This was the first bubble bar I used from Lush and came in the mail from the very first order I got from Lush. I think I expected a little more out of it, but it was pretty good. There were plenty of bubbles for me to soak in and made the water a type of aqua blue color. The smell of it really wasn't as strong as I thought it would be, but that's good. I soaked in the tub for awhile and the bubbles lasted pretty well for me.
When you open up the bag, the smell is very over-whelming and hits you right in to face. I would suggest letting it air out for 5 minutes before you use it. I agree with a lot of people, it reminds me a lot of cleaning product once you smell it out of the bag, yet once you smell it coming out of your tub, its a lot more settling and more pleasant.
Yet, once I got out of the tub, I noticed my skin was a little dry. So, it dried out my skin a little bit, but I don't mind that as much, yet I still have to moisturize it.
I break the bar in to thirds and put one third in a nylon stocking and hook it on to my faucet on my tub and let the water run through it. It worked very well and made the right amount of bubbles I wanted.
Over all, the product wasn't bad, it made me more alive and woken up then I was before my bath and enjoyed the experience, yet I didn't like how it dried my skin.

I used the Bathos Bar before it was canned and loved it. Happy however doesn't smell very good in my opinion. It smelled like floor cleaner, to the point that I almost didn't want to get in the tub. It also really dried out my skin which I don't normally have any problems with. On the plus side, the color in the water is really pretty.

This was apart of my first Lush Retro order and I have to say I was pretty disappointed with all of the products purchased. I definitely didn't get any sandalwood when I smelled it, to me it smelt like some sort of strong cleaning product. Even when I gave it a go in my bath, the bubbles were small and didn't last more than three minutes.

I got two of these in my very first LUSH order. I was a little confused on how to use them so i just crumpled a whole one into my bath! I was practically drowning in bubbles! This works even better than the Scoobie-Doo bubble bath i used when i was little. After I'd done a little research on LUSH products around the Net i cut the second Bubble bar in half and still had a delightfully bubbly bath. There was a bit of a blue ring left around the tub after using these, but it comes off easily.

If you want a real bubble bath, treat yourself to the Happy Bubble Bar. This bar comes loaded with frothy, silky white bubbles and emits a fresh, spa-like fragrance that will perk up even the most dour mood. I did not want to leave the tub!

I am in love with Happy Bubble! it smells amazing and is good for when you are feeling a little down in the dumps. I buy mostly relaxing scents that put one to sleep but this is the one bubble bar i use while reading things for school and such while soaking... it keeps me awake and, well, HAPPY! i love happy bubble!

I've made a routine of using this every monday morning and it does wake me up like it says. When I first got it (It was the first time I'd ordered online) I opened up the box and literally gagged. The smell is extremely strong and unpleasant when you first get it. Then I read some reviews and people recommended letting it sit and kind of air out for a while, so I did that. That definatly helped the smell was much less strong but it still didn't smell good. After a while of just letting it sit I finally decided to use it and was NOT disappointed, the smell was almost a good smell once in the bathtub and I could definatly smell the citrus. I tried splitting it in three to get the most use out of it but when I used just a third I wasn't that satisfied the bubbles were great and there was a decent amount but I like A LOT of bubbles so if you do too I recommend using a half of the bar at a time. Overall it's off-putting at first but give it a chance to see it in aciton:)

This bubble bar is easy to use & a must after a LONG night at work. Just turn the hot water on & soak up. Personally I prefer to cut my Lush bars in half & half was perfect. My tub filled with pretty bubbles and the water turned a deep aqua blue color.

Be advised this bubble bath bar smells very fruity.. If you enjoy citrus & fruit this is a bar to try.

You can use a fourth of the bar and still get lots of bubbles. I loved the blue water. Smell in good, not over powering.

I loved this bubble bar. It's one of my favorites that I've used so far, definitely. The colour of the water was beautiful, and the bubbles lasted a long time. The scent in the tub is so much better than outside of it. The only problem I could find with this was that there weren't all that many bubbles. However, I plan to re-purchase. Wish it wasn't retro.

I was in an absolutely terrible mood. It was midterms and I was extremely stressed out and grumpy. I figured I'd use the happy bubble, and see if it did what it was advertised to do... make me happy. It DID make me happy; actually, it made me downright giddy! It makes the water a beautiful ocean teal, the scent wasn't overpowering, and the bubbles overtook the tub. I couldn't see the water, and actually had to make sure there weren't bubbles hitting the floor. AMAZING product. I will buy this many times over!!

I wanted to give this a shot even though it was different than pictured. The smell is strong and kind of a mix of everything which i found unpleasant. My main beef with this bar was the intense blue color. There is pockets of dye in the bar that stained my hand when i crumbled it. I love lush but the intense artificial colors are a little out of control, this especially. I would not have bought it if i knew what i was getting.

I enjoyed my Happy bath, and was pleasantly surprised that the scent was much better in the tub of water than when smelling the bar, but I could never describe this as tangerine or citrus. Any citrus scent was completely overwhelmed by the sandalwood. I also found that my skin did not feel moisturized, but dry and tight when I got out of the tub.

Good news is I paired it with Honey I Washed the Kids soap and the Therapy Massage bar and now my skin has wonderful, comforting fragrance. Makes me want to curl up under a nice blanket with a good book.

After reading the reviews, I was on the fence... I tried this one out yesterday and really enjoyed it! First off, it seemed a bit oversized which was a plus. Next, the scent was ultra clean, sweet, and light. A little citrusy, a little earthy. Also, this bar created a TON on bubbles that seemed to last forever. I only used 1/4 of a bar from a bountiful bubbly blue bath!

Love, love, love it! To my nose, it is the perfect balance of citrus and sandlewood. It *is* uplifting, and relaxing too. A gorgeous scent. I hope that it will be reproduced in other products.

As usual, Lush's bubblebars make big soft luxurious bubbles. Wonderful.

This is the HAPPY bubble bar! What I do is crumble it about 15 seconds after I turn the bath water on. (That is what gives me the most bubbles!:) Personally, I think this is one great, great bubble bar! It smells SO delicious! Very aromatic scent. This turns your bath water a pretty blue shade and if you don't use body soap for awhile, then the bubbles last forever! The only con may be that it doesnt last long... but for me that is because I keep using it, I LOVE IT!! :)

When I read the description I was expecting to get a citrus bubble bar with slight tones of calming sandalwood, but was somewhat unpleasantly surprized to open it up and take a big whiff of nothing but sandalwood with a hint of something that my nose didn't like very much. I left the package open for a little while to keep the scents of everything I ordered from blending together and Iwent back and smelled it to find it was a fairly nice sandalwood scent with light undertones of citrus. I am still a bit disapointed but its not all that basd of a scent, just not what I had in mind. I would reccommend this to a friend but I would tell them in advanced that the description is a bit off.

The bubble bar I received was not the pretty blue that was shown in the picture, but more of a tanish-grey color. Also, there was a strong musky smell that I didn't think I would like. I decided to try it anyway, I've got the flu and wanted to just relax. This was WONDERFUL once I got it in the bath. Great big bubbles, it turned the water a very pretty light blue, and had a slightly sweet scent under the sandalwood and neroli. It left my skin moisturized and the bubbles lasted the whole bath! Will definitely order again!

I love sandalwood, so this bubble bar was perfect, and just what I needed at the end of a long day at work. It dissolves as a strange muddy green color at first but the water turns a nice aquamarine shade once everything is dissolved. It was moisturizing and rich without being too thick. I felt that the bubbles did last a pretty good amount of time. Made me happy!
