This was the first solid shampoo that I had ever tried... Since using it the first time, I have never looked back. I love this stuff. It smells really good, and it works great. I personally find that I cant use it without a conditioner, but others have been able to. I really just love how well it works and how awesome it is.

I was really happy with it at first. Lathered up easily, smells good, and makes my hair soft and shiny. I have shoulder length hair that is thin and slightly wavy.

However, after two weeks, the bar broke apart and i was left with chunks. I poured warm water on it and formed it into a solid bar again, but to no avail; it doesn't lather up anymore.

I won't buy this again because, although the bar itself is great, it doesn't last long.

I have wavy hair with some curly locks, they get very dry if I don't use a conditioner. I used Godiva without any conditioner because it said you could use it like a shampoo+conditioner and it dried my hair out a little, but I was totally in love with its intense jasmine perfume and I had expected the dryness for I had read few reviews before, so I can't wait to wash my hair again with this beautiful golden pill, adding a matched conditioner maybe!

I have tried so many different products. This has been by far the best shampoo of ANY of the numerous salon or organic products I have ever bought for shampoo. I used to think it was the conditioner I really had to watch for and after using this with my conditioner which is about 65.00 a bottle - IT IS AMAZING. I have even been using the lush conditioner which is WAY cheaper for the bottle and I have to use way less and it goes so much father. 5 washes in and im in love. I will not be buying liquid shampoo again and I am going to be trying the volumizing bar shampoo Dec 1st. MUST HAVE, this will save me so much money.

First off I am an EXTREME Lush fanatic. :) But I was super hesitant to try a solid shampoo. I constantly am on Lush.com looking for new and seasonal products to try when I came across Godiva, this little guy had pretty awesome reviews so I decided to give it a whirl. Boy I am glad I did!! Way better than any of the Lush liquid shampoos or conditioners I have used. My hair is kind of high maintenance with oily roots and really dry ends. I need a shampoo that will clean thoroughly but still moisturize, I hit the jackpot with Godiva! Great lather, gives hair lots of volume, and leaves hair silky smooth. I personally really enjoy the floral scent, but it might not be someone else's cup of tea. This truly is my hair savior!! Buy it now!!!!

I think this is the best smelling LUSH product on the market. I usually use the Jumping Juniper shampoo, but wanted to try something new. This worked well on my fine, thin hair and also on my boyfriends thick hair (the smell was a little feminine for him though). It lathered like you wouldn't believe. I find the shampoo bars in general to be surprisingly easy to use and long-lasting.

Great-smelling solid shampoo. Seriously, I had to keep this in the tin, because if I didn't, my whole house would smell like this fragrant bar! Great if you want to leave an impression scent-wise, but I've found it works about the same as its solid peers. No residue, just clean hair. I did find it worked better when I had very short hair (I needed less product) than it does now that my longer, curly locks.

This shampoo/conditioner worked great for a while, but the shampoo portion gets used up faster than the coco butter chunks. So eventually the bar starts to fall apart and you are left with 20+ little yellow conditioner chunks. This one was not for me, but I am still a huge fan of LUSH!

This was a gift recommended for me because I have long, thick hair. It's perfect for travel because it doesn't take up any space in your TSA-approved toiletry bag. I recently brought it on my honeymoon to a small Central American island; my hair was left feeling luscious, air-dried quickly, and had an amazingly floral scent all day and all night long! Because of my thick, sometimes greasy hair, I did have to wash my hair twice -- the first time it lathers only partially, but the second time is perfect! I am careful to store the bar on its side while drying so I never have had difficulty retrieving it from the tin as others have mentioned.

This has been the first 'solid' shampoo bar that I have purchased, and I can't rave more about it! In utilizing it almost every day, it continues to clean and moisturize without the need for follow-up conditioning. Lathers well, and smells fabulous! It has been a little over two months from first use, and there is still plenty left to last a while more!

This was my very first LUSH product ever and I've been using it for almost two months. It's a Holy Grail product now. My hair is visibly shinier and touchably softer, and even needs to be washed less. You can hardly even tell that I've used the bar, so little has been used up. I don't know if it will last 80 washes like they say but it will definitely last longer than normal liquid shampoo. The one thing I don't like about it is that even though I like the Jasmine scent, it makes my entire bathroom smell very strongly of it AND when you get it wet, it doesn't smell like Jasmine, it smells like jasminey mothballs. I'm okay with that though because the rest of the time it's fine.

This is my absolute favorite shampoo. It works great being both shampoo and a conditioner and best of all it smell AMAZING! I'm only on my second bar because it lasts forever. I love that it makes my hair so soft and manageable. I find myself smelling my hair all day.

