Q:Does it seriously leave dark residue or make green pits? If so, is there anyway I can prevent that from happening if I order this?Asked on 2/9/2015 by Remee from Manhattan, NY
A:We chose Powdered Charcoal in this product because of it's ability to absorb moisture. The Patchouli and Calamine powder mix together to soothe and calm while leaving your skin perfectly earthy scented. So long as you work the product into the skin with your hands as intended, you shouldn't be left with any residue.Answered on 3/22/2015 by Alexander from LUSH Direct
Q:It says in features that this product can be used on feet? My boyfriend has had a foot odor issue since he was a kid and I want to know how it would work and also how it is applied. Also, can it be worn on the feet throughout the day or is bedtime a better solution?Asked on 3/13/2014 by Angie from Asheville, NC

A:I'd be glad to help. My fiancé uses gov. On his pits only but, I tried using it on my pits but found it wasn't potent enough so switched to teo and love it! But I am one that doesn't like to waste my beauty products so I thought, how can I still put this powder to use? I have a few pair of shoes that tend to smell toward the end of the day, so I started sprinkling the powder inside the shoes. I have noticed there is no odor anymore with those shoes. If his foot odor just happens with shoes on if suggest doing what I did. But if his feet are a bit stinky on their own maybe at night he can sprinkle some into his socks and that might help. Good luck!

A:Yes, you can use gov'ner on feet - says so on the packaging. Hubby mops up fallen product with his tootsies. Gov'ner is an amazing product. Enjoy!

A:My husband uses the foot powder in his boots to control his foot
odor/sweating. He has athletes feet and his feet also sweat bad. He
sprinkles some of the powder in his work boots and also rubs it on his
feet in the evening. He has also been using Lush's Alkmaar soap on his
feet in the shower, which has helped a great deal.
Hope this helps!!!

A:although I have never used it on my feet, for my underarms it works wonders! I always put it in after shower and it lasts the whole day, it's well worth it and a bottle lasts an average of 2-3 months

Q:Hey, I had gotten a sample of this and was really excited to use it. I had applied it in the morning before I went to work and to my dismay when I got to the gym I already could smell a little bit of B.O. All the reviews are so positive, I feel like I am using enough and I don't really ever have a problem with B.O. Is there anything I might be doing wrong or anything that I could pair this with to make this work for me? I would really like to switch to a natural deodorant but I'm worried that this is the strongest deodorant and just doesn't seem to do it for me.Asked on 8/29/2013 by Andrea
A:It may just be that this particular deodorant doesn't quite do it for you, as everyone's body chemistry is different! We would recommend trying a dusting of the Guv'ner over Aromaco, which will give you the dual protection of the bar and powder. Alternately, perhaps another powder deodorant may give you more successful results!Answered on 10/28/2013 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
A:Wash your pits, dry them then use what some call an applicator, i.e. wet deodorant or lotion personally I use a body lotion.
Also I dont like this deodorant I hate petiole (sp?) I think it smells like BO so it could be that and not actual BO
T for toes is much more like a traditional Deodorant, and I prefer CoconutAnswered on 8/30/2013 by Anonymous
Q:Does this product stain clothing?Asked on 3/19/2013 by Nana from Florida
A:Because the Guv'ner is dark in colour, it may leave marks on lighter clothing. Apply a small amount carefully and stick to dark shades for best results. When you're wearing lighter colours, Coconut might be a good option!Answered on 3/19/2013 by Megan from LUSH Direct
Q:what does it smell like?Asked on 7/17/2012 by rmm3
