Ever since I started using Lush products I have been a jasmine addict. I love love love the smell of jasmine. It's almost a problem, but only for my wallet. So you'd think I would be super eager to try flying fox, right? Actually, I was really skeptical. Why? Because I HATE honey. I hate the smell feel and taste of it. But after mustering the courage to smell it in store, I may not hate it that much. Flying fox has become my favorite shower gel ever and one of my favorite lush products. the scent is so relaxing and really lifts my mood. What's also great is I can smell it throughout the day on my arms. Since flying fox was able to defeat my honey hate and enable my jasmine addiction, it has become a must-have for me.

So I fell in love with this based solely on the description-Jasmine, Ylang Ylang, and honey? HOW CAN THIS GO WRONG?

What I wasn't expecting was to love it as much as I do. I LOVE the scent. It's sweet and sultry but not overpowering, without even a hint of "wet baby powder." (Which is what I think most perfumes and colognes smell like.)

But the best thing ever is what happened when I used it on my hair. The lather felt amazing, and after all was said and done, my hair felt EVEN BETTER. Without any conditioner at all.

I started using this product when I was living in the desert. (No, seriously. Northern-European hair in the Middle East? Let's just say the sun and sand were not kind.) My hair was SO dry. Flying Fox was like a drink of water for my fried hair. It left my hair feeling SO soft I couldn't stop touching it. And the glorious smell stays with me all day. I find myself shaking my head sometimes just for an extra burst of scent.

Anecdote about the scent? I shower last thing at night, right before bed. I was out with a friend one evening, and as he was hugging me goodnight (a full 24 hours after I last used Flying Fox)he inhaled, then looked at me and said "You're right. Your hair DOES smell amazing!"

So. Seriously? This stuff. (As a note, I should say that this doesn't last long because I love it so much. You really don't need a whole lot, I just...can't control myself sometimes. I'll wash myself twice to be sure. Ordering the biggest bottle, next time!)

I love this shower gel it doesn't take a lot but the smell stays with you for a long time along with the other products that you use along with it from the top of your head to the tips of your toes . Lush make you look and feel GREAT I am a full believer in the product !!!!!!!

I just used Flying Fox for the first time. At first I was intimidated by the strong smell of the Honey and Jasmine, but when used, its not strong at all to me. First thing I asked the associate is if it lathers well, she said yes, and they were telling the truth. I used it with Floating Island bath melt, and skin was so soft. I will enjoy using this bottle and will buy again!

So, this was the product ( 5 or 6 years ago) that made me fall in love with Lush. Strangely, it seems to smell better as it ages- it gets spicier. It's a moody, sexy smell without being overwhelming or too perfume-y. Love it.

This body wash is fantastic and definitely my favorite. It lathers nicely (only need about a dime-sized drop in the loofa!) and smells GREAT. And as advertised, it not only leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized, but I always seem to be in a foxy mood, too. Go figure ;)

Amazing every lasting jasmine fragrance! Even before using it there is awesome fragrance all around you and when you wash it off, the fragrance lingers making the feeling of bath still fresh after longer periods of time. I took only a pea size amount and it lathered up so well! Ever lasting product! I am going to try other highly reviewed bath essentials too!

At first I thought it had an earthy tone mixed in with the jasmine and wasn't sure if I liked it. Now I can't get enough! The honey and jasmine work so well together!I noticed my bottle shrinking down quickly and found my husband is addicted too! Anyone questioning if they should try it,jump on in because it's fine!

I love the smell (I purchased one more for my mom as well the minute my package arrived) but it doesn't seem to lather very well and is not very moisturizing afterwards. But since I usually apply lotion, or Lush's Body Conditioner, it doesn't bother me as much even though I wish I could layer up the smells so I wouldn't lose its lovely scent.

