I bought the baby sample of this lotion because I wasn't sure if I was willing to spend this much money on lotion. I have eczema on my hands so I use lotion a lot. Lately, the spots on my hands have been raising up, peeling, reddening, and feeling mostly unpleasant. After only 3 days of using this lotion, the redness has gone down and my skin looks really nice again! Cannot wait to go buy the big version of it now.

Dream cream was my favorite lotion ever too! I loved this stuff, the only thing to ever take away my eczema. I recently noticed that the cream had changed with the last batch i bought in July of 2008, but being hand-made i figured it may have been a little off with each person, i recently bought some more last week and am very disappointed. I asked the girls at the lush store if they had changed the formula and they said no, so i went online today and compared an old bottle i had to the new bottle and to the website and sure enough the ingredients are a little different this stuff is not even close to the same lotion. It's thinner like a liquidy lotion now, and just greasy, and not nearly as effective as the old dream cream. My eczema came back all over my legs, the new cream is not the same no matter what they say. The fact is it does not work for dry skin, eczema, winter skin etc. like it used to. So beware buyers, it's no longer worth the money. I am very disappointed lush i wish you would bring back the old dream cream.

Comments about LUSH Dream Cream:

I have terribly dry skin and eczema, so of course I gave this a try. I can't say with honesty that it helped the eczema. Or even the dryness, really. It is refreshing though, and I love the smell.

I give it the four stars because the smell is wonderful and I can't scratch when I just put this on, so it does help a little! ;)

Comments about LUSH Dream Cream:

I bought Dream Cream to use as an all-over body cream for every day, hoping it would make my skin super soft, silky, and sweet-smelling. It didn't meet my requirements for a go-to everyday lotion: the smell, which luckily is very subtle, is not my favorite, and because it is extremely moisturizing it feels a little heavy/tacky on the skin instead of the silky feeling I was looking for.

BUT it's amazingly effective on dry or irritated skin. In the winter, if my elbows or hands start getting chapped, this heals them overnight and they stay healed for days even if I don't reapply. When I bought Dream Cream I was having a problem with bumpiness of unknown cause on the back of my arms, which no lotion or treatment cured for months and months. After using Dream Cream they went away in a few days! I now use it as a miracle fix-it treatment for cuts, bruises, bug bites, razor burn, etc. and it makes everything heal almost overnight.

I'll definitely buy another jar when this one runs out.

I bought this on a whim when my normal lotion just wasn't cutting it any more and I needed something to calm my dry, itchy skin. Well it did that and as an added bonus, it's kept my acne from flaring up on my back and chest. I knew that shampoo and shower gel could flare it up but I didn't think about the lotion. So take a look at what you are using and think about it before you put it on. I love this stuff!!

    Comments about LUSH Dream Cream:

I bought this because of the great reviews it received. Unfortunately, I don't live near a Lush, the closest one is about an hour away. I stopped at one a few weeks ago and wanted to try something new and fell in love with Ro's Argan Body Conditioner. I ended up ordering that as well as the Dream Cream and I'm not sure if I just got a bad one but mine STINKS. Literally smells horrible. Like something I'm not even sure how to describe.

I gave it an extra star only because of the way it makes my skin feels. It is extremely moisturizing and is good for that if you don't mind smelling bad.

    Comments about LUSH Dream Cream:

Dream Cream and I didn't get along at first. I bought a tub because I wanted to experience Lush's #1 product but I didn't realize that I should treat this differently than other body creams I've used. When I first started using this, I would spread a big glop on my arms. The cream wouldn't sink in and would actually make my skin itch. After reading the Lush USA Forum, I realized that I didn't need nearly as much. Now, I use just one or two dabs on my arms, one on my chest, two to three on my legs, and one for my hands. It sinks in and my skin feels so much better. As a bonus, the soft lavender fragrance is really relaxing. While there are other Lush body creams that I prefer, Dream Cream is still a great product and I can see why it's so popular.

This is a decent lotion. Rubs in smoothly and quickly. But the smell is just not working for me. Almost to the point of I don't think I can finish the container. I'm just really disappointed because I love the Karma Kreme and this doesn't hold a candle to it.