So I just had to share this: I've been using Godiva (and Lush products exclusively) since April of this year, so about 6 months. I've been growing my hair out and finally made it to a stylist the other day. She was blown away by my hair. She kept asking what I use to make it so healthy and beautiful - I recommended her to check out the solid shampoos and this one in particular. She said "I have never seen such healthy hair!" That says it all ladies - I've been told by stylists all of my life that my shampoo is stripping/coating/splitting my hair, and it's so nice to have a professional asking advice on how to get healthier hair! I love Lush, and have been using Godiva and other solid shampoos for years. That said, I recognize that they are very confusing for first time users!!

I recommend cutting Godiva into smaller chunks so that you don't melt the whole bar down. I take a little bit into the shower with me each time and crush it into a bit of a paste and work it into my hair.

I have extremely long hair so I have to use quite a bit of product and it takes forever to lather, but it's worth it because Godiva is amazing. It smells heavenly and leaves my hair bouncy and healthy.

Bottom line: Buy this product if you have time in your daily routine to give your hair some extra attention. It's amazing but you have to work with it a little.

The first two times I used this shampoo, my hair actually loked pretty good. The only problem I had was that it really tangled my hair while I was washing it. It was so hard to pull a comb through my hair. The third time I used the shampoo, my hair felt sticky. I washed out the shampoo thoroughly, so I know that wasn't the problem. Once, my hair dried it still felt weird so I combed through it. I looked like a poodle. There was so much frizz in my hair. I couldn't tame it.

I've never used a bar shampoo or any Lush product before, but my friend brought it along on a trip and now I'm hooked! Not sure why some other reviews labeled this as greasy. Godiva made my hair feel sqeaky clean while in the shower, so I was nervous about it drying my hair out. I've bought into super conditioners, hair oils, and numerous treatments over the years to combat my constantly dry, brittle ends. Imagine my surprise when I found my hair to be so soft and healthy from root to tip!

I wasn't in love with the smell. It was nice, but I'm not a big fan of jasmine anyway. I'd like to try some others, but the conditioning aspect of Godiva has me hooked. If the other bars need conditioner to accompany them, I'll definitely be sticking with this one. Cutting my shower time in half is a wonderful, unexpected discovery.

When I went into Lush I had been skeptic of using the solid shampoo bars and stuck to my drug store brand shampoo, but I had always been rather curious about it.

A kind lady in the store showed me this shampoo and suggested it due to my hair type, and when I started using this product I used it DAILY since I had such oily hair that I'd have to wash every day, but after about a week and a half of using it... I didn't have to wash my hair daily anymore, and now I wash it every other day.

It saved me the hassle of dealing with oily hair, and I actually started getting compliments about how my healthy my hair looked.

My only issue with it is that if not kept in a container it will hold some of the extra water, making it kinda turn into a sort of soft soap bar. You'll have to use a little at a time after awhile, but a little does go a long way with this bar.

I love Godiva! I had never used a shampoo bar before when I purchased Godiva for the first time. My hair is color-treated, straight as a stick, dry at the roots, but I have an oily scalp, and long (to the center of my back). The first time I used Godiva, I couldn't believe how well it lathered! I expected to have to scrub it on my hair to achieve a typical shampoo-like lather, but that isn't the case. I simply rubbed it over my hair a few times and the lather was amazing! The smell is my favorite-pure jasmine. I don't notice any moisturizing effects with Godiva, but my hair feels very clean after I use it and the smell of jasmine lingers all day. Since I do have dry hair, I use this in combination with Retread conditioner. For the first time in my life, with the use of Godiva, I find that I do not have to wash my hair daily. I can skip a day without my hair appearing greasy near my scalp. This shampoo bar does seem to fall apart when you get about halfway through with it. While I did find that a bit annoying, it was still easy enough to use and I could wash my hair with a piece the size of a nickel for quite a lot of uses! I highly recommend this solid shampoo. If you're not a fan of the jasmine scent, this one is definitely not for you, but if you like jasmine...it is AWESOME!

Okay so I was a little skeptical about using this product since I have long thick wavy hair. With normal shampoo I wash, the smell goes away and I have to wash my hair the next day it's so oily and I am amazed that this little bar has done so much all ready!! It lathered well for me and really cleaned my hair! The next day I was late for work so didn't shower again and the smell lasted me all day! My hair wasn't oily and it was very soft and shiny. I didn't even use conditioner which is usually a must for me, and my hair didn't get all knotted up! This shampoo is AWESOME!!!