This is my favorite LUSH shower gel! (My second fave is It's raining men) This smells absolutely wonderful! It smells like honey with a touch of jasmine, and a hint of lilly. At first I wasn't too fond of the smell but after I used it in the shower, I was hooked. Although I do recommend buying the smallest bottle first, as it can be an acquired smell for some people, and I could see that. It lasts a very long time, and you don't need very much. I put a little in hands and just wash away! Love this product, I highly advise buying this shower gel if you love honey, and like jasmine. It's beautiful, and flirty! When my bottle runs out im gonna jump for the HUGE 16.9 oz bottle :)

I've had ingrown hairs covering my legs since I first started shaving and have never been able to get rid of them. I bought Flying Fox and have only shaved with it 4 times and my ingrown hairs are already mostly gone; I maybe have three or four on each thigh. I pour a dime size amount on an exfoliation glove and scrub before and after shaving. I can't believe how well it has worked, I will actually be able to wear shorts this summer and not be self-conscious. I also really love the strong jasmine smell. I only wish the scent lingered longer after showering.

My skin quickly absorbs scents, so sadly the scent doesn't last very long on my skin. When I returned to try to find something to pair this with, Lust was recommended. Whenever I use this shower gel + scent combo, I'm ALWAYS in a better mood than I was before!

I've also used this as a shampoo, and the scent definitely stayed longer. Fantastic when my hair has been unruly oily. Also awesome as a bit of bubblebath!

I got a sample of Lust bar soap with another order and immediately LOVED the smell! It made me feel sexy and confident. I figured it was the jasmine scent so I ordered Flying Fox Shower gel. I'm very happy with my purchase and I will always buy this shower gel! It cleans, it's fun, and makes me and my bathroom smell wonderful and sexy. Also get Lust perfume if you want a little extra UMPH before a date ;)

I bought this shower gel after scouring Lush's website in search for something that would help relieve the worn down, sad feeling I get from being overworked. I read over a few things and picked Flying Fox solely on description. This is my first shower gel from lush and it has completely sold me. The scent is very strong however I would describe it as smelling of cactus flower, and orange blossom honey as opposed to the common "moth ball" scent. It is a little musky, but if you've ever been to a humid botanical garden, the scent should be quite familiar.

I love this product. I use it in the shower almost every single day. It smells amazing and always makes me feel more relaxed and happy. I can use it as a shampoo as well as a body wash and I love the way the scent lingers on my skin and hair. It drives my husband wild ;) There is only one thing that I don't like about it and that is the price. It is expensive for me and my budget. I got it for a birthday present because my husband knows I love lush and I had been given a sample previously. I couldn't stop raving about it! I just wish it were a little more friendly to my budget. The small bottle does work for when I travel because it is small (not airplane small, but good for non-flying overnights).

This product smells absolutely amazing. It's like bathing in a pot of jasmine tea with honey. It also is very long-lasting because it's so concentrated (you only need a tiny bit!). I use this when I use my fair trade honey shampoo, and my showers are like heaven :).

Smells like fresh picked flowers! It lasts long because you only need a quarter size to lather up nice and bubbly!!! I love this one!

I love this stuff. It smells great. My sensitive skin that is usually dry and cracky in the winter is soft and moisturized.
It doesn't lather up that well, but I just put it on a loofa, and that takes care of that! I would recommend this to any one who likes the smell of jasmine.

Well, this is the flying fox. When I first smelled it in the store, I loved it, and don't get me wrong I still do love it, but it's not a shower gel like ponche or happy hippy that has that timeless scent. The scent grows a bit strong and pungent after a while, then again jasmine is not all that fantastic to me. I still use this shower gel frequently, but not as much as my all time favorites. Unfortuantely, this one did not make the permanent shelf and I will not repurchase, but if you are a jasmine lover, you should completely go for it!

First of all, this is the first thing i've ever tried from Lush. I've browsed online a bunch, but I didn't want to buy anything without talking to someone in the store first because i've had pretty bad eczema ever since I was little. I ended up buying this along with the Ceridwen's Cauldron bath melt. Origally I picked this up because of the name (I love foxes) and I really fell in love with the jasmine and honey scent that isn't at all overpowering or too sickly sweet as you might guess. I have never used any shower gels that aren't drying to my skin while still smelling fantastic. Because of my skin condition I can't use anything with synthetic scents (even laundry detergent) and every other natural soaps i've used don't lather well and always leave a layer of reside on my skin. Flying Fox lathers great and isn't the least bit sticky. Not to mention the scent lasts all day!
