I was wondering how in the world this product contains water (in the oat milk) but does not use a broad spectrum preservative? I've recently taken up canning and have learned that anything containing water will foster a ton of bacterial growth. I like the idea of using a paraben free lotion, but I don't want something that will go bad or that contains an ingredient I am unaware of.Asked on 6/7/2015 by Steph
A:We've re-balanced all of Dream Cream's ingredients to make it self-preserving. It took Daniel (the inventor) 97 tries to find the right balance. He took away a lot of the water and added more glycerin, which coupled with olive oil are the main self-preserving ingredients!Answered on 6/12/2015 by Pauline
Q:MY SON HAS A MILK ALLERGY. WILL THIS HAVE A NEGATIVE EFFECT ON HIS SKIN?Asked on 4/20/2015 by cristy from fla.
A:This product is vegan, so it does not contain any animal products of any kind, and as such, would not contain animal milk. That said, it is always best to run ingredients by a doctor-they are all listed on our website!Answered on 4/20/2015 by Sal
Q:Can I used this product regularly on my face? I have extremely dry skin on my face and love the way this feels on my hands when I tested it at the store. With the larger size it's certainly more economically buying this vs a Lush 1+ oz facial moisturizer.Asked on 4/14/2015 by Wulumuchi from Bay Area, CA
A:We did formulate the Dream Cream Lotion for usage on the body and hands, but we always encourage our customers to do whatever works best for them. If you wanted a recommendation on a facial moisturizer, I would check out Celestial!Answered on 4/15/2015 by Kels from LUSH Direct

Q:What is the difference in the regular dream cream and the one that says 'self-preserving'?Asked on 12/2/2014 by annette from Chicago, IL
A:What makes Dream Cream so effective? It contains every ingredient nature makes for soothing sore skin! One of our proudest product achievements ever, we love this body lotion because it makes people happy.
The calming blend of oat milk, lavender and chamomile goes to work soothing sensitive skin. Olive oil and cocoa butter are perfectly suited and incredibly effective for dry or chapped skin, and are especially gentle for even the most sensitive types.
Do your skin a favor, treat it right with Dream Cream.
What makes it self preserving vs. original formula is that it will not contain any Methylparaben or Propylparaben.

A:Yes you can take it, but it will be have to in a smaller 100mL (3.4 oz)sized container. I had a mild eczema on my face for the first time...I used my prescribed ointment to treat the symptoms along with this cream. So I can't say this really healed my eczema.. BUT this helped to keep my face moisturized while not causing any further break-out! It's totally worth trying!Answered on 9/4/2014 by YuJin from Florida
Regarding eczema, I suffer from it on my face which spreads around my eyes also; fist I used this item on all over my chin area to test and it calmed the surface of pealing skin quickly. since this is natural product I did not expect overnight success, however, my eczema did calmed, not cured immediately, it took a while for redness to go away. I would say the cream absorbs into skin amazingly that helps peeling scratchy skin significantly. It did not disturb my skin so I put all affected area on my face occasionally. It's much better than using Elidel, the prescription strong cream. I will continue to use this cream ; But this review is only on my case. My eczema can be milder than yours. I hope you can ask for a sample.Answered on 9/2/2014 by momo from SC
