How to use
Fill your bathtub with warm water, drop in the Bath Bomb and lay back to enjoy its lovely color and gorgeous fragrance. Some LUSH Bath Bombs contain flower petals and others have secret surprises (if you prefer not to have these pieces floating in your tub, wrap the Bath Bomb in a recycled nylon before use). To make your experience even more memorable, combine your fragrant Bath Bomb with a Luxury Bath Melt.

Roll in a fresh, spring meadow

If you need an escape from city life, drop one of these into the bath and sink into a flower-filled woodland. Fox in the Flowers smells like a fresh spring meadow, filled with tall verdant grasses and blooming wild flowers. As it fizzes away, it releases a multitude to dried flowers; blue mallow, chamomile, rose buds and lime tree. Its green scent is thanks to a good helping of chlorophyll, which transports you to another time and place. You'll feel like Maid Marion washing in a sun-dappled pool ready for Robin to get back from a hard day's wealth redistribution.

Features

  • Our ‘greenest’ smelling Bath Bomb: Thanks to a helping of chlorophyll and nettle absolute, Fox in the Flowers smells just like fresh flowers.
  • For the true ‘outdoor experience’: We recommend pairing this fox with our Grass shower gel.
  • The soft scent of spring: Blue mallow and lime tree flowers turn your bath into a springtime meadow.

A very lovely bath! Honestly, I see "fox" on any label and am tempted to get it, just with my (animal) fox obsession. I was expecting a 100% grassy smell, which I don't mind, since I love the scent of a freshly mowed lawn.
BUT: This bath smelled more like wildflowers in an afternoon sunny hike, than any grassy lawn. In fact, 'lawn and sod' is only one 'note' of the bomb's scent. If you're a natural flora type, that adores how the woods and fields smells in the sun, It's wond-er-ful. In fact, there is this extremely pleasant after scent that is not grassy at all, but more like smelling flowers on the wind all day long in your hair and on your skin. Not at all hippy-like, more "middle ages". I put a squirt of Flying fox in the tub with it, and washed up with Sultana, and completed my fairy princess transformation.:D
AND Honestly, there was not as much flower floaties as some of the other bombs lush serves up. I was expecting something on the lines of Chelsea Gardens, Supernova or Christmas Party and got maybe 1/3 the amount of floaties.

This was another purchase after being told "If you love English Countryside, you WILL ADORE this!!!".

Er. No. Sorry.

I knew going in that there was going to be flotsam, so what I ended up with wasn't particularly annoying. However, the petals that stuck to the side of my fiberglass tub also had colored water that made a stain. Sigh.

There were a lot of things about this ballistic that could have been better but actually smelling like a floral shop as in FLORAL not GRASSY would have been nice. The color of the water was OK and the floaty bits were OK. However, the scent was too grassy for me. Thankfully, it wasn't long lasting either.

Another retro dud for me.

Comments about Fox in the Flowers Bath Bomb:

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this bath bomb! I used this bath bomb for the first time on a really cold winter day when I was dying for spring to come around the corner. It smelled my whole bathroom up with the scent of plants and that fresh "green" smell. To have the flower floating around you in the tub was also a very enchanting experience. I only wish they sold this bath bomb in stores.

Comments about Fox in the Flowers Bath Bomb:

Going by the description I really wanted to try this so I ordered it. While the smell is pretty interesting... It simply does not deliver. It smells literally like a meadow. But when I put it in my bath tub the water turned a pea green color for like a minute and the smell almost went away after a minute and all I was left with was a bunch of gross leaves, sticks and weltered flowers. It almost looked like someone grabbed a few handfuls of things they would find on an outdoors hike and threw it in a bath bomb. Which I am ok with other than it wasn't attractive, and did nothing to enhance my bath. I would say stay away from this one.

Comments about Fox in the Flowers Bath Bomb:

So today my hubby went on his first ever business trip. I was off of work, feeling blue, and it was cold, grey, and rainy outside. Luckily my box from Lush arrived in the afternoon. I live in the middle of the city, and loove animals and greenery, so Fox in the Flowers called to me despite the lackluster reviews. At first smell (still in the wrapper), I was worried. It smelled like straight up grass. However, when I dropped it in the bath, the scent calmed and became a beautiful fresh, floral grass. I was immediately transported to cloud 9 and felt like I was lounging about in my own private meadow. I LOVE Lush baths. Love them. But I overly lingered in this gorgeous and natural bath until the water turned cold. The flowers were gorgeous and I had no problem picking them out of the water at the end of my bath. Anyone who would not like this should put the bomb in a nylon. Beautiful, gentle, fresh, natural bathing experience!

Comments about Fox in the Flowers Bath Bomb:

While most bath bombs can be grouped into one of three catagories- floral, fruit, or sweet- "the fox in the flowers" is the first bomb I've used that delves into the woodsy/ outdoorsy territory. Intrigued by the name and my love of woodsy fragrances, I ordered this one online and was very pleased.