        Comments about LUSH Dream Cream:

After obsessing over this on the website and debating on whether or not I should get it, I finally went in to the store. At first, smelling it in the pot, i almost changed my mind. I was expecting the scent to be like Fresh Farm or Dream Wash... Once I applied it to my skin, however, and it interacted with my body chemistry the ever so light scent came out. It was the same scent I was hoping for, just much lighter. Which is great as the scent isnt for everyone. I also got a sample of Dreamwash because unfortunately I couldnt afford to buy both as well as a sample of Ocean Salt.

I came home and after I used Ocean Salt (which i enjoyed, jury is still out as we will see what my skin has to say tomorrow.. So far so good!) Then i filled up the tub and shaved my legs using Ambrosia (another love of mine) as well as other sensitive bits. I took a small amount of the dreamwash for each leg and lathered them and really made sure my skin soaked in the goodness while my nose soaked in the relaxing scent. Out of the bath, i ran my King of Skin all over my legs and massage that in. The scent of that is so different from dreamwash I was concerned.. But the actually blended very well. Once the King of Skin was soaked in, i opened my brand new pot of Dream Cream and rubbed it all over my body..... It soaked in so well and my skin is absolutely luxurious. I love it. And I know the pot is going to last a LONG time. Found my go to lotion! Finally!

I just bought this the other day when I came into a local Lush store. I tried it and came back after letting the Dream Cream sit for a while. I have eczema, which means bad sensitive and dry skin. For me, this was a dream come true. After a shower or waking up, I apply the cream and it stays hydrated all day without reapplication. I don't itch anymore, my skin feels moisturized. Thank you to the store clerk who helped me. I can't repay her for her suggestion. Some people may be turned off by the smell. I was at first. But it doesn't bother anymore.

This product is worth its weight in gold..My husband suffers with itchy skin from Keratosis Pilaris..He has used rx meds, creams, and steriods prescribed from his Dematologist, they only ever provided a temporary relief..While in Chicago 2 years ago I bought this cream on a whelm, while shopping in their WaterTower store inside of Macy's..Brought it home with the intenions of giving to my youngest daughter, who also suffers with KP (without the itching), but has dry skin. The hubby decieded to give it a try, not thinging this was gonna be the answer. To his surprise it provided an immediate relief, and he has continued to use it faithfully for the past 2 years. The only complaint I would have is to transfer it to a different container if flying..the cream did leak out of the orinigal container this past summer while flying back and forth to NYC..

I have extremely dry skin that's easily irritated. A friend of mine recommended that I try dream cream, so I gave it a shot. I've tried a number of lotions and body butters, and I'm more impressed with this product than any other I've tried. The consistency is perfect, and my skin drinks it up. I've seen a noticeable difference in my skin - it's definitely softer and less irritated. Using it daily in the morning after I shower seems to work best!

                  Comments about LUSH Dream Cream:

This was one of my first Lush products, along with the Ocean Salt. At first the smell is a little off-putting. It's very herbal and smells like chamomile and cocoa butter, and the smell lasts a while. I thought it'd be handy for when it gets cold, though, and loved the way my hands felt with it after the Ocean Salt (can you tell I got the hand treatment?). Just on a whim, I put it on these scaly patches I have on my legs from a bad reaction to the EOS shaving cream. Nothing has touched these patches. all medicated and heavy duty moisturizers have soothed the areas, but they would be itchy and rough the next day. After a week of spreading the Dream Cream on them, they're completely gone! I also took the saleslady's advice and put it on some mosquito and ant bites I had on my ankles and feet, and they're completely healed as well! Officially a Lushie for life, and this lotion is amazing.

TL;DR: This stuff is amazing. It's a bit pricy, but it will last you a *long* time!

                    Comments about LUSH Dream Cream:

This lotion has been lasting me an amazingly long time. I dip my fingers into the tub after the shower and rub all over - a little goes a long way! I like to use it best at night, though, since it doesn't absorb extremely well during the summer heat (kind of feels a bit greasy mainly on my legs), but it does moisturize well and keeps my legs from feeling dry and itchy so it's worth it.

This is an excellent year-round daily body moisturizer good for all skin types. The scent is lovely, and the product cooling and absorbent. It was suggested to me by a sales associate for KP, but it didn't do much to help with that. No matter - works everywhere else!

