Q:Can this be used in the shower?Asked on 7/26/2015 by SBP from Puerto Rico
A:Theoretically, yes. But there are better products more suited for this. The Floating Island bath melt is fizzy. If you rub it on you during a shower it will crumble.
I'd suggest using a body butter instead for the shower. Aqua Mirabilis has a sandlewood fragrance like Floating Island and rose. It also has bits of almond to exfoliate your skin. If you don't like or need exfoliation, try the King of Skin body butter. Great products.Answered on 7/30/2015 by Anonymous
A:This is intended to be used in just the bath.Answered on 7/29/2015 by Kels from LUSH Direct
A:No, I wouldn't think you would get much benefit from using this bath melt in
the shower. It is sold as a bath melt meaning it is meant to melt slowly in
bath water not melt quickly in shower water and wash down the drain
immediately.Answered on 7/27/2015 by kc_train from Kansas
Q:Will this leave substantial tub residue or clog the drain? I know you aren't supposed to pour grease in the kitchen sink, and I wondered if the butters in this worked similarly.Asked on 2/26/2015 by Malli from Ithaca, NY
A:The bath melts, bombs and bubble bars are designed to leave as little residue as possible, but if you are concerned, it is always a good idea to rinse out the bath tub after you have used any of the bubble bars. This prevents the possibility of leaving a film or residue on the tub.Answered on 3/21/2015 by Emily from LUSH Direct
Q:How long does it take a bath melt to totally dissolve?Asked on 1/18/2015 by Kayla from Mn
A:Approximately 5 minutes.Answered on 1/18/2015 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
Q:Has anyone ever used this with a bath bomb too, or would that be too much??Asked on 5/8/2013 by MNWalls from Indy
A:It is never too much! Floating Island pairs wonderfully with most of the bath bombs, as it has such a gentle scent that is compatible with a lot of products.Answered on 9/25/2013 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
A:I can now answer my own question. Nope its not too much. I tried a bath melt, with a bath bomb, bubble bar, AND Flying Fox body wash! Heck no it wasn't too much at all! I was in Heaven. Skin was so soft.Answered on 5/17/2013 by MNWalls from Indy
