After cleansing and toning your face, put a dab on your fingertip and pat gently onto clean, slightly damp skin. A little bit goes a long way. Re-apply as often as needed.

Mattifying fruit moisturizer
If your face is predominantly oily in your T-zone, Enzymion is the moisturizer for you! An incredible blend of astringent citrus fruits like papaya and lemon, Enzymion mops up excess oils and literally cleanses your face of dead skin and debris built up throughout the day. Nutrient-rich avocado and evening primrose oils replenish essential vitamins and minerals. We recommend pairing Enzymion with our refreshing sea salt scrub, Ocean Salt. The result? Skin that glows from the inside out.
- For smooth, matte skin: Enzymion’s freshly squeezed fruit juices give combination or oily skin a matte finish.
- Prep your face: Enzymion also doubles as a smoothing base or ‘primer’ under make up.
- Juicy, juicy tropical fruit: We use fresh papaya juice to mop up excess oils and leave your face feeling clean and fresh.

Q:I have oily skin. At work I am blotting oil off my shiny face every few hours or so. Does this product work for controlling oil and keeping my face matte all day or just for a while after I use it? I also have hormonal breakouts, but most of the time my skin is pretty clear. Does it do anything for blemishes or would another product be better?Asked on 3/8/2015 by Heather
A:Enzymion's freshly squeezed fruit juices give combination or oily skin a matte finish. If your face is predominantly oily in your T-zone, Enzymion is the moisturizer for you! An incredible blend of astringent citrus fruits like pineapple, papaya and lemon, Enzymion mops up excess oils and literally cleanses your face of dead skin and debris built up throughout the day. You should be matte for a long, long time.Answered on 3/21/2015 by Alexander from LUSH Direct
A:Well my regimen concerning Lush products goes
as follows: Wash with Coalface morning/night with
a Clarisonic brush. Then I apply pure tea tree oil to blemishes
And just a little pure coconut oil to the rest of my face/neck.
A little goes a long way! I know it sounds crazy, but
somehow the oil fights you making oil on your face!
Hope that helps!

Q:At the moment I use Let the Good Times Roll, Eau Roma Water, and Cosmetic Lad as my routine. I have very sensitive skin and mostly just acne on my forehead (slightly oily) and blackheads on my nose, but nowhere else. I was wondering if I should stick to my routine, or switch out Cosmetic Lad for this.Asked on 1/2/2015 by Jake from Charleston, SC
A:If you find that you are still experiencing an overproduction of oil in the skin, it might be a good idea to swap it out for Enzymion. Enzymion is really great at zapping extra oil, so it may be what you are looking for!Answered on 2/13/2015 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
A:Jake, I would recommend switching to this. I have the same issue with oily skin and it has helped tremendously. Leaves my skin with a light fresh non greasy feel all day long. I wear a hat for my job and sweat gets trapped there so I also have acne on my forehead sometimes and this helps keep the oil away and kind of acts as a barrier for me.Answered on 1/18/2015 by Shelby from Maryland
Q:Would this also help with blemishes, or would vanishing cream be the best choice?Asked on 12/3/2014 by pikachuu from United States
A:Hi there! Thanks for your question! Enzymion Moisturizer is great for If your face is predominantly oily in your T-zone, if not, Vanishing Cream works very well for acne-prone, oily skin as well, because of the amazing Witch Hazel cream!Answered on 1/2/2015 by Anonymous
A:For my skin, I found that the fruits in Enzymion actually act as an
exfoliant. So, i actually only use this every other day, or else I would
get blemishes.Answered on 12/4/2014 by Anonymous
Q:I LOVE the smells of your products but I always thought fragrance was a skin irritant. Is this correct? Thank youAsked on 5/27/2014 by Jo from Australia
A:"Fragrance", as it is listed on products, can be made up of many perfumes, some of which some individuals may find more irritating than others. We use the finest essential oils to perfume our products, and only use synthetic fragrances where absolutely necessary. For example, there is no apple-scented essential oil so we use a synthetic version. Because the fragrances we use are centered around pure, natural oils, many people find our products to be easy on the skin where they have previously found others to be irritating.Answered on 9/23/2014 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
A:I have super sensitive skin and Lush products have never bothered me. I think it's because their products are so plant-based.

