how it didn't make the water as soft as many of the others do on its own.
I think if you have a bath melt with it and make sure that you dry yourself off well or rinse off with a shower afterward (which sadly may take away the smell that would keep to your skin if you didn't), then I think it's a nice bath bomb.

This is the ultimate bath bomb. Everything you could want, and more. Great smells, great colors, relaxing and soothing, and softens your skin. It's fun and colorful and long-lasting.
There's always a clean-up involved when it comes to bath bombs. But this one especially is a pain to clean up, because there is SO much glitter.

I was really excited to use this bomb! I forgot that it was glittery, and it was really pretty when my tub turned orange, my favorite color! I stayed in the bath for a pretty long time and enjoyed the smell. But when I drained my tub, there was glitter all over the bottom, and I had to clean it out. But on the brightside, you can always use that glitter! I put it on my body and now I'm all shimmery! So it pays off quite well. Would definitely buy again.

This is my absolute favorite bath bomb so far. It smells like sherbet which sold me right away. Then it put on quite the show, fizzling and crackling, so much fun. THEN an explosion of awesome glitter filled my tub, which I personally love. It seriously could not have been better. I am in LOVE. It makes the water into a beautiful golden-orange swirl with very fine gold glitter (that will stick to you, like coins to a very moisturized and beautiful dragon hide), like a potion in a fairy tale. With a scent of energizing citrus, this bathbom will make it feel like you are the dragon. Very uplifting and empowering. It might leave a sediment of glitter on the floor of your tub, which I personally don't mind, but you might.

When this was shipped to me I only had one, and it was broken =/
But I was so excited I used it anyways the same day I got it!
It smells absolutely divine, it's so moisturizing. The sherbet-y lemony wonderful scent makes me feel so uplifted and ready for the day!
I can't imagine not having these, it's one of my favourites.

Clean, citrusy, sherbet-ty scent just like the description says. Only con is I just wish the scent was a little more stronger. It's one of those "fun" lush bath bombs. There's soft mushy glitter ball at the end and I love the dragon scale looking patterns that come up as the bath bomb fizzes away!

For my birthday, my amazing boyfriend decided to take me on a short trip out of town. I don't have a soaking tub in my house, so he made sure we had a room with a jacuzzi tub so I could relax and unwind. I don't have a Lush store close to me, but I knew the city we went to did, so as soon as I knew I would have a giant tub to soak in, I wanted to get a bath bomb. We went into the store, and I picked Dragon's Egg. I knew from the reviews that the bath bombs are wonderful, so I knew I couldn't go wrong, but the scent from the outside of Dragon's Egg drew me in. Once we got back and filled the rub, I dropped the bomb in and watched, in amazement, as it dissolved and fizzed and danced around the tub. Just went I thought it was probably about done, a crack appeared in the bomb and out came this wonderfully-scented, bright orange substance that really enhanced the entire smell of the bathwater. For the finale, a trail of gold glitter swirled around the water. It was amazing to watch. Once I was in the tub, I immediately felt my skin soften from the oils that had been released. I was able to relax and breathe in the wonderful orange-lemon-sherbet smell. I could have fallen asleep. This bath bomb has turned me into an addict. I am sad that I don't have my own tub so I can buy more of these. The only downside for some people, as others have said, would be the glitter. It's very pretty, but really sticks to you unless you rinse off in the shower. It didn't bother me, but it could be a turnoff for some people.
