I am actually shocked that this product doesnt have the outstanding review I think it deserves. First of all, the scent: O. EM. GIZZLES. it smells sooo good. I wouldn't say it smells like "cherry". When I think of cherry I think of coughdrops, and this does NOT smell like that at ALL. I think it smells like marzipan, sweet, fruity and almondy. If you're familiar with the rising sun soap (for the Japan earthquake) this is the same scent. If you like the smell of think pink bath bombs I think you'll love the scent.
Now, I really have to thank lush for splitting this three ways. It is soo easy to break it evenly down the crease, and the size is perfect for my average sized tub.
When I use it, I crumble most of it under the bath water, and plop the rest in my tub, rubbing whatever excess on my hands on my legs before I shave. Speaking of which, if you suffer from razor bumps, burn, dry skin or irritated legs from shaving, this is the ONLY product that prevents it for me. It turns your water a pleasant pink color, and leaves an extremely creamy consistency.
Why this product doesnt have a higher review, I do not know. This is probably in the top 5 favorite lush products of mine.

I bought this product because it smelled great, had this pinkish color, and actually had three uses in one. The bar is lined into three sections so that three different uses can be had. I would wet one triangle of the bar under hot streaming bath water. It would melt but once it was in the water, it was so diluted that I couldn't smell it or feel the moisture anymore. It was pretty much kind of pointless for me to use since I like large baths. I can see this being used for children baths though. Children like to play outside: They are always getting ant bites, rolling in the grass etc. This bath melt will definitely help sooth the little ones. But for an adult-sized bath, this just doesn't cut it.

This was amazing! I used one chunk of it (I cut it up into 3 pieces) in my bath, and I was happily surprised at the strength of the smell. It wasnt overpowering by any means. After I got out of my bath, I took another chunk, got it wet and rubbed it all over my skin, then dried. It was an amazing moisturizer! It is a Must- Have!

I absolutely LOVE this product. My 4 year old son has awful contact dermatitis from his allergies and he's constantly itching, so I decided to try this bath melt being that it is calamine based to see if it would offer him some relief.... after soaking for 5 minutes he completely stopped itching and we've been using it just about every other day ever since! I love lush products for myself so I was so happy to find that they helped my son too! I recommend this for anyone with sensitive and/or dry skin. it makes your skin feel comfortable again.

I love this bath melt because I can get three uses out of it and it smells great! It turns my bath a lovely milky pink color and fills the bathroom with a great cherry sent. When you get out of the tub, the oil lingers on your skin but you don't feel oily, you just feel moisturized and soft!

The bath melt smelled great, but just not when it hits the water. It does turn the water a great color and feels good on your skin. My biggest compliant is that it stained my bath tub, but it was an easy clean.

Overall this was great experience. The melt turned my skin (and the water!) to silk! The scent not's not very potent though, so if you're a scent person like me, I'd couple it with candles or some other smell good thing for relaxing time!

I have tried every Lush product out there. Shampoo, conditioner, bath bombs, bubble bars, shower jellies, etc., and I love every single one of them. I was so excited to try my first bath melt, happy blooming. I purchased this online, and don't have a Lush store close to me, so I could not smell the product before I purchased it. I recieved the product in the mail and was immediately disappointed. It smells like playdough! I used it in my next bath anyways, not wanting to judge the product before actually trying it. Horrible. The texture was greasy and it left a terrible residue in my tub and on my skin. This is the first/only Lush product that I do not like, and will not be re-purchasing!

My boyfriend and I enjoy taking baths together, and Happy Blooming is something my boyfriend does not mind me popping into the tub. He doesn't like strong fragrances, and this one didn't bother him at all. Since we're two, we usually just pop the whole thing in. It's fun to watch it melt, and sometimes we paint each other's faces and bodies :P. Afterwards our skin is so smooth to the touch, not to mention we smell great!! This is something I always keep on hand.

I picked this bath melt up on a whim at the Lush store. It was my first trip to Lush and I had a few items in mind to pick up and then I let my nose do the rest of the shopping for me. I wasn't much interested in the bath melts (other than MMM Marshmallow) but I did end up picking up this one because it smelled of Cherry Vanilla. When I got home and set up my bath I combined it with butterball and half a ma bar to play on the sweet cherry scent (we'll just overlook the fact I'm obsessed with vanilla for now). Unfortunately, the bit I broke off to use from the bar didn't melt all the way-- the hot water tap can be finicky on my tub so I'm not sure it was hot enough-- and I discovered near the end of my bath that bit stuck in a slippery clump on the bottom tub (further pieces remained that I later had to rinse/chip off afterwards) BUT swishing the remnants around made this gorgeous pink pearlescent cloud erupt in the water which was beyond fabulous. Next time I'll be sure to "swish" and make sure it melts properly!
The scent didn't suffer from not melting by any means, even with the accompanying vanilla notes, the fruity cherry scent prevailed in the water and my skin still felt wonderfully moisturized after (thank you calamine!) which is great since winter weather skin sent me in Lushs' direction in the first place!
I'd say, based on this first impression (user errors aside), I'll be picking Happy Blooming up again. Especially to mix!

This was my first time using a bath melt and i loved it! I had a brilliant idea, usually when i shave i get extremely dry and irritated skin. So i shaved right before had and then drew my bath with the melt and just soaked for a while. My skin was incredibly soft, very well moisturized and no irritation or red bumps! Not to mention it smells great!

I just used this for the first time tonight, & I'm psyched about the awesomeness of now getting to do it 2 more times! The scent is subtly floral, not overpowering at all, & it dyes the bathwater lightly pink & makes it oh-so-silky. I got a box of goodies from one of my friends and planned a bath night... I unpackaged all the items to find out what they were, the soap is amazingly creamy and I always love the bath bombs but when I saw this I couldn't find it in my little booklet so I snapped off a piece and threw it into the water. Nothing happened so I pulled it out and threw in a bath bomb... then I took the little piece and rubbed it between my palms and it melted. The texture reminded me of clay so I put it on my face and soaked in the luxury of the fizz. When I rinsed, my face felt so smooth and tight I was sure I had guessed right and that this was a mask. But no it wasn't... however, I will use it as one.

I decided to try this because I couldn't get enough of the smell--it smells so wonderful. I used it after going in the hot tub. This was the perfect choice--it made the bath smell absolutely wonderful and took away all of the negative chlorine effects, leaving my skin feeling very smooth and smelling absolutely wonderful!
I did not feel that one section of the melt was enough so I used two.

I love love LOVE this melt.
I have psoriasis, an especially bad patch around my ankle. The first time I got out of the bath after using this products, my skin looked so much better!
I typically cut this up into sixths instead of thirds, and I get a little more use out of it.

I love this bath melt! The color and design are so cute. It turns the water a very pale pink, so i like to use it with a colored bath bomb or bar, but i have no problems using it alone either. It makes my skin super soft, and it stays for days. The only con i can think of is it doesnt really melt by itself, you kind of have to crumble it under the water to help it along.

I never really thought of buying this as the reviews for it aren't so great. However, I saw this during my monthly lush raid, and I couldn't resist. It smells like cherry italian cookies. For around $7, you get 3 uses which is a really good deal, as most of the other bath melts are the same price for one use. I put a third of it under the faucet of my medium sized bathtub, and the bathwater turned bright pink. It made my usually dry skin and hair extremely soft, and now two hours later I still smell like Happy Blooming. As an added bonus, it relieved my sore muscles and was very relaxing. I will be buying another one very soon!
