I had to try this mascara after I saw it featured in Lucky magazine. I have tried several other mascara brands over the years, mainly basing my decision on whether they were waterproof and cruelty-free. This one isn't waterproof, and that does bother me some, because I really am the kind of person who is vain enough to wear mascara to the pool. Also, it will run when you cry or even when your eyes tear a bit, but I have had other so-called "waterproof" mascaras crumble up and fall off on me, leaving polecat-like rings. At least when this stuff runs it doesn't get particles into my eyes and wipes off easily.

This stuff is really, truly very gentle. It used to be that I looked forward to the relief I would get from taking off my makeup at night. I was very tired of using mascaras that seemed to give off irritating fumes that would make my eyes tear almost as soon as I put it on and would make my lashes feel as if they were thickly coated in stiff plastic. This mascara feels completely natural. It is so gentle I could take a nap in it. I hardly even notice it's there, and I love that. It makes my eyes feel much less tired.

The bottle could be redesigned a bit. I am aware that Lush is going for a specific look with the "medicine-dropper" bottle, and it is the perfect size for traveling by plane, but the brush is just too short and should be remade. I separated my shoulder recently and having to hold my arm at a painful angle just to accomodate the shorter length of the brush handle is not an experience I wish to repeat. Putting on makeup should not exacerbate an injury, okay?

It may not give the extravagant movie-star lashes that some women want for an evening out, but it creates a nice effect for daytime. I think that if the brush bristles were redesigned a bit, it could create a more striking effect.

Overall, I would give this mascara 5 stars for softness and gentleness, 4 stars for effect, 3.5 for lack of waterproofing, and 2 for the brush. But I feel that the gentleness of the product outweighs almost everything but the problems with the brush, so I will continue to use it.

This mascara is hands down the best mascara I have ever used. It goes on so easily and comes off with just water. Now that may seem like a con for some people, but I don't like to use chemicaly/oily products on my face (makeup remover). I also tend to be a little sloppy putting eye make up on and this is so easy to take off my eyelid with just a q-tip and some water. Its also a perfect size to stash in my bag when I'm going out. I can use just one application for day time and then later in the day apply more mascara without feeling clumpy and heavy. It looks great and I'm obessesed!

I was skeptical about buying this mascara from some of the reviews but after testing it in store I went for it, and I'm glad I did!

I got an eye infection in February (no relation to LUSH) and have barely worn eye make-up since. As an avid falsie wearer I was devistated. Anytime I would use mascara on the weekends my eyes would become irritated and itchy. When I saw Lushs mascara I knew it would be easy on the eyes because of the natural ingredients so I went to check it out.

I've been wearing this for about two weeks now and have had no problems! I've even slept in it! Very gentle on the eyes and gives the lashes pretty good length/coverage! As for the complaints on the mini brush, I think I find it easier to use. It allows me to get closer than I would be able to with a long brush!

I love this mascara! I use it almost on a daily basis. It is so gentle and easy to remove at the end of the day! It can get a little messy, but I think that is because I'm still trying to get used to the short wand. The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't come in a brown or dark brown color. I have red hair and fair skin so black mascara can look a little harsh on me. I end up using a little bit of the mascara to keep it from looking too harsh. LUSH can you please make this mascara in a brown shade?

I have a hard time with Mascara due to very sensitive eyes and skin. Most Mascara's I have used leave my eyes feeling very heavy and itchy. It was not uncommon for me to have to remove Mascara only a few hours after applying it.

Not so with Eyes Right. It's so light that I don't feel like I'm wearing it, and it doesn't clump, which means my lashes actually look longer and fuller instead of clumpy. I'm so happy I was able to find this in time for my sister's wedding.

I really liked the idea. I also liked the brush. The wand however is super short. Impractically short. In fact, I dropped the wand a couple of times and had to wipe it off the counter. No good for first thing in the morning. I would LOVE this mascara if it was a little longer.

i have the most sensitive eyes known to man! my eyelids swell up and get really itchy with most makeup and my eyelashes get irritated and fall out when i use ANY mascara, even the clear kind. I was really hoping that this product would allow me to glam it up...AND IT DID! OMG YOU GUYS I LOVE THIS MASCARA! it is light weight and i have had no issues with it bothering my eyelids or lashes. i am Eyes Right's biggest fan, and i will never ever use another mascara. I know a lot of people have commented that the wand is too small, but its really not that bad. Yes, it may be a tad short, but all in all its not that big of a deal.

I love this mascara. I'm not a fan of clumpy, over-the-top spider lashes. This mascara gives just the right amount of lift and color without turning your lashes into lint catchers, and if you want more volume, you can simply add another coat. The wand could be just a smidge longer, and it's a bit messy so I'd advise putting your eye shadow on after your mascara. Still, I can rest easy knowing this won't be causing any damage to my eyes. Well worth it.

Normally I would have to use a special eye makeup remover to get my mascara off, but Eyes Right comes off easily and you don't have to scrub at all!! (Though for getting off other hard to remove makeup I would recommend Ultra Bland. It's very gentle and effective and good for your skin!)

I'm tired of wearing mascara during the day and looking like I'm going to a party, so this was a lot better for me. And it's so gentle that when I tried it on, I accidentally bumped the wand into my eye and it didn't even burn. Normally my other mascaras irritate my eyes a bit and I start to tear every once in a while because of it. I've been using this new mascara for like a week and my eyes feel fine :) I love it.

For someone who doesn't regularly take off their makeup every night, I thought it would be a great idea to try something with less harsh chemicals and additives. This mascara is perfect. It gives the right darkness to the lashes with no clumping. I've also experienced no irritation, as I have in the past with other mascaras.

The only thing I would improve is the container, as many other reviewers have mentioned. A longer neck would be much appreciated.

My dear friends, I'm a natural redhead and my fellow ginger people know all too well, that means my eyelashes are incredibly light -- if you look at me from far away I look like I have none at all. This mascara makes sure my brown eyes POP! It glides on easily, makes my lashes look thick and healthy, and washes off easily as well. Also, no burning eyes if you accidentally smudge a little bit. The price is great too! You get a natural mascara for just as much as you would pay at the drug store for some chemically debauched tube. You even get a little bit more thanks to the packaging! Get and you won't ever look back!

I love this mascara and I use it daily. It doesn't irratate my eyes and it leaves my lashes looking dark and beautiful. The down side is that the applicator is short and makes it difficult to put on. The mascara also doesn't give your lashes that thick look that is nice to have for a night out, for that I'll stick with my Dior mascara but for every day wear this one is perfect.

Sorry, Lush. Love your products, but this one smeared like mad. I just couldn't avoid the raccoon eyes look, and I really, really try to avoid rubbing my eyes during the day. It may just smear because of the natural ingredients. If so, I suppose I'll just have to live without mascara.

I just got this and only just used it this morning but my first surprise was the wand! There is no length to it. I had a very hard time coating my lashes sufficently. I hope with a couple more uses it becomes easier! Other wise it wears nicely and I like it.