Just an FYI to parents about this wonderful product. My 6-year old was eaten alive by a mosquito and had more than a dozen bites on her back. A friend recommended I use Dream Cream to soothe the itching and it worked! And quickly. We put it on at bedtime and when she woke up, several bites were gone and the itching was vastly improved. Obviously, her skin is tender due to her young age but not only did it relieve the bite itchiness, her young skin accepted the product without issue. I love it for myself too, it gives my skin a wondrous sheen. And I love it's scent too.

The Dream Cream is great for skin conditions, but because arthritis is a joint issue, finding something a bit more stimulating, that can penetrate a bit deeper, might be a better option. I get those sorts of patches all the time, and I wouldn't recommend using dream cream for this, as it can sometimes sting those patches is the patches are sort of hurting already. I would say to try Celestial face lotion by Lush, which works great for me!

I have a mixture of dry and oily skin around the t-zone on my face. I would avoid any areas that you don't want to look oily since Dream Cream has a bit of an oily feel to it, but it does help clear up the dryness when used wherever!

Yes! I have recently developed a dry flaky patch of skin on my hairline by my ear/temple area. At first I thought I'd have to go to my dermatologist for a medical fix, but thought I'd try stuff at home first. I smoothed a little Dream Cream on the patch right before bed and within 3 days, it was gone. I noticed improvement just the next morning, but it was completely cleared up after 3 days. No problems since!

I would definitely give it shot if nothing else is working for you. If you're like my son, I took him to doctors and dermatologists that gave us a little of this and little of that, but nothing seemed to work. Sure enough this did the trick.

As for Dream Cream, it's best used only for its intended purpose on the body and hands. For dryness and itchiness on the face, a moisturizer designed for the fine pores of the facial area would be a better option. I'd recommend the Skin Drink or the Skin's Shangri-La for very dry itchy patches on the face.

Is it possible for this product to make me break out? I used this on my whole body for months and I loved it because it made my skin so soft and almost completely cleared up my skin condition. But now I am breaking out a lot lately on my face, shoulders, and back. The more I use it, the more acne I get. Is there something in the product that could cause acne? Is there another product that does the same job as this product without the acne causing ingredients?

I am sorry to hear that the Dream Cream was not the one for you! I know that it works really well for lots of people, but everyone is different, and it may just be that the cream was too heavy for your skin. I personally found that our Retro product Skin Sin was a great option for a lighter body cream. It contains almond oil, which absorbs easily into the skin, and then soothing chamomile and balancing lavender, too. I would recommend looking for a moisturizer designed for your facial skin to use on your face, though, as the skin on your face is thinner and the pores are finer. Best of luck finding a cream that works better for you!

Due to each person's skin uniqueness, consider trying this cream, the natural ingredients and low amount of processing make it beneficial for most any type of skin, oat milk and lavender are especially soothing to skin.

The Dream Cream is great for use on hand and body, but we do not recommend using the Dream Cream on the facial skin. It's best to use a facial moisturizer for this purpose. For body- Dream Cream is fantastic for soothing itching and irritation as it contains lots of soothing oils like lavender, chamomile and rose, as well as calming oats.

The Dream Cream formula has not changed. In the summer when it's hot out, the texture can seem a bit thinner from the heat, however all its made the same way it always has been and contains all the same gorgeous ingredients.

The formula for Lush Dream Cream hasn't been changed. What is likely is that the Dream Cream was old. Due to the fact that a lot of the ingredients used by Lush have a shorter shelf life, they can go bad causing the texture of the moisturizer to change. Just be sure to check the use by date on the Dream Cream when you buy it for your sister.

I don't expect there should be any problems with this, however I'd recommend verifying with your pediatrician to be completely sure it would be suitable for your kids.

As long as the child hasn't shown any allergies or had any irritations from this product or any ingredients in it, it should be fine for use as long as a parent or adult supervises to make sure they don't consume the cream.

We have had lots of pregnant women fall in love with the Dream Cream during their pregnancies, because of how soothing and healing it is on the skin, but we would always recommend checking with your health care provider before using products during pregnancies. Although we use essential oils in relatively low quantities, some health care providers recommend avoiding certain ingredients or essential oils throughout pregnancy. Check in with yours, and see what they recommend (you can always print out a copy of the ingredients and bring it in with you to an appointment).