The smell started out a bit too strong for me, but after a few minutes it mellowed nicely into a smell I can best compare to sitting in a wooded glen on a warm spring day. It is definately a more chlorophyll/ grass scent, with just the slightest hint of flowers, so people expecting a more floral smell may be disapionted. But I loved it! I was reading the book "Watership Down" in the tub, and I couldn't have picked a scent that better matched the rolling green fields and mossy woodlands described in the book. The Nettle Absolute, Chamomile and Rose helped my dry, eczema-prone skin feel moisturized and much less irritated than normal.

The only problem I had with it was the clean-up process afterwords- there were a ton of flowers and leaves to clean up and the water left behind an icky dark green residue on the sides of the tub. Although this is definately an unique product I will be getting again, next time I will be putting it in a nylon to avoid the mess I had this time.

All I can say about this bomb are good things. I love the light green color, I love the dried flowers, and I love the scent of a spring meadow so much I felt like I landed into a scene from Bambi. If you have a problem with the flowers in your tub, then I suggest tying this bomb in a little satchel of tule or mesh. But to me, the best part of this bomb is the dried flowers.

Before I start discussing my cons for this product, I have to say is that the water turned into the perfect shade of green for the theme it was going for.
Now, I will say that I did use a nylon bag to keep the little stuffs from floating around my tub. I'm not sure if that may have had any effect on the scent but there was barely any scent at all when I used it. I know it would have smelled lovely because the bomb itself smelled nice but I just don't know what went wrong.

I ordered Fox in The Flowers in my very first LUSH order. I got exactly what i was expecting. The water smelled like damp grass and rose petals and turned a lovely green color. I wasn't expecting quite as much dried flowers as there were, but they really made the experience all the better! I recommend using this in only slightly warm water, rather than steaming hot because the smell gets a bit distorted in the heat. The clean up was tedious, but it was worth it to feel like a goddess for an afternoon.

Although I can understand some people's complaints with this bath bomb, I thought it was a wonderful experience. Of course, I also used to bring in flowers to put in my bath anyway.

My bath bomb was rather strong in terms of scent, and I couldn't have been happier with the lovely pale green color. What made the experience even better was including half of a green bubbleroon. The two products were made for each other!

A definite treat in my collection.

I was underwhelmed with this bath bomb. It smelled great in my hand, but it fizzed out really fast and I could barely smell anything. It turned the water a soft green color, which was nice. I'm not really sure why people complain about the flowers and bits floating in the water - just put it in a nylon like they suggest. I used one and there was no need for clean up afterwards. I used a little Tramp shower gel to add bubbles and some scent, since I could barely smell this bath bomb at all.

I was excited to try Fox after reading the reviews (and having a fair amount of xp with Lush bath bombs!)... It smells lovely, if a bit "pale", in the package and while dissolving, but once it is dissolved in the bath it smells like very little and the only real sense I had that it was in the bath was the dried flowers floating around. These flowers are fun, but, they do make quite a mess in the tub, so watch out for that if you are very neat. I have come to expect tinted water and a smell that lingers from Lush bath bombs (&bubble bars), so this may simply be that my expectations were too high for this product... If you are looking for a very mild bath bar, or you're super-natural and don't want to really be able to tell your bath has extra in it, then it might suit better.

The smells and the colors were o nice and relaxing, I think it's the best bath I've had to date. Also, the flowers were a bit of a mess, but I was able to scoop most of them up before I drained the bath, so it wasn't really that much a pain in the butt.

Absolutely lovely. One my all-time favorite bath products. I felt like I was floating in a woodland pool - beautiful outdoorsy/grassy smell and floating bits of flowers. What the other reviewers say is true - there is about 2 tbs. of flower parts that you should catch with a drain guard/hair catcher to keep from clogging the drain and it is the only bomb that has left a bathtub ring even with a rinse with the detachable shower head. That said, this is one of the most "natural" feeling bombs and, to me, worth the mess that goes hand in hand with nature :)

Comments about Fox in the Flowers Bath Bomb:

I really like this bath bomb. It is a unique bath experience! Water turned a light, seafoam green color and was full of small meadow flowers, and pieces of leaves. Yes, leaves! The whole bathroom smelled like the woods in spring. Fresh and relaxing. If you aren't willing to do a little cleanup afterwards...don't use. I thought it was totally worth it.

This bath bomb was extremely mess and left a ton of green residue in the tub! The smells was okay, not really my style, but could see why some people liked it. I did soothe and soften my skin, but really the mess was not worth it.

I love the way this one smells. It's very soothing and reminds me of a warm spring day. The flowers were a bit of a hassle to clean up afterward, but they didn't damage my tub, fortunately.

This product will not appeal to you if you are not particularly fond of the smell of freshly cut grass. It seriously smells more like grass than anything else, and the amount of flowers in this bath bomb is ridiculous. I had to clean them out of my bathtub, and the bath bomb left green residue in my bathtub. A lot of the flowers also wound up in my hair, and I'm still finding pieces of flowers in my hair. I will definitely not buy this product again, but if you like the smell of grass and don't mind the mess, then go for it.

Comments about Fox in the Flowers Bath Bomb:

This smells very "green" like leaves. There are tons and tons of flowers in this, but most of them are broken pieces and tiny sticks. I love the petals, but it gets very messy.

If I bought this again, I'd be more likely to use it as an air freshner. It looks and smells gorgeous, but there are better bath bombs for bathing.
