I only got a sample of this, but WOW- I'm extremely impressed! One of the biggest problems I've had with previous conditioners were how heavy they were vs how well they moisturized my scalp-the more they helped my scalp, the more they weighed down my already thick hair. In the summer, my scalp gets extremely dry and itchy and I have always struggled to find the 'balance' to keep my scalp and hair happy. As soon as I put this product through my hair, my scalp was re-hydrated and once I blew dry my hair it was shiny and fresh! I think this is the perfect conditioner and plan to return to buy it tomorrow!

Why it's really great: The smell is literally so distracting I can't even focus when I study. When at work, since using this product, I have boys telling me I smell really pretty.

Why it's not so good: Not a lot to say negatively, I love this product, only I tend to like conditioners that are really thick... so this took some getting used to, but once I did, I fell in love.

How I use this product: Some days I use Big shampoo & this as a conditioner to go with it, other days I use my 2-in-1 dandruff (not lush) hair wash, but I will still use just a little of this for the scent alone. I put a small amount in my hands & just get the ends of my hair.

The smell is nice, and that's about all. Although the hair smells good fresh out of the shower- it only lasts a few hours before the scent is gone.

As a conditioner- this does absolutley nothing. I expect my hair to feel soft and nice and detangled after conditioner- and this didn't do that at all. My hair was a tangly disaster when I was washing it out. The product was also very thin and drippy. I do not have very long hair, nor is it super thick or curly or anything like that. I like the idea of the product, but it's too bad it doesn't work.

I think it was rather expensive- and for that price I expect a conditioner to actually work. Back to the store it will go!

The smell is so amazing that I WANT to love this. I want to love it so bad. I've used it twice and I simply cannot comb through my hair, even with R&B and an oil. Such a bummer to have to take it back.

This was a terrible disappointment. The scent is just awful--it smells artificial, like a chemical laden floral air freshner. It gave me a rip roaring headache. It's a shame, because it conditions beautifully. Guess I'll have to stick with Veganese, which has a lovely scent.

I use this as my daily conditioner with Rehab. I like it, though its a little light and I feel like I need to use a lot. The smell is awesome, I get the citrus but also rose and neroli. I will probably try something different when I run out, but would definitely use again, the smell is incredible!

So, I really liked what it did for my hair. I have very short, thick hair that can get very frizzy. And this, in combination with Godiva, made my hair silky smooth and frizz-free.

BUT... I don't know how I feel about the smell. From the bottle, it smells medicinal... almost herbal. The conditioner itself runs a little thin, and even though I have very short hair, I find myself using more than I'd like (especially considering how expensive the product is, and how much you actually get for it).

I did still give the product 4 stars because like I said, I love how soft my hair is, but since I actually bought it for the smell... I think next time, I'm going to actually go to a Lush store and pick up something like American Cream and hope for the same effects but with a more pleasant smell.

The first thing I want to say it Oh my GOSH I love how this conditioner smells. I found myself and others smelling my hair and receiving SO many compliments. I never even had to wear perfume when I used it.

However, I found it very off putting how many alcohols and sulfates there are in this conditioner. Alcohol is very drying on the hair and sulfates tend to make build up and make the hair "darker" looking. I am hoping to find another product that smells good and does not contain so many additives. Which seems to be quite the challenge...

If you're looking for a very light conditioner, this is for you. But if you're like me and have thinner and curly hair that needs lots of moisture then this product most likely WON'T be for you.

This is the best smelling conditioner I have ever used! It smells just like shine so bright split end repair. Together, plain old amazing. Its the kind of smell that makes you want to let your hair down and toss it around like some kind of floozie. I have dark hair, curly when wet, wavy and frizzy when dry... have not had a problem with lack of moisture as of five washes later.

I honestly ordered this because I loved Ren & Stimpy as a kid. But, I'm glad I did. I love the smell! But, if you aren't a fan of florals you may find it over-powering. The consistency is very runny, and when I first put it in my hair I didn't think it would moisturize very well. But, I was wrong! It leaves hair super soft.

Smells amazing (seriously the best scent ever) but is honestly too light for my thick hair. HHJJ didn't moisturze enough UNTIL I added Jasmine Henna Fluff Eaze (once/week or once/two weeks) and R&B treatments. If you have a lot of thick hair, don't give up! Try it with a deep conditioning treatment before you rule it out. Also try Sea Spray wich has the same scent!

Warning: it is super light. The consistency is a bit runny comparedto American Cream.

This is literally the best smelling conditioner I have ever used! My hair smells fantastic after using this!! And for the first time in YEARS my hair feels SOFT after air drying from a shower. My hair is usually fluffy and dry but ever since I have started using Happy Happy Joy Joy my hair feels great! Definitely in LOVE with this conditioner!

At first I didn't like the smell of this conditioner, but I conditioned my hair with this, and the smell was so amazing. I kept smelling my hair all day. It's a little expensive, but the smell is totally worth it. I honestly wouldn't recommend this as a deep condition. I had to use quite a bit to get a good condition out of it, but I actually pre-condition my hair with a deep conditioning conditioner and rinse it out, then I leave Happy-Happy Joy Joy in so my hair smells like a nice field of flowers!I love this product and mainly re-purchase it for the amazing smell it has. Yay Lush!

I specifically wanted a very light conditioner. I was a little worried about the scent, but I tried it in store in combination with rehab and roots, and the mint in those soften the floral and I love the smell (I'm really not into florals). I get my hair colored and permed, but beyond that, I'm a wash and go kinda girl, so it's important that the shampoo and conditioner I use keep it soft, manageable, and never weigh it down. Just one wash in, and I'm already in love.

I was pretty hyped by this product because of the gorgeous smell, but I should have checked out the consistency in the store before committing to it. It is simply just too thin for my mixed fine and thick hair, making it seem ineffective. I could see it being useful for finer hair and healthier hair than mine but I have very curly hair and it does nothing to hold my curl shape. Unfortunately, now I'm stuck with a big bottle of it so I mix it with a different brand of no-lather shampoo to make it a thicker consistency. I will probably continue to mix it with various things to see if it improves the effectiveness of the product. I'm thinking maybe shea butter or coconut oil.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend for other people with curly hair.

This conditioner is the best I have ever used. The amazing smell in the bottle is completely transferred to your hair with use and it is absolutely beautiful! When my boyfriend smells my hair (and loves it) I tell him I just left the Enchanted Garden of Lush. It is a little light, but because I have wavy hair that is a little oily at times that is totally fine for me. I hope Lush keeps distributing this product because I do not know what I would do without it!

I love this stuff!! Just went to a lush store and tried on a whim. My husband loves the smell and it really makes your hair soft. It's not a deep conditioner, but definitely detangles. Smells like jasmine

Happy Happy Joy Joy is so awesome! I first washed my hair with Daddy-O (which has a lovely violet smell) Happy Happy Joy Joy has this amazing honeysuckle smell that stays with you all day. When I washed my hair the next day, I used Big shampoo and Okra conditioner and I could STILL smell HHJJ!!! Maybe it's the combination of Daddy-O but there is a distinct, wonderful honeysuckle smell. It also makes your hair really soft. Win, win!!

I've been using Happy Happy Joy Joy for a couple of weeks now. I'm really sad that I feel a need to switch, since the scent is so wonderful and long-lasting. The problem is that my fine hair tends to be very dry, and I think I just need a stronger conditioner for daily use. However I would definitely recommend it to anyone else with thin/fine hair who doesn't want it weighed down (my hair is poofing out a bit with this stuff).
