Q:What is the general time frame you have to use this by it's "best by" date?Asked on 2/1/2015 by Sammy the Fox
A:Happy Happy Joy Joy has a 14 month life from the date it was made. There will be a sticker on the bottle showing the date it was made and the use by date.Answered on 2/13/2015 by Anonymous
A:Most lush products have the use by dates listed somewhere on the bottle. One thing that affects this is improper storage. Soaps and shampoo bars must dry, face masks go in the fridge, creams and moisturizers and conditioners cannot be left open.Answered on 2/4/2015 by Skincare Junkie from Los Angeles, CA

Q:Does this smell citrusy? I want a citrusy smelling conditioner so if not this one, do you recommend another conditioner to do the job?Asked on 12/29/2013 by Chelsey Lace from Thousand Oaks, Ca
A:Happy Happy Joy Joy does not have a citrusy scent, it is more floral. Our most citrusy conditioner would be Veganese as it contains lemon, but none of them have an overpowering citrus scent.Answered on 2/26/2014 by Kendra M from LUSH Direct
A:Yes this has a lovely citrus smell. So soft and not heavy on the hair!Answered on 12/30/2013 by Anonymous
A:Happy Happy Joy Joy is a very mellow citrus; it's orange scented and smells
(to me) a lot like R&B. The scent isn't overpowering like R&B can be, and
has excellent staying power. If you like a sharper citrus, I'd recommend
Veganese. Alternately, you can skip conditioner (if your shampoo isn't very
stripping) and use R&B as a leave-in.

Q:Is this product (or any other Lush conditioners) suitable for co-washing? And also, despite being meant to be washed out, would this conditioner be safe as a leave in?Asked on 5/29/2013 by Niki from Baton Rouge
A:Our shampoos and conditioners are best used as the instructions suggest, therefore, we do not suggest using the conditioners as a leave in. We do have other options for leave in treatments, such as R&B. As for co-washing, we wouldn't recommend it simply because the conditioners are not designed to remove dirt and oil. It is best to choose a complimentary shampoo to wash with, and follow up with the conditioner.Answered on 9/27/2013 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
Q:Is this a leave in or rinse out conditioner? How to use video did not say HOW to use product.Asked on 2/24/2013 by Pamela
A:This is a rinse out conditioner, just like all of our conditioners. To use: After shampooing, squeeze a small amount into your palm. Smooth through your hair, concentrating on the ends. Rinse out and voila, you're done!Answered on 2/28/2013 by Anonymous
Q:What shampoo would be the best choice scent-wise to pair with this conditioner? Both solid and liquid recs would be appreciated. Thanks!Asked on 1/8/2013 by Anonymous
A:Our Seanik and Karma Komba solid shampoo bars or the Fair Trade Honey, Daddy-O and Blousey liquid shampoos would be great options to pair with Happy Happy Joy Joy! They all have complimentary scents, so you'll get a lovely layered fragrance that lasts and lasts.Answered on 8/14/2013 by Anonymous
Q:Is this product good on natural hair for african americans?Asked on 1/7/2013 by Anonymous
A:It sure is! This product was actually designed to work on all hair types. If you find that you might want a little more conditioner, try using our R&B hair moisturizer after this! R&B is a great "hair finisher".Answered on 8/21/2013 by Elizabeth from LUSH Direct
A:It depends on your specific hair type. There is no universal African American hair texture. This product Is probably good for coarse wavy, curly or kinky hair.Answered on 7/27/2013 by Noneofyourgoddamnbusiness from California