Q:My skin tends to get oily throughout the day and I was wondering if I could use this without washing my face every time? I would like to use this throughout the day at school.Asked on 5/17/2014 by Lilian from Chicago
A:You don't need to wash your face every time you apply. Feel free to use it as much as you feel your skin needs it.Answered on 9/12/2014 by Anonymous
Q:If I apply this moisturizer in the morning , do I need to apply sunscreen after to protect my skin ?Asked on 4/7/2014 by philosophy from San Diego , CA
A:Yes, we would suggest applying sunscreen as well if you want sun protection as none of our moisturizers currently provide regulated SPF protection.Answered on 4/7/2014 by Kendra M from LUSH Direct
Q:How long does this product normally last? And should this be used once a day, or twice?Asked on 2/1/2014 by Alexis from Georgia
A:A little bit goes a long way with Enzymion so you can definitely expect it to last you for months depending on how much you are using, and how often you are using it. Whether you use it once or twice per day entirely depends on your skin's needs so it is best to experiment a little bit and see what suits you best!Answered on 3/21/2014 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
A:Enzymion is a great product! I use it twice a day because I have oily, dry skin. I have been using it for months now and I still have a little less than half left! This moisturizer works great and lasts a long long time!

A:This product usually lasts me several months, sometimes longer. I use it once a day, after I wash my face.Answered on 2/2/2014 by Anonymous
A:I use Enzymion in the morning under makeup. It's light and non-greasy with a very light scent. I use something heavier at night such as Celestial.

Q:I have acne prone, sensitive, oily skin. which would be better for me Enzymion or Vanishing cream? im looking for a product that's non irritating, balances oily skin, and helps with acneAsked on 1/18/2014 by lushie
A:Enzymion and Vanishing Cream are both great choices, but Vanishing Cream would probably have the advantage in this case as it's a bit more gentle, and it contains lavender, which does a great job at balancing out the skin!Answered on 3/21/2014 by Brandy from LUSH
Q:I have a raw fruit allergy (weird i know). even though my face is oily and filled with acne (puberty), im nervous this will cause me to have an allergic reaction on my face. its pretty mild, not like deadly or anything but still. help please?Asked on 8/30/2013 by anon
A:Unfortunately with cases like this, we can't give a complete answer, as our products are not tested for individuals with those specific allergies or sensitivities. We always recommend consulting your physician to make sure that the ingredients are alright for you to use. I'm so sorry!Answered on 9/20/2013 by Laura C from LUSH Direct
A:Honestly, if you have a raw fruit allergy I wouldn't want you to put this
on your face. I think that you'd be more upset that your face was itchy and
raw even if it was helping you.Answered on 9/8/2013 by Anonymous
A:Dear shopper, enzymion is a great facial moisturizer! It smells like avocados but isn't overpowering at all. It is great for oily faces and doesn't make your skin dry out. I hope you try this product because it works well for me!

A:Well, if you're allergic to fresh fruit, this has fresh fruit in it. It might cause a reaction. All you can do is spot test and see what happens. The thing that helped my "acne" (turns out it was actually eczema) was going on a gluten-free diet. If you really want to try this, maybe you could get a sample or something to try?
Hope this helps

