The Golden Slumbers bomb is incredibly relaxing. If you love lavender like me you will probably really enjoy this one. It smells like you are immersed in a garden full of fragrance. My only advice is that the bomb contain more lavender buds/flowers and less stems. The stems are not all that pretty to look at.

I really enjoy the smell of this bath bomb! It smells nice, but then gets better as it fizzes.
Sadly it just didn't do it for me. The scent lasted all of 4 minutes. I enjoy a bath that the scent lingers for at least 10 minutes. I understand to some that may feel really short and to others it could be really long, but I feel that is necessary for a bath bomb.
Also, the herbs and I mean A LOT of herbs came out. Not cute little leaves from the but what really look like green twigs! I was not expecting it. And they cames in so many sizes. I picked on up and felt it and it itched really bad.
Lastly, the glitter. On mine, it looked like it had lots of glitter. But sadly, I was wrong. Absolutley NO glitter came out. I couldn't find a single speck.
I don't think I will be rebuying this bath bomb. :(

I used this in a cocktail with the Dreamtime Bath Melt and some of A French Kiss Bubble Bar. It. Was. Heaven! I dropped this baby in my bath before any of the other products so I got to experience this by itself and it's definitely packed with lavender! It smelled amazing and it was super relaxing (especially when I used the rest of the products).
I would have given this the full 5 stars for a rating except there is a TON of little lavender florlets that come out of this so this baby needs to be socked if you don't want them clinging to the sides of your tub or possibly clogging your drain.

I really loved the scent of this bomb and it was so relaxing but I just couldn't get over all the stems and bits of things that floated all around me while I was trying to relax. I felt like I was swimming in a lake, albeit a lake that smelled delicious. I'd definitely buy this again BUT I would wrap it in something like a nylon stocking or herb bag before using it so that I can relax without worrying about all the stuff floating around me.

I bought this because I have been having problems sleeping and after soaking in this at night I had the best sleep ever! Smells great and was an awesome experience. I will definitely be buying this one again. If you don't like floaties I suggest using a nylon to catch the little floaters.

I was really excited to try this, it smelled wonderedful and relaxing before I put it in the tub, and it made me itchy for days afterward. I suspect it was from the glitter. I would like to try it again if they lose the glitter. Not to mention the mess it makes!!

I bought this as a last resort cure-all. I'd been battling a few different illnesses/colds, and nothing was seeming to help fight off my fever and lasting ailments.
I dropped this guy in the bathtub and immediately, my sinuses started to clear up, and i could feel the tension in my shoulders relaxing.
It does get the tub a little messy, but that's just because of all the lavender bits in the bomb. I thought it was a lovely touch, and it didn't bother me one bit. For those that aren't into cleaning up after a bath, put this bomb in a nylon before using it.
After only a few minutes in the bath, a rash I've had due to an allergic reaction to one of my anitbiotics started to clear up! The bath bomb was so soothing on my skin.
After about an hour in the bath I got out. I haven't felt this relaxed and rejuvenated in weeks.
I'll definitely be stocking up on these for the next time I get sick, and to give to friends when they start feeling ill.
It was absolutely perfect.

While I really liked the the relaxing smell of this bomb I was not a fan of the stemmy surprise that came out of it. Made me feel like I was bathing with bugs... Not cool

If you can get over the floaties that come in the bomb then you might enjoy this just before bed... I can't

Just plop one of these babies into the tub and you'll be totally relaxed in no time. This is my favorite bomb to use before bedtime and it leaves you skin so soft and smelling amazing!

I generally adore lush bombs, and was very excited when I saw this bomb due to the fact that I suffer from insomnia and I figured this bomb might help me to calm down before bed. However, I absolutely hate this bomb. It smells nice, but the little stick-things and seeds were awful. I love when lush puts little treats in the bombs; however, this not so much. The seeds looked like little bugs, and bathing in this reminded me of when I was a kid and I'd take a bath after playing outside in the mud and hay-not a great bedtime reminder. The bits also clung to me and made me itchy. I ended up getting out within maybe 10 minutes and decided to try a non-lush bomb. Definitely won't be recommending this or purchasing again.

This bath bomb was the reason I fell in love with LUSH. It was the first item I ever used and after my bath using Golden Slumbers I knew there was no going back. Lavender is my absolute favorite scent so this bath bomb was made for me. I popped it in my bath and as it fizzed away it released an incredible lavender scent a ton of little lavender buds! I loved having them float around me in the bath. I know a lot of people complain about there being residue left behind but I don't understand those complaints about this bath bomb when it's obvious there are several flower buds in the bomb. LUSH always warns customers about possible surprises so if you don't want the mess of the petals, put the bomb in a nylon! I would hate to see this bath bomb get lower ratings just because people don't follow the instructions. Another great thing about this bomb was that even though it doesn't turn the water colors, there is a faint shimmer to the water which is beautiful. I've already bought this bomb multiple times and I can't wait to buy it again! It's very relaxing and perfect after a long day!

This is the first bath bomb i ever got from lush.. It made me have a bad impression of the bath bombs.. which i came to love after using my second bath bomb ever. The lavender buds stayed in my tub and left residue. It didn't turn the bath gold or white. It just stayed clear. I love lush so much this is the only product i didn't like. I'm not picky with lush stuff at all. I just didn't come to like this very much. sorry lush :(

Smells very soothing and relaxing... However, the lavender buds DO look like little dead bugs floating in the water, as a previous reviewer noted and did not easily rinse out of the tub. Also, they stuck on my skin and so I was afraid to wash my hair...

I bought this at a Lush in NYC recently to use that evening after a long, busy weekend. I mostly got it because it's the only sleep/relaxation related bath product I haven't tried yet. I always have trouble falling asleep so I like to try and find products that can help with that and I think this is my new go-to bath bomb for that purpose.
When I first put it in the tub, I really did not like the scent at all. I nearly got out and abandoned my bath but I'm glad I didn't. Once this bomb dissolved, I couldn't really smell anything at all but man, could I feel the effects! I felt so soothed and relaxed, I nearly fell asleep in the tub! This bomb doesn't change the color of the water but it does have glitter and lavender buds that make the water look nice. As soon as I got out of the tub, I pretty much fell asleep straightaway, it was the fastest I have ever fallen asleep, ever!
Even though I was really repelled by the initial scent, I definitely will be buying this bath bomb again, solely based on the fact that it is so darn effective! If you suffer from insomnia like me or just want a little help drifting off to sleep, I wholeheartedly recommend this product!

I loved how it smelled, and it made my skin super soft, and i was super relaxed, i stayed in the bath for a looong time. I just wish it was prettier. its visually boring. i wish it had way more lavender flowers, and some sort of color, like maybe white, or lavender.

I found this to be a major bummer. I loved the smell of it by itself, but in the bath it was a big let down. I don't mind the residue at all- I knew what I was getting into, but there was no lavender smell. I really needed some relaxing smells after a stressful day and instead I found this didn't change the bathwater too much or smell too great. So I just lit some candles instead. The first LUSH product I've been truly dissapointed in.

I thought it looked good online so I had my husband pick it up for me. Dry, it smelled great. I like Sex Bomb, Twilight, The Wuss (bubble bar) and such, so nothing to potent...well, once I got in the bath with it the lavender really came out which isn't appealing to me. If you like lavender though, you'll like this one. Doesn't leave a color (I dont think...I had candles), but it does leave these little brown things floating around that look like dead bugs, but I dont mind that. Doesnt leave you sparkly like you might think. Let's just say I spend almost two hours in the tub with Twilight, but maybe 45 mins with this one, so not my fave.
