Green Fun
How to use
Begin by unwrapping FUN from the biodegradable cellophane just as you would an enormous piece of candy. Save the wrapper for when playtime's over. To use as soap or shampoo, pinch off a small bit in your hand (or on a bath pouf) and hop in the tub, lathering from head, shoulders, knees to toes. If you fancy a bubble bath, crumble a small chunk under a warm running tap for mountains of suds.

I love FUN, and think it is an awesome and ingenious product. That being said, there is one big con worth noting: bubbles just did not happen for me the way I wanted them to.

First thing I did with FUN - unwrapped and played with it like I was 5 again. A little stuck to my hands, but a big advantage over traditional play dough - can you guess? Cleanup was almost as fun as playing with it!

A little on the texture of FUN - playing with it, I found it to be somewhere between the texture of circus peanut candy and fluffed nougat or a kneadable art eraser. It's light - not as dense and oily as play dough. I was surprised at its stickiness - it is a bit sticky, like cookie dough. Again, it being a soap, that's not much of a problem.

Next, I took it in the bath. I took a tablespoon sized amount and ran it under the faucet - yay bubbles! In about 15 seconds, they were gone and I was sad. Note: I do not have a jet tub. I hear bubbles work differently in jet tubs.

I had another tablespoon amount handy for FUN's other uses, and tried shampoo next. WOW. I didn't expect it to be so amazing as a shampoo. My sister tried it also, and was not amazed, so let me give you a tip: because Lush's shampoos have less of those harmful detergents and foaming agents than traditional shampoos, lathering them between your palms for about 10 seconds before putting them on WET hair helps to spread the foam around. I rubbed my hands together until I had a green paste, put the then teaspoon-sized amount of FUN on the side of my tub and lathered up. I could tell right away that FUN as a shampoo was super cleansing - it left my thick, curly hair in a couple knots. However, I realized when putting in conditioner that I didn't need more than usual, and may have needed less. I usually use Rehab shampoo, and my conditioner is Retread. Rinsed out my hair and it was super soft, and light with a little more volume than usual, but not fluffy or flyaway. Very shiny and soft. If FUN were just a shampoo, I would have been fully satisfied with it.

Last thing I tried it as was soap. I dunno what to expect from soap, but this was a sufficient soap. FUN was described to me as "foamy" by a Lush salesperson, and I think I agree. It does not have a rich lather, but it does have a bubbly lather. Kind of hard to describe, but good, all round, as a soap.

I ran the rest of my FUN under the tap for a few more fleeting bubbles.

I would give FUN a 5/5, except I have to deduct a star for the lackluster bubbles. I was expecting so much more out of the bubble part! But, all in all, a lovely product with a juicy scent like lime candies (those hard ring-shaped candies whose copyrighted name must be omitted, perhaps?). I do expect it to last a long time as a shampoo and soap - maybe a month, if I used it daily, which I'm not planning on doing, because I want to save it for special occasions (the type I reserve for bathing, rather than showering).

First of all, this stuff is seriously fun to play with. Even when just using it in the shower, I would dare anyone to use it without squishing it around!
Secondly, it does make an excellent soap. Just enough lather to get you squeaky clean, and it smells like a lime explosion!
Lastly, I would not recommend it's usage as a bubble bar or shampoo. In terms of shampoo, it's a lot of hard work to get it to lather enough. As a bubble bar, you have to use a TON of it just to get a decent amount of bubbles.

      Comments about LUSH Green Fun:

This one is a great product for children especially, but anyone will enjoy all the ways you can use and enjoy FUN! It's great for bonding with the kids while they play and a great way to get kids to wash their hair and body. The very coolest part of it though is that we know we helped kids in Japan have fun post-tsunami. I love that Lush is so charitable in giving a portion of the funds made by fun back to a good cause!

      Comments about LUSH Green Fun:

I recently discovered a LUSH store nearby and decided to pick a green FUN for my fiancé. He's really into bubble baths. Unfortunately, the bubbles were lackluster, but man, did he smell good!! This stuff gets nice and foamy for a soap, and gives a slight tint to the bathwater. Your skin will get squeaky clean and you'll smell like candy, as other reviews have stated. The bubbles are on par with the drugstore brands, but if LUSH decided to make this scent in a bubble bar, I may never see my fiancé (dry) again!

I bought this when I smelled it at a LUSH store, and have made it a repurchase. My son is 4 and though he was disappointed at the lack of bubbles... the fact that when he was lathered up he became the HULK (from the green) he loved it. It does wash off really well and makes his unmanagable hair very soft and clean and even when water is poured over his head to rinse, there is no eye irritation. Smells fresh and clean too.

      Comments about LUSH Green Fun:

My three year old daughter loves FUN. I had made an order and a bit of this came as a sample with my purchase. It smells like heaven, such a fresh, sweet scent. My daughter loved it, she asks for it during every bath. I couldn't believe how bubbly it got and it turned the water a light lime green. We used it in her super curly hair and it kept it moist and detangled. Lovely product!

      Comments about LUSH Green Fun:

While there was virtually no lather/bubbles when used in the tub, and it's really hard to get good suds to wash with, this stuff gets 4 stars because...

-dude, it turns the bathwater green!
      -smells like lime jello
-kid loves to smush and smear it. Covers his bath toys with it, writes on the tub wall, and it doesn't leave a mess
-doesn't irritate my kids sensitive skin
      -non-toxic
-does clean effectively, despite not having any lather/much suds
-oh, yeah, and did I mentioned it turns the bathwather green?!?

      Comments about LUSH Green Fun:

I looooove this product so much! I absolutely love how great it smells, and how it is pliable enough to use for modeling clay (the FUN part!) but can also still easily be used as a soap, among other things. I use it when I wash my hands, and sometimes my face and body in the shower as a treat if I need a little citrusy invigoration in the morning. I can use FUN when I'm soaking in the bathtub, because it's a great bubble bar, and I can also use it when I'm babysitting, because the fun play is so easy to clean up, seeing that it is soap, and the bright colors and smells are even more entertaining to little ones! The only thing that I don't like about this product is that it gets used up so quickly! Taking a small amount and using it when you wash your hands will completely disintegrate it, and showering with it as well uses up even more, so I don't usually shower with it. Overall though, this is an amazing product, and a portion helps an amazing cause! I will definitely be buying this again, and you should too!

I love this! I picked it up a couple days ago, and fell in love with the scent. It's a minty-foresty scent with a touch of floral. I really enjoy it.
-Its a great shampoo, and it lathers up really well.
-Great Body Wash for the shower, and left my skin very, very soft, so I did not have to use Dream Cream or another LUSH lotion after.
-Fun hand soap to keep by the sink.
I haven't tried this as a bubble bar yet, because I'm not that much of a bath person, but I'm sure it will work great.
This is my favorite of all of the FUN scents.

This isn't a scent I would normally be attracted to..at least that's what I thought when I read it but when I got to smell it at the launch party I changed my mind. The scent is light, bright, and at the same time rich. I love the bubbles it makes and judging by my use so far I should get 4 baths out of it. I use 1/8 of it to make bubbles in the bath and then another 1/8 to soap up with. I haven't tried it in my hair yet but we will see.