A:This cream is very light and non-greasy. I actually use it in the morning under my makeup. The scent is not strong at all. It's probably worth a try!
Sent from my iPadAnswered on 8/31/2013 by Anonymous
A:Unfortunately, Enzymion moisturizer does contain fresh fruit products so
you might want to do a test on the back of your hand to see if you'll have
an allergic reaction. If you don't react, you're good to go! If you do,
there are plenty of other moisturizers at Lush that don't contain fresh
fruit and will still help with your oily skin and acne (puberty is the
worst!). You can also try toners and face washes that will help keep your
skin healthy. You should definitely go to the Lush store and have them help
you out! Hope this helped.Answered on 8/30/2013 by Anonymous
Q:I currently use Vanishing, and although I love it, I was curious as to whether or not Enzymion might be better for acne-prone skin. I tend to clear up pretty well when I exfoliate regularly, so maybe the AHAs in Enzymion would be better?Asked on 6/6/2013 by Naomi-omi-omi
A:Both moisturizers are good for acne-prone skin, but Enzymion is a really great option because of the AHAs from all of the fruit juices found in it, as well as other ingredients that clear off the skin of dirt and debris and regulate oil production.Answered on 10/2/2013 by Kendra M from LUSH Direct
Q:What is the difference between Enzymion Moisturizer and the Vanishing Cream? I already bought the Dark Angel Cleanser and it makes me skin feel velvety soft and clean, but I still need a good moisturizer to mattify my face. I don't have acne, just oily skin and some redness on my cheeks.Asked on 6/4/2013 by Laura from El Paso, Texas
A:Enzymion moisturizer is one of our lightest moisturizers and contains a number of ingredients to brighten your skin and regulate oil production. While Vanishing Cream is the absolute lightest one we make and both would be suitable for the skin you've described, Enzymion sounds like it would be slightly more beneficial as it contains aloe vera to help soothe your skin and will calm the redness you've described.Answered on 10/2/2013 by Kendra M from LUSH Direct
Q:What are the different benefits from this and vanishing cream? I know they are both for oily skin but i'm not sure which one to use.Asked on 5/3/2013 by Jordan
A:Vanishing Cream is our absolutely lightest moisturizer as it only contains a small amount of shea butter to lightly condition the skin. Additional ingredients like lavender balance your face's oil production and witch hazel tightens the pores. Enzymion is slightly heavier but also good for oily skin. It contains cocoa butter and avocado oil to lightly moisturize your face and a number of fruit juices to clear and brighten your skin.Answered on 9/24/2013 by Kendra M from LUSH Direct
A:I would say you're getting the benefits of all Natural ingredients when you're using Enzymion. I'd also say Enzymion has much lighter texture than vanishing cream, which feels heavy on the skin. I had plenty of acne scars and I use this with Dark Angels(which exfoliates the dead skin), then follow up with Tea Tree Water toner, a thin layer of Enzymion and have noticed a difference in my complexion within a couple weeks. Hope this helps!Answered on 5/8/2013 by MNWalls from Indy
Q:Well, my dad's birthday is coming up and his face is seriously oily. Like seriously oily. In the middle of the afternoon he gets oil in his eyes because his eyelids are dripping with oil. His pores are also really big. So I was thinking of getting him this because maybe it would help him with his oilyness problem. Will it work for him? Thank yoU!Asked on 1/17/2013 by Obsessed Lushie from Singapore
A:Using Enzymion could be a good option to try, as well as looking at a face cleanser like Coal Face, which has amazing ingredients like charcoal and licorice to control excess oil!Answered on 8/14/2013 by Anonymous
A:Well, if you're father's skin is *seriously* oily, you might want to start with the lightest moisturizer that LUSH carries - Vanishing Cream - and then if you find his skin needs a bot more hydration, you can try something a bit more rich, like Enzymion. Vanishing Cream has Witch Hazel in it, which is like a nuclear missile against oil. The citrus oils in Enzymion would help as well, but for big pores and serious oil issues, start with Vanishing Cream first, I'd say.Answered on 4/14/2013 by Alex from Vancouver, Canada
Q:How long usually will it stay before expired?Asked on 2/26/2012 by newbie daisy
A:Enzymion has a shelf-life of 14 months. It has a sticker on the back which says when it was made, who made it, and when it is best used by.Answered on 2/27/2012 by Megan from LUSH
